Aeron\u00e1utico Ambrosio Taravella\u201d los Grob Aricraft AG, G120TP-A D-ETPG (S\/n 11024) y el G520T Egrett D-FHHH (S\/n 10200) donde realizaron las correspondientes formalidades migratorias y de aduana, tras ello partieron hacia las instalaciones de la Fabrica Argentina de aviones \u00abBrig. San Mart\u00edn\u00bb S.A. donde fueron los protagonistas de una presentaci\u00f3n ante autoridades de la Fuerza A\u00e9rea Argentina (FAA).<\/p>\n<p>En horas de la tarde del 12 de noviembre estas aeronaves arribaron a la Aeroestaci\u00f3n Militar del Aeroparque Jorge Newbery. Por la tarde del d\u00eda siguiente, siguiente fueron presentados a miembros de Fuerzas Armadas y de Seguridad, culminado esto se trasladaron hacia la I Brigada A\u00e9rea de El Palomar.<\/p>\n<p>All\u00ed, por la ma\u00f1ana del s\u00e1bado 14, realizaron una demostraci\u00f3n para miembros de la FAA, en esta oportunidad operaron desde la Terminal de L\u00edneas A\u00e9reas Del Estado (LADE) de la unidad. El G520T estuvo al mando del instructor y piloto de pruebas de Grob Mayor (R) Thomas \u201cTom\u201d Reinert, quien realiz\u00f3 dos vuelos de alrededor de una hora de duraci\u00f3n, uno de ellos con el Brigadier Alejandro An\u00edbal Moressi, Director General de Planes, Programas y Presupuestos<\/p>\n<p>Mientras que el G120TP efectu\u00f3 uno de igual duraci\u00f3n este \u00faltimo con un instructor de la Escuela de Aviaci\u00f3n Militar (EAM). Entre las autoridades presentes tambi\u00e9n se encontraba, el Brigadier Enrique V\u00edctor Amrein, Director General de Educaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Estos Grob en su gira por Latinoam\u00e9rica fueron presentados previamente en Brasil y Paraguay, y luego se su paso por nuestro pa\u00eds, continuar\u00edan haciendo escalas en Chile, Per\u00fa y Ecuador.<\/p>\n<h2>Grob 120TP Desarrollo y T\u00e9cnica<\/h2>\n<p>Nacido como un refinamiento en base al entrenador G-115, el vuelo inicial del prototipo (D-ELHU) tuvo lugar en 1999, inicialmente estuvo motorizado por un Textron Lycoming AEIO-540-D4D5 de 260 HP. A principios de 2010 es introducido al mercado el Grob 120TP, versi\u00f3n propulsada con un turboh\u00e9lice y tren retr\u00e1ctil. Este es un entrenador lado a lado de ala baja mayormente construido con fibra de carbono lo que le confiere un muy bajo peso, esto tambi\u00e9n disminuye los problemas de corrosi\u00f3n, presenta una baja fatiga y facilita la reparaci\u00f3n. El fuselaje posee una longitud de 8,42 m, su altura es 2,64 m, mientras que su envergadura es de 10,31 m y el \u00e1rea de las alas es de 13,52 m2. Cuenta con winglets en sus punteras alares. La c\u00e9lula posee una vida estructural de servicio m\u00ednima de 15.000 horas. Los controles de vuelo son operados por una varilla mientras que los compensadores y los flaps son el\u00e9ctricos.<\/p>\n<p>Dispone de\u00a0un tren triciclo retr\u00e1ctil con una rueda de nariz de 5.00-5 mientras que las del tren principal son de 15\u00d76.0-6.<\/p>\n<p>Es propulsado por un Rolls Royce 250-B17F, que provee un Maximum Continuous Power (MCP) de de 380 SHP\/283 kW y un Maximum Takeoff Power de 450 SHP (limitado a 5 minutos), el r\u00e9gimen de la velocidad del eje es de 2030 RPM, este acciona una h\u00e9lice MTV-5-1-D-C-F-R(A)\/CFR210-56 de cinco palas de velocidad constante con un di\u00e1metro de 2,10 m.<\/p>\n<p>Dispone de una capacidad total de combustible, Jet A-1, de 351 Litros, de los que solo 341,4 Litros son usables, posee un sistema de aceite para vuelo invertido, el m\u00ednimo de este fluido es de 5 Litros y el m\u00e1ximo es de 11 Litros.<\/p>\n<p>El D-ETPG no dispone de asientos eyectables, pero cuenta con las butacas con arn\u00e9s de 5 puntos est\u00e1n certificadas bajo las normas FAR 23, la c\u00fapula se desliza hacia atr\u00e1s por encima del fuselaje y en caso de emergencia se desprende integramente.<\/p>\n<p>En la parte inferior del fuselaje encontramos la mayor\u00eda de las antenas de los equipos de navegaci\u00f3n y comunicaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<div align=\"center\">\n<div class=\"tiled-gallery type-rectangular tiled-gallery-unresized\" data-original-width=\"1140\" data-carousel-extra='{&quot;blog_id&quot;:1,&quot;permalink&quot;:&quot;https:\\\/\\\/www.gacetaeronautica.com\\\/gaceta\\\/wp-101\\\/grob-g120tp-y-g520t-egrett\\\/&quot;,&quot;likes_blog_id&quot;:26943182}' itemscope itemtype=\"http:\/\/schema.org\/ImageGallery\" > <div class=\"gallery-row\" style=\"width: 1140px; height: 377px;\" \/> <\/a> <div class=\"tiled-gallery-caption\" itemprop=\"caption description\"> Rodaje del 120TP en PAL (foto: Guillermo Sentis) <\/div> <\/div> <\/div> <!-- close group --> <\/div> <!-- close row --> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>En lo que respecta a la avi\u00f3nica, sobre la parte central del parasol se encuentra un comp\u00e1s magn\u00e9tico anal\u00f3gico, el resto es full glass cocokpit, compuesto por cuatro pantallas de 6&#215;8 Pulgadas color programables, dos en el puesto del piloto y dos en el de copiloto, una de los cuales es empleada como PFD (Primary Flight Display) mientras que la otra puede ser empleada como MFD (Multi Function Display). Mediante estas se puede obtener informaci\u00f3n de navegaci\u00f3n, moving map, radioayudas, sistemas de la aeronave, par\u00e1metros de motor, incluyendo la funci\u00f3n integrada FMS (Flight Management System) con funciones de navegaci\u00f3n, sistema de alertas de terreno, flight recorder digital, TCAS (Traffic Collision Avoidance System), etc.<\/p>\n<p>En la parte central del tablero se sit\u00faa un Stand By Flight Display con horizonte artificial y alt\u00edmetro, un control panel del equipo de comunicaci\u00f3n UHF, debajo de los anteriores hay un panel de control del piloto autom\u00e1tico, tres warning buttons y la palanca del tren de aterrizaje.<\/p>\n<p>En la parte inferior del tablero, de izquierda a derecha se encuentran el control del sistema de ventilaci\u00f3n, el panel del sistema de iluminaci\u00f3n interna y externa, el freno de estacionamiento, el panel del sistema el\u00e9ctrico, el panel del sistema de combustible, el panel de sistema de climatizaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Por debajo de lo anterior se encuentran los fusibles de los distintos sistemas.<\/p>\n<p>El pedestal central aloja al panel de control de flaps, la llave de combustible, el mando de potencia, mando de RPMs de la h\u00e9lice y el panel de compensadores.<\/p>\n<p>En cuanto a las prestaciones, posee una altitud m\u00e1xima de operaci\u00f3n, en categor\u00eda utilitaria, de 25.000 Ft (7.620 m) y 20.000 Ft (6.096 m) en acrob\u00e1tica.<\/p>\n<p>Est\u00e1 certificado para factores de carga de +6\/-4 G con flaps adentro y 0\/+3.8G (flaps abajo) en categor\u00eda acrob\u00e1tica, mientras que en la utilitaria, con flaps arriba es de -1,76\/+4,4 G y 0\/+3,8 G con flaps abajo.<\/p>\n<p>Los pesos m\u00e1ximos, categor\u00eda utilitaria son, para el despegue 1.515 Kg y para el aterrizaje 1.440 Kg, mientras que en la categor\u00eda acrob\u00e1tica, 1.440 Kg tanto para despegue como aterrizaje. El peso m\u00e1ximo admitido para los tripulantes es de 225 Kg, el peso admitido para el compartimiento de carga es de 50 Kg.<\/p>\n<p>Las distancias de despegue y aterrizaje (a nivel del mar y con atm\u00f3sfera est\u00e1ndar), distancia de despegue sobre 50 Ft (15,240 m), (con peso m\u00e1ximo de despegue, sin viento, sin pendiente y en categor\u00eda utilitario) es de 338 m, la distancia de aterrizaje sobre 50 Ft, (con las mismas condiciones ya citadas) es de 467 m.<\/p>\n<p>La velocidad m\u00e1xima de crucero (en categor\u00eda utilitaria, a nivel del mar y con MCP) es de 218 Nudos (403,736 Km\/h), con los mismos par\u00e1metros pero a 10.000 Pies (3.048 m) la velocidad m\u00e1xima de crucero es de 237 Nudos (438,924 m), el r\u00e9gimen de ascenso (con MCP, en categor\u00eda acrob\u00e1tica y a nivel del mar) es de 2.978 Ft\/m, (807,69 m\/min).<\/p>\n<p>El alcance (en atm\u00f3sfera est\u00e1ndar, con MTOW, con 45 minutos de combustible de reserva, 230 Kg de combustible usable y en categor\u00eda utilitaria) a 5.000 Ft (1524 m) y 75 % de MCP, es de 460 NM (851,92 Km), a 10.000 Ft con 45 % de MCP, es de 580 NM (1.074,16 Km).<\/p>\n<h2>G520T Egrett Desarrollo y T\u00e9cnica<\/h2>\n<p>Esta aeronave fue originalmente desarrollada por Grob Flugzeugbau GmbH &amp; Co KG y la empresa americana E-Systems Inc. y Garret, (luego Allied Signal), de all\u00ed su nombre que es el acr\u00f3nimo Egrett. Con este se pretend\u00eda lograr una plataforma de reconocimiento a gran altura y autonom\u00eda de bajo costo para la US Air Force (USAF) y la Luftwaffe. Tras ello los monoplazas fueron empleados como plataformas de investigaci\u00f3n de gran altura. Los \u00faltimas dos ejemplares fueron usados con prop\u00f3sitos promocionales por E-Systems y Grob, la primera con m\u00faltiples paquetes de sensores, mientras que la firma alemana lo rebautiz\u00f3 como Strato 1 ofreci\u00e9ndolo como plataforma para la administraci\u00f3n de recursos para el mercado civil.<\/p>\n<p>Actualmente, Grob se encuentra ofreciendo una versi\u00f3n denominada G 520 NG que a diferencia de los anteriores contar\u00e1 con avi\u00f3nica modernizada para ser empleado como plataforma para aplicaciones OPV\/UAV (Optionally Piloted Vehicle\/Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) con capacidad para la operaci\u00f3n en pistas cortas, aprobado para operaciones full IFR (Instrument Flight Rules) y de engelamiento de acuerdo a las regulaciones LBA\/FAA Part 23.<\/p>\n<p>Es un monomotor enteramente construido en materiales compuestos en configuraci\u00f3n tandem. La secci\u00f3n de cabina es presurizada y climatizada, la versi\u00f3n que nos visit\u00f3 es la de entrenamiento, por lo que est\u00e1 configurado con controles duales. Sin embargo este puede ser ofrecido con un puesto delantero destinado para el piloto y el trasero para un operador de sensores, tambi\u00e9n existe una versi\u00f3n monoplaza. Detr\u00e1s de la cabina se ubica la Aircraft Avionic Bay, por debajo y detr\u00e1s de la cual se encuentran las Upper Forward Equipment Bay (izquierda y derecha), la Upper Middle Equipment Bay (izquierda y derecha), la Upper Aft Equipment Bay (izquierda y derecha). En la parte inferior del fuselaje, de adelante hacia atr\u00e1s se sit\u00faan la, Lower Far Forward Equipment Bay (izquierdo y derecho), la Lower Forward Equipment Bay (izquierdo y derecho), la Lower Middle Equipment Bay (izquierda y derecha), la Special Mission Equipment Bay o \u201cU Bay\u201d y la Lower Alter Equipment Bay (derecho e izquierda). Entre todas estas se totaliza un volumen de la carga de 3,84 m3, admitiendo un peso de la misma de hasta 1.145 Kg. Algunas de estas bah\u00edas modulares pueden ser r\u00e1pidamente intercambiadas por otras con distintos sensores adecu\u00e1ndose a la misi\u00f3n a realizar. La bater\u00eda de sensores que puede portar incluye, un radar de apertura sint\u00e9tica, sensores \u00f3pticos, FLIR, antenas para SIGINT, SATCOM, data link, sensores para aplicaciones civiles, etc.<\/p>\n<p>Como opcional se puede incorporar un radomo inferior para una antena.<\/p>\n<p>La cabina presurizada cuenta con un espacio adicional de 1,35 m3 capaz de alojar equipamiento sensible de misi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Como si todo esto no fuera suficiente se puede adicionar m\u00e1s espacio con una prolongaci\u00f3n del fuselaje por detr\u00e1s de la cabina y prolongaciones laterales cortas y largas en los laterales de las bah\u00edas de carga, como as\u00ed tambi\u00e9n pods con carga en dos estaciones subalares para equipamiento, en esta oportunidad el D-FHHH estaba configurado un radar meteorol\u00f3gico bajo el ala derecha.<\/p>\n<p>Su ala de gran envergadura es de implantaci\u00f3n media aloja a los alerones y flaps. El conjunto de cola es de configuraci\u00f3n convencional con tim\u00f3n de direcci\u00f3n y profundidad. Cuenta con una superficie de compensaci\u00f3n en el tim\u00f3n de direcci\u00f3n y en el tim\u00f3n de profundidad izquierdo.<\/p>\n<p>Dispone de un tren triciclo, la pata de nariz con un solo neum\u00e1tico se retrae al interior del fuselaje mientras que las patas del tren principal, tambi\u00e9n con un solo neum\u00e1tico lo hacen dentro de dos carenados, uno ubicado en cada ala.<\/p>\n<p>Est\u00e1 propulsado por un Honeywell TPE-331-14 de 750 SHP de Maximum Continuous Power (MCP) con un gran escape de gases situado en el lateral izquierdo, este impulsa una h\u00e9lice Hartzell de cuatro palas.<\/p>\n<p>En lo que respecta a la avi\u00f3nica la misma es mayormente anal\u00f3gica, en el sector izquierdo del tablero se sit\u00faan los paneles de control de los equipos de comunicaciones, transponder, dispone de un MFD Nav\/Comm que parece ser de la firma Garmin. En la parte central se encuentran un indicador de potencia, horizonte artificial, alt\u00edmetro, RMI, HSI, vari\u00f3metro, ADF, indicador de giros y ladeos, reloj y horizonte artificial y alt\u00edmetro stand by. Debajo de ellos se sit\u00faa un MFD que estimamos es el encargado de representar la informaci\u00f3n del radar meteorol\u00f3gico. Debajo de ellos hay otros paneles de control que no pudimos individualizar y un Remote Switch de la baliza ELT. Sobre el sector derecho se sit\u00faan los instrumentos de motor. Tambi\u00e9n dispon\u00eda de un soporte para tablet o IPad como apoyo a los instrumentos de navegaci\u00f3n.
