Precio (en Montevideo) 490.- pesos uruguayos.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<hr \/>\n<p>El \u00faltimo ciclo de la vida de Pluna, que termin\u00f3 con su liquidaci\u00f3n, fue un proceso que revel\u00f3 las limitaciones de las fuerzas pol\u00edticas y comerciales que actuaron en el ambiente a\u00e9reo latinoamericano en las \u00faltimas d\u00e9cadas. En este caso particular, durante muchos a\u00f1os se dio la situaci\u00f3n de que la empresa no fue ni privada ni estatal.<\/p>\n<p>Mientras esto ocurr\u00eda, algunos gobiernos de la regi\u00f3n empezaron a mostrar una nueva actitud frente a las bancarrotas aeron\u00e1uticas. Empez\u00f3 Lula da Silva cuando se neg\u00f3 a financiar los desastres de Varig, y fue seguida por Evo Morales con el LAB y Aerosur. El c\u00edrculo se cerr\u00f3 \u2014hasta ahora\u2014 con Pepe Mujica, que desde el primer d\u00eda exigi\u00f3 a los socios de Pluna que cumplieran con todos sus compromisos, sin dejar nada para mejor oportunidad. Curiosamente, fueron todos mandatarios claramente identificados con la izquierda.<\/p>\n<p>Con estos antecedentes, Pluna, el riesgo de volar alto es la primera cr\u00f3nica que se publica sobre un tema de alto voltaje en Uruguay y, con sus altos y sus bajos, el libro sale airoso del desaf\u00edo.<\/p>\n<p>El autor, director de nuestro colega Portal de Am\u00e9rica, fue testigo cercano de los acontecimientos, y no oculta que crey\u00f3 en el proyecto de Mat\u00edas Campiani, aunque sobre el final de la obra tiene una visi\u00f3n m\u00e1s cr\u00edtica de su gesti\u00f3n. Tampoco disimula su desacuerdo frontal con la pol\u00edtica seguida por el presidente Mujica con Pluna y, en el fondo, parece a\u00f1orar los viejos tiempos en los que, en nombre de la conectividad y la defensa de las fuentes de trabajo, se subvencionaba sin l\u00edmite a las l\u00edneas a\u00e9reas.<\/p>\n<p>El texto no profundiza los eventuales il\u00edcitos por los que se acus\u00f3 a Campiani, que en el fondo son la esencia del caso Pluna. El planteo, que coincide en gran medida con el del ex CEO, es que se cometieron errores, y a\u00f1ade Herrera que hubo un sobredimensionamiento innegable.
