Si bien es un lugar com\u00fan el que \u00abac\u00e1 no pasa nada\u00bb, una revisi\u00f3n de novedades da cuenta de bastante actividad en el sector aeromilitar argentino. Nada comparado con los planes \u00abfara\u00f3nicos\u00bb que se aprecian en otras naciones de la regi\u00f3n tales como Brasil, Venezuela o Colombia; pero de todos modos interesante para continuar alimentando nuestro conocimiento hist\u00f3rico sobre la aeron\u00e1utica militar argentina.<\/p>\n<h3><b>Ceremonia en el Edificio Condor<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>Entre los eventos dignos de destacar, rescatamos la ceremonia del <strong>97o. aniversario de la Fuerza A\u00e9rea Argentina<\/strong> (FAA) que se realiz\u00f3 en el helipuerto del Edificio C\u00f3ndor el 10 de agosto. En los discursos, las autoridades afirmaron que se trabaja en la recuperaci\u00f3n de la cadena log\u00edstica de los A-4AR Fighting Hawk, la instalaci\u00f3n de radares Bendix donados por Espa\u00f1a a partir de 2010, la prestaci\u00f3n de servicios de mantenimiento para la Armada (patrulleros P-3 Orion) y el Ej\u00e9rcito (helic\u00f3pteros UH-1H Huey) en las \u00e1rea de material Quilmes y R\u00edo Cuarto, la adquisici\u00f3n de un Bell 212 para la VII Brigada A\u00e9rea (VII Br A\u00e9) y la ampliaci\u00f3n de las capacidades de la flota del Grupo de Guerra Electr\u00f3nica.<\/p>\n<p>El <b>desfile a\u00e9reo<\/b> fue solo un poco menos augusto que el del a\u00f1o pasado (v\u00e9ase\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/aeromilitaria.gacetaeronautica.com\/blogs\/2009\/0216\/index.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u00abAniversario en Retiro&#8230;\u00bb<\/a>) y cont\u00f3 con la participaci\u00f3n de un KC-130H Hercules (TC-70) y tres A-4AR Fighting Hawk (C-905, C-909 y C-935). En tierra se exhib\u00edan el \u00abHalc\u00f3n Errante\u00bb (A-4P Skyhawk C-240), la mock-up del IA-63 Pampa (EX-03 \u00abGato\u00bb) y el Bl\u00e9riot XI del Museo Nacional de Aeron\u00e1utica. La noticias m\u00e1s sorprendente, sin embargo, correspondi\u00f3 al anuncio de que el monoplano Bl\u00e9riot XI ser\u00e1 retornado a condici\u00f3n de vuelo para celebrar el Bicentenario de la Revoluci\u00f3n de Mayo en 2010&#8230; Ballestra\u00bb<\/strong> que la Prefectura Naval posee en Puerto Nuevo (Ciudad de Buenos Aires). Los incidentes se iniciaron luego que un funcionario de la Prefectura repeliera el intento de asalto de dos mujeres j\u00f3venes residentes en la Villa 31, pr\u00f3xima al helipuerto, matando a una y dejando a la otra malherida. El conflicto, que se prolong\u00f3 casi toda la jornada, termin\u00f3 con tres atacantes detenidos, varios guardacostas heridos, una garita de guardia quemada y varios de los helic\u00f3pteros residentes (el Puma PA-11 y los Dauphins PA-41 y PA-42) evacuados a San Fernando (B.A.) para evitar mayores da\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<p>En el terreno de las flotas a\u00e9reas, la principal novedad es que la Fuerza A\u00e9rea complet\u00f3 la incorporaci\u00f3n de los cuatro <strong>Saab SF-340B<\/strong> que se adquirieron el a\u00f1o pasado. En el mes de junio, fuentes europeas pudieron comprobar que un <strong>AS.332B Super Puma<\/strong> (A-526\/72 \u00abTeniente Merani\u00bb) se encontraba en recorrida mayor y rehabilitaci\u00f3n por la firma H\u00e9li-Union, con sede en Toussus Le Noble (Francia). Y, luego de tres a\u00f1os fuera de servicio, el primer <strong>OV-1D Mohawk<\/strong> rehabilitado en Campo de Mayo (B.A.) por la firma norteamericana Mohawk Tech (AE-039) volvi\u00f3 a condici\u00f3n de vuelo el 25 de agosto.<\/p>\n<p>La Armada, por su parte, contin\u00faa avanzando en la recomposici\u00f3n de la l\u00ednea de vuelo de la Segunda Escuadrilla Aeronaval de Helic\u00f3pteros (EA2H), que a fines de agosto dispon\u00eda de un inventario integrado por cinco ejemplares de la familia <strong>Sikorsky Sea King<\/strong>: Un S-61D (adquirido a Sikorsky en la d\u00e9cada de 1970), dos ASH-3H (comprados a Agusta en la d\u00e9cada de 1980) y tres UH-3H (cedidos recientemente por la armada norteamericana). La recomposici\u00f3n de flota de la EA2H se completar\u00eda de aqu\u00ed a fin de a\u00f1o con la entrega de un cuarto UH-3H proveniente de EE.UU.<\/p>\n<p>La \u00abcereza de la torta\u00bb, sin embargo, corresponde a la flota presidencial. En una movida anticipada por varios observadores, la Agrupaci\u00f3n A\u00e9rea Presidencial acaba de hacerse de un segundo helic\u00f3ptero <strong>S-76B Spirit<\/strong>. Imitando una maniobra de la administraci\u00f3n Menem, el aparato ingres\u00f3 al pa\u00eds de manera temporal mientras el primer ejemplar del modelo (H-02, c\/n 760337) se somet\u00eda a mantenimiento mayor. Tras poco m\u00e1s de dos a\u00f1os operando con matr\u00edcula civil norteamericana, el aparato (H-03, c\/n 760361) fue adquirido mediante la contrataci\u00f3n directa 35\/2009 junto con dos motores Pratt &amp; Whitney Canada PT6B-36B. Confirmando la novedad, su matricula civil (N7620S) fue cancelada del registro de aeronaves de los EE.UU. el 26 de junio a ra\u00edz de su \u00abexportaci\u00f3n a Argentina\u00bb.<\/p>\n<h3><b>Argentinos en la di\u00e1spora<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>Desde Gran Breta\u00f1a, llegan novedades sobre tres aeronaves argentinas, veteranas malvinenes, que acabaron en poder del enemigo de 1982. La primera es que el helic\u00f3ptero <strong>Aerospatiale Puma<\/strong> ZE449, un SA-330L construido inicialmente para la Prefectura Naval y convertido en Puma HC.1 por la Royal Air Force, se accident\u00f3 en Kenia el 2 de julio. El aparato acababa de terminar su segundo tour de servicio en Iraq, fue trasladado a Kenia y sufri\u00f3 una falla del tren principal mientras aterrizaba en alg\u00fan lugar de esa naci\u00f3n africana. La m\u00e1quina volc\u00f3 al tocar tierra, provocando heridas de consideraci\u00f3n desconocida a uno de sus tripulantes, y sufri\u00f3 da\u00f1os que exigieron su traslado de regreso a la metr\u00f3poli, donde tal vez sea reparado&#8230; Despu\u00e9s de 27 a\u00f1os al servicio del ej\u00e9rcito de su majestad, el modelo fue reemplazado por el AS365N3 Dauphin y ambos ejemplares argentinos (ZE410 ex AE-334 y ZE411 ex AE-331) pasaron a retiro el 12 de junio. Fuentes generalmente bien informadas afirman que alguno de esos aparatos podr\u00eda ser preservado en el Museum of Army Flying de Middle Wallop o en el aer\u00f3dromo de Credenhill, desde el cual operaban hasta mediados de a\u00f1o.<\/p>\n<p>Y desde los EE.UU., por su parte, nos llegan informaciones que dan cuenta de la participaci\u00f3n del <strong>F-86F Sabre<\/strong> NX188RL en la \u00faltima convenci\u00f3n en vuelo de la Experimental Aircraft Association realizada en Oshkosh, Wisconsin. El aparato oper\u00f3 por m\u00e1s de 25 a\u00f1os con la IV Brigada A\u00e9rea de Mendoza y, tras su regreso a los EE.UU., fue repintado como el ejemplar con el que John Glenn (infante de marina, astronauta y pol\u00edtico dem\u00f3crata) derrib\u00f3 tres cazas durante la Guerra de Corea.
