Palabras como conectividad, soberan\u00eda, poder a\u00e9reo y otras similares han aparecido mil veces en publicidades que, si bien se mira, deber\u00edan haber tenido el objetivo de vender pasajes.  <\/p>\n<p>La gente termina habitu\u00e1ndose a esto, como termina habitu\u00e1ndose a que las empresas estatales tengan d\u00e9ficit y sus directivos no lo expliquen. Eso es todo.  <\/p>\n<figure style=\"width: 650px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.gacetaeronautica.com\/gaceta\/wp-101\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/petroleo2.jpg?w=1140\"><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Esquema original de los DC-6 de FAMA (foto: Archivo General de la Naci\u00f3n).<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>El 1\u00ba de mayo de 1958 asumi\u00f3 la presidencia de la Argentina Arturo Frondizi, un pol\u00edtico de extracci\u00f3n radical que en esa ocasi\u00f3n representaba a la Uni\u00f3n C\u00edvica Radical Intransigente, porque el partido lleg\u00f3 dividido a las elecciones.  <\/p>\n<p>Fue un per\u00edodo dif\u00edcil. La Argentina ten\u00eda un fuerte d\u00e9ficit, y la mayor parte del mismo estaba producida por las importaciones de combustibles, lo que llev\u00f3 a Frondizi a encarar una revolucionaria pol\u00edtica petrolera, que abri\u00f3 las puertas a empresas extranjeras para la extracci\u00f3n del mineral, logrando as\u00ed el ansiado autoabastecimiento.  <\/p>\n<figure style=\"width: 650px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.gacetaeronautica.com\/gaceta\/wp-101\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/petroleo3.jpg?w=1140\"><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Raro aviso de Aerol\u00edneas Argentinas publicado en la revista <em>Avia<\/em> de septiembre de 1950, en el que se ve parcialmente el esquema de FAMA. N\u00f3tese que todav\u00eda no hab\u00eda aparecido el C\u00f3ndor, que naci\u00f3 de un concurso que fue ganado por Rodolfo Pe\u00f1a, a fines de ese a\u00f1o. Es probable que el fotolito del aviso de 1958 haya sido tomado de aqu\u00ed. Otro detalle hist\u00f3rico es la inscripci\u00f3n \u201ca\u00f1o del libertador general San Mart\u00edn\u201d; era obligatoria por ley en toda la documentaci\u00f3n oficial. (colecci\u00f3n Pablo Luciano Potenze).<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Por supuesto, fue un tema muy discutido, que requiri\u00f3 de parte del gobierno una en\u00e9rgica acci\u00f3n de difusi\u00f3n. El nombre publicitario de esta pol\u00edtica fue la \u201cbatalla del petr\u00f3leo\u201d, y la frase, que en esos a\u00f1os se repiti\u00f3 hasta el cansancio, fue \u201cla batalla del petr\u00f3leo la ganar\u00e1 el pueblo\u201d. Recuerdo que hasta estaba impresa en el reverso de los boletos de tranv\u00eda.  <\/p>\n<p>Y aqu\u00ed apareci\u00f3, inevitablemente, Aerol\u00edneas Argentinas. El aviso que ilustra esta nota fue tomado de la revista <em>Qu\u00e9 sucedi\u00f3 en 7 d\u00edas<\/em> del 12 de agosto de 1958, pero apareci\u00f3 en todos los diarios. Es claramente un aviso pol\u00edtico, como tantos otros, pero hay algunos detalles dignos de ser tenidos en cuenta.  <\/p>\n<p>Fue hecho por la agencia publicitaria Directa, que ten\u00eda entonces la cuenta de Aerol\u00edneas Argentinas. No es un mensaje generado desde el gobierno.  <\/p>\n<figure style=\"width: 650px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.gacetaeronautica.com\/gaceta\/wp-101\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/petroleo4.jpg?w=1140\"><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Esquema que realmente ten\u00edan los DC-6 de Aerol\u00edneas Argentinas en 1958 (Postal del Ministerio de Transportes).<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>El dibujo del avi\u00f3n, un DC-6, es incorrecto. Quiz\u00e1s con el apuro tomaron el primer fotolito que encontraron y lo pegaron en el aviso, sin darse cuenta de que en ese momento los aviones de la empresa no estaban pintados as\u00ed. El esquema corresponde a un breve per\u00edodo, alrededor de 1950, en el que los aviones de FAMA, una de las antecesoras de Aerol\u00edneas Argentinas, recibieron los t\u00edtulos de la nueva empresa, pero mantuvieron el dise\u00f1o anterior. Muy pronto esta flota se repint\u00f3, y en 1958 lo que se ve en el aviso era historia desde hac\u00eda tiempo.  <\/p>\n<p>El otro tema es que la empresa dice tener 31 a\u00f1os de experiencia, o sea, haber sido fundada en 1927. Pero la verdad es que Aerol\u00edneas Argentinas fue creada por un decreto de 1950, por lo que aqu\u00ed parece haber un error grave. La explicaci\u00f3n es que en esos tiempos la empresa estatal hab\u00eda decidido fijar su nacimiento en la fundaci\u00f3n de Aeroposta Argentina, que efectivamente fue fundada en ese a\u00f1o.
