No hace mucho LAN Airlines y sus subsidiarias hicieron un infomercial de varios cap\u00edtulos titulado <em>Cargas imposibles<\/em>, que se propal\u00f3 por el canal de documentales National Geographic Channel. Era bastante aburrido y alargado, pero muestra bien la problem\u00e1tica de la log\u00edstica a\u00e9rea.<\/p>\n<p>A mediados del siglo pasado, las cosas no eran muy distintas, aunque los medios de difusi\u00f3n eran m\u00e1s limitados.<\/p>\n<p>Entre mayo y junio de 1958 la Orquesta Filarm\u00f3nica de Nueva York viaj\u00f3 por primera vez a la Argentina, realizando presentaciones en el Teatro Col\u00f3n y diversas ciudades del interior del pa\u00eds. Sus directores en la ocasi\u00f3n fueron Dimitri Mitropoulos y Leonard Bernstein.<\/p>\n<p>Desde el punto de vista musical la gira fue un \u00e9xito, pero tuvo una log\u00edstica complicada, porque hubo que mover un conjunto de instrumentos musicales que ten\u00eda un peso estimado superior a las ocho toneladas. Sin duda era una carga complicada para la \u00e9poca<\/p>\n<p>Una vez cumplido el periplo sin novedades, las dos aerol\u00edneas que realizaron el trabajo publicaron avisos en los diarios resaltando lo que hab\u00edan hecho.
