height: 378px;\" \/> <\/a> <div class=\"tiled-gallery-caption\" itemprop=\"caption description\"> Formaci\u00f3n durante el acto del CEPAT 2014 (foto: Andr\u00e9s Ranguni) <\/div> <\/div> <\/div> <!-- close group --> <\/div> <!-- close row --> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>El pasado 30 de Septiembre de 2014 se llev\u00f3 a cabo en la IX Brigada A\u00e9rea, ubicada en Comodoro Rivadavia, Provincia del Chubut, la ceremonia del \u201cVuelo Solo\u201d, produci\u00e9ndose as\u00ed la correspondiente Habilitaci\u00f3n Etapa 2, de los oficiales pertenecientes a una nueva promoci\u00f3n del Curso de Estandarizaci\u00f3n de Procedimientos para Aviadores de Transporte (CEPAT).<\/p>\n<p>Hasta dicha unidad, se destac\u00f3 el Fokker F-28 Mk1000C TC-54 del Escuadr\u00f3n II Fokker F-28, el cual desde la Aeroestaci\u00f3n Militar Aeroparque traslad\u00f3 al Jefe del Estado Mayor General de la Fuerza A\u00e9rea, Brigadier General Mario Callejo para presidir la ceremonia, adem\u00e1s de diversas autoridades militares e invitados especiales. All\u00ed fueron recibidos por Jefe de la IX Brigada A\u00e9rea Brigadier Guillermo Als\u00faa, autoridades civiles, militares, e invitados especiales locales convocados para tal evento. Seguido de ello, realizaba su aterrizaje por pista 25 del aeropuerto y posterior rodaje hacia la plataforma de la unidad, el anteriormente citado SAAB, completando as\u00ed el contingente de personal invitado para esta jornada tan especial en la vida de un aviador militar.<\/p>\n<p>Paralelamente, una conocida silueta de los cielos patag\u00f3nicos se recortaba en los cielos y sobrevolaba a los presentes, se trataba del De Havilland Canada DHC-6-200 Twin Otter T-87, del Escuadr\u00f3n VII de Transporte, que completaba su \u00abVuelo Solo\u00bb con una nueva camada de \u00ab\u00c1guilas Transporteras\u201d. Estos, completaban as\u00ed, su Habilitaci\u00f3n como Etapa 2 en dicho Sistema de Armas. Como bien es sabido la IX Brigada con su CEPAT se constituye como la \u00abescuela de Transporte A\u00e9reo Militar\u00bb, donde los alf\u00e9reces aspirantes provenientes de la EAM, inicialmente realizan una serie de cursos te\u00f3ricos del SDA Twin Otter que incluyen operaci\u00f3n del avi\u00f3n, procedimientos de vuelo, prestaciones y emergencias, entre otros. Aprobada la parte te\u00f3rica, pasan a volar con la asistencia de un instructor, efectuando todas las operaciones propias de la especialidad, hasta estar listos para el \u00abSolo\u00bb. Una vez superada la inspecci\u00f3n se da por finalizado el curso siendo habilitados con la Etapa anteriormente mencionada. De esta forma, se inicia una nueva p\u00e1gina en la carrera de un aviador militar con la especialidad de Transporte dentro de la Fuerza, permaneciendo en ese mismo SDA dentro del Escuadr\u00f3n VII o siendo destinado seg\u00fan la necesidad a otro con el rol de transporte militar. En el primer caso, aprender\u00e1 a\u00fan m\u00e1s en detalle las particularidades de la operaci\u00f3n del \u00abTwin\u00bb, y en el segundo har\u00e1 lo mismo pero a bordo de otro tipo de aeronave de transporte militar en servicio con la FAA, ya sea en esa misma Brigada (caso del SDA SF-340B) o en otras ( por ejemplo en laI Br A\u00e9r para los SDA KC\/C-130H Hercules y F-28, II Br A\u00e9r SDA F-27., etc.).<\/p>\n<h2>Twin Otter<\/h2>\n<p>El sistema Twin Otter, tiene relevante importancia dentro de la FAA, ya que se destaca su rol como transporte operativo en el sur argentino y en particular al servicio de L\u00edneas A\u00e9reas del Estado (LADE) operando actualmente la ruta comprendida entre Comodoro Rivadavia(CRD)-Esquel(EQS)-Bariloche(BRC)-Chapelco(CPC)-Neuqu\u00e9n(NQN). Asimismo es imposible no mencionar el rol que cumplen estas vers\u00e1tiles m\u00e1quinas dentro del Sector Ant\u00e1rtico donde su performance STOL es m\u00e1s que invalorable, teni\u00e9ndose destacada durante todo el a\u00f1o, una aeronave en la base Marambio, colaborando con la actividad cient\u00edfica nacional e internacional que se desarrolla en las distintas bases nacionales e internacionales destacadas en dicho Sector. Ya que este, presentaba un afuste sobre la compuerta de carga, dotado de una ametralladora Browning M2HB Cal. 50. Esta aeronave, debemos notar que es parte del denominado \u00abSistema FLIR\u00bb llevado a cabo en conjunto con el Grupo de Reconocimiento Aeroespacial de la II Brigada A\u00e9rea, teniendo instalada en una abertura practicada en la parte ventral trasera del fuselaje un sistema de este tipo, que parecer\u00eda ser similar a los de la Series 2000 de la firma FLIR Systems Inc. Recordemos que un sistema similar, se prob\u00f3 experimentalmente a\u00f1os atr\u00e1s, pero instalado en uno de los Hughes 500D (369D) \u00abAvispa\u00bb de dotaci\u00f3n en la VII Brigada A\u00e9rea, colocado en el \u00e1rea del gancho de carga central. El sistema, como se pudo apreciar en la aeronave es del tipo retr\u00e1ctil, escamote\u00e1ndose dentro del fuselaje cuando este no es empleado. En el posterior almuerzo de camarader\u00eda realizado luego de la ceremonia, se pudo observar en un video proyectado para los presentes su empleo. La jornada finalmente concluy\u00f3 con la entrega de presentes a las autoridades de la unidad, a los flamantes \u00abtransporteros\u00bb y el brindis y palabras finales a cargo del Jefe de Estado Mayor de la FAA.<\/p>\n<h2>\u00abVisitors\u00bb por aqu\u00ed y por all\u00e1&#8230;<\/h2>\n<p>A la partida, desde la Aeroestaci\u00f3n Militar Aeroparque, adem\u00e1s de observar las tareas de alistamiento del TC-54, de hallar en la plataforma al Boeing 757-23A T-01 y al recientemente adquirido Boeing 737-5H6 T-04, ambos de la Agrupaci\u00f3n A\u00e9rea de la Casa Militar de la Presidencia de la Naci\u00f3n, tambi\u00e9n encontramos al North American Rockwell NA-265 Sabreliner 75A AE-175 del Batall\u00f3n de Aviaci\u00f3n de Apoyo en Combate 601 de la Direcci\u00f3n de Aviaci\u00f3n del Ej\u00e9rcito Argentino (AE).
