El pol\u00edgono de Las Bardenas es un entorno ideal para el tiro aire-suelo, la pobreza del terreno ha creado un desierto deshabitado de 20km de radio. Desde principio de la d\u00e9cada de los cincuenta los pilotos del Ej\u00e9rcito del Aire (EdA), La Armada y ocasionalmente los de alguna fuerza a\u00e9rea aliada desplegada al efecto se ejercitan en este valorado pol\u00edgono.<\/p>\n<p>Para llevar a cabo el ejercicio se desplegaron en la Base A\u00e9rea de Zaragoza (BAZ), aeronaves EF-18M del Ala 12 de Torrej\u00f3n (Madrid), F-18A+ del Ala 46 de Gando (Gran Canaria), EF-18M del Ala 15 de basados en Zaragoza , y los Mirage F1M del Ala 14 de Los Llanos (Albacete) que a pesar de su dilatado servicio en el EdA se encuentran plenamente operativos.<\/p>\n<p>Tormenta es el ejercicio de tiro aire-superficie m\u00e1s importante en Espa\u00f1a en el que participan m\u00e1s aparatos y con empleo de armamento real, adem\u00e1s, junto con el DAPEX (dedicado a evaluar la capacidad operativa y de proyecci\u00f3n de la fuerza) son los m\u00e1s importantes y de mayor envergadura que realiza la Fuerza A\u00e9rea Espa\u00f1ola. <\/p>\n<p>El ejercicio Tormenta lo organiza anualmente el Mando A\u00e9reo de Combate (MACOM), y esta enfocado a las necesidades operativas de cada momento, prestando especial atenci\u00f3n a las posibles actuaciones donde Espa\u00f1a tiene efectivos desplegados. Normalmente participan las unidades de combate del EdA que tienen el rol de ataque al suelo. En este ejercicio los pilotos tienen la oportunidad de ejercitarse en el empleo de armamento real, y verificar que los rutinarios procedimientos seguidos con el de pr\u00e1cticas son los adecuados.<\/p>\n<div align=\"center\">\n<table style=\"border-collapse: collapse\" id=\"table2\" border=\"0\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<th align=\"center\"><script type=\"text\/javascript\"><!--\ngoogle_ad_client = \"ca-pub-5501201466418085\";\n\/* rectangular WP *\/\ngoogle_ad_slot = \"3799649617\";\ngoogle_ad_width = 468;\ngoogle_ad_height = 60;\n\/\/-->\n<\/script><script type=\"text\/javascript\" src=\"http:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/show_ads.js\">\n<\/script><\/th>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/div>\n<p>As\u00ed mismo el ejercicio Tormenta es un excelente banco de pruebas para que los mec\u00e1nicos y armeros de cada unidad se enfrenten al manejo de armamento de guerra, a los protocolos de desembalaje y armado de cada tipo de bomba (espoletas, aletas, paraca\u00eddas de frenado, etc). Se detectan posibles deficiencias y se verifica que los ataques obtienen el grado de precisi\u00f3n requerido, tanto por su efectividad como para minimizar en lo posible los da\u00f1os colaterales.<\/p>\n<p>Tambi\u00e9n se comprueba que el armamento alistado en cada unidad se encuentra en \u00f3ptimas condiciones de uso, para lo que se realiza un sondeo de los lotes asignados con una pr\u00f3xima caducidad, se verifica su trazabilidad y las labores de mantenimiento o posibles modernizaciones que se le han realizado desde que fueron recibidas por la unidad. Llegado el momento autorizan la suelta de las bombas, verificando posteriormente el grado de efectividad del ataque. Estos FAC estar\u00edan integrados en los contingentes a\u00e9reos destinados a ser desplegados en el exterior.<\/p>\n<p>Una misi\u00f3n tipo comienza con un informe de inteligencia que proporciona los datos del objetivo a batir. Las posiciones ocupadas por fuerzas propias y las posibles amenazas antia\u00e9reas a las que pudieran enfrentarse los paquetes de ataque. Los armeros y el personal de tierra configuran los aviones con el armamento apropiado para destruir o inutilizar cada objetivo asignado. <\/p>\n<div align=\"center\">\n<table border=\"0\" cellpadding=\"0\" bgcolor=\"#c0c0c0\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td>\n<div align=\"center\">Espacio publicitario<\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>\n<div align=\"center\"><script type=\"text\/javascript\"><!--\ngoogle_ad_client = \"ca-pub-5501201466418085\";\n\/* Anuncio texto WP *\/\ngoogle_ad_slot = \"4059859780\";\ngoogle_ad_width = 468;\ngoogle_ad_height = 15;\n\/\/-->\n<\/script><script type=\"text\/javascript\" src=\"http:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/show_ads.js\">\n<\/script><\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/div>\n<p>El armamento empleado son bombas Mk-82 de 250kg, BR-250 y BR-500 de 250kg y 500kg respectivamente que son de prop\u00f3sitos generales y fragmentarias.<\/p>\n<p>Las BRP-250 y las BRPS de 250kg, frenadas y superfrenadas respectivamente, que pudi\u00e9ndose emplear para prop\u00f3sitos generales son especialmente dise\u00f1adas para ataques a baja y muy baja cota ya que debido a su baja velocidad de impacto son \u00f3ptimas para batir veh\u00edculos ligeros, dep\u00f3sitos de combustible, aviones aparcados, etc.<br \/>Las GBU-10\/16 de guiado laser van dotadas del sistema Paveway II y son empleadas en ataques contra objetivos que requieren un alt\u00edsimo grado de precisi\u00f3n. <\/p>\n<p>El Jefe de Estado Mayor del Ej\u00e9rcito del Aire, miembros del Consejo Superior del Ej\u00e9rcito del Aire y Jefes de las Unidades participantes, se desplazaron al pol\u00edgono de Tiro de las Bardenas el d\u00eda 9 de septiembre, y pudieron observar el ejercicio adem\u00e1s de saludar personalmente al personal desplegado en Bardenas.<\/p>\n<figure style=\"width: 650px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.gacetaeronautica.com\/gaceta\/wp-101\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/torment0.jpg?resize=640%2C462\" width=\"640\" height=\"462\"><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">El F1M C.14-18 \/ 14-12 es alistado para el vuelo en la plataforma militar sur de la Base A\u00e9rea de Zaragoza.
