Desde hace a\u00f1os las empresas que ahora constituyen Airbus Group, vienen d\u00e1ndole firme pelea a las compa\u00f1\u00edas norteamericanas otrora con pocos competidores a la vista e instaladas muy c\u00f3modamente en Latinoam\u00e9rica. La europea tambi\u00e9n ha sabido defender sus cuotas en el mercado latinoamericano frente a ofertas de rusos y chinos.<\/p>\n<p>Con el correr de los a\u00f1os el grupo ha ido ampliando su operatoria en la regi\u00f3n, llegando a la situaci\u00f3n actual que comprende diecisiete sitios en siete pa\u00edses diferentes (Argentina, Brasil, Chile, Colombia, El Salvador, M\u00e9xico y Per\u00fa), donde el grupo emplea cerca de 1.000 personas. La europea tiene muy buena llegada en la regi\u00f3n a trav\u00e9s de sus empresas espa\u00f1ola, con indudables lazos hist\u00f3ricos con Latinoam\u00e9rica.<\/p>\n<p>La cartera de pedidos en la regi\u00f3n completa supera los 450 aviones, siendo LATAM Airlines Group uno de los mayores clientes, con m\u00e1s de 100 \u00f3rdenes de aviones en firme, seguida muy de cerca por Avianca.<\/p>\n<h2>El A350 Extra Wide Body en FIDAE<\/h2>\n<p>Los visitantes de FIDAE est\u00e1n acostumbrados a ver novedades de la fabricante europea de airliners. Airbus no defrauda, trayendo a Chile edici\u00f3n tras edici\u00f3n, alg\u00fan avi\u00f3n de demostraci\u00f3n, cosa que la competencia no siempre hace.<\/p>\n<p>En esta ocasi\u00f3n vemos en Merino Ben\u00edtez al avi\u00f3n comercial m\u00e1s moderno de Airbus, el A350 XWB. La m\u00e1quina hace su debut en la feria con una exhibici\u00f3n est\u00e1tica y vuelos de demostraci\u00f3n desde el 29 de marzo al 01 de abril (lleg\u00f3 a El Pudahuel el 28 de Marzo). Tras su entrada en servicio hace ya un a\u00f1o, el A350 XWB est\u00e1 demostrando cumplir con las expectativas de eficiencia y confort auguradas para el mercado de los aviones de fuselaje ancho y tama\u00f1o medio.<\/p>\n<p>En la regi\u00f3n LATAM recibi\u00f3 el primero de 27 aviones A350 WXB en diciembre de 2015 y ya opera dos. Gracias a ello, TAM (que es qui\u00e9n lo vuela) se convirti\u00f3 en el primer operador americano en volar esta m\u00e1quina. La empresa continua recibiendo las nuevas aeronaves de fuselaje ancho, y espera para el pr\u00f3ximo mes de Junio de 2016 al que ser\u00e1 el cuarto avi\u00f3n de la flota ya pintado con el nuevo esquema de colores de LATAM. Dicha maquina se espera comience a operar comercialmente el pr\u00f3ximo mes de Julio. Algunas de ellas ya est\u00e1n en operaci\u00f3n en el continente, como las de transporte t\u00e1ctico y patrulla mar\u00edtima. Otras pueden resultar de inter\u00e9s para los actuales o nuevos operadores del avi\u00f3n C295. Airbus Defence and Space est\u00e1 desarrollando nuevas versiones de ISR para la vigilancia terrestre, electr\u00f3nica o a\u00e9rea (AEW&amp;C) as\u00ed como versiones de operaciones especiales y soporte cercano a tierra, as\u00ed como de reabastecimiento de helic\u00f3pteros o de extinci\u00f3n de incendios.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Por lo que respecta la presencia de estas versiones en la regi\u00f3n, adem\u00e1s de los tres C295 ASW de Chile, hemos vendido tres C295 SAR a la Fuerza A\u00e9rea Brasile\u00f1a. No descartamos a medio plazo que pueda haber pedidos adicionales por parte de ambos clientes. Adem\u00e1s hay varios pa\u00edses m\u00e1s que se han interesado por el C295W como plataforma para misiones de Vigilancia y Patrulla Mar\u00edtima.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>En referencia al A330MRTT, Christophe Roux asever\u00f3 que:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>Am\u00e9rica Latina se posiciona como un mercado pujante y que presenta grandes oportunidades. En la actualidad, el mercado de aviones tanqueros multiprop\u00f3sito de nueva generaci\u00f3n est\u00e1 muy activo, y con un volumen total en torno a los 100 aviones, excluyendo EEUU. Gracias a la mayor capacidad del A330 MRTT, su versatilidad y la experiencia en servicio de nuestros clientes actuales, confiamos en seguir manteniendo la posici\u00f3n de liderazgo en todo el mundo. Sin embargo el mercado de aviones tanqueros es muy particular en Latinoam\u00e9rica y de momento no hay demanda a corto plazo para aviones como el A330MRTT.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Finalmente realiz\u00f3 interesante\u201d declaraciones sobre el A400 y las posibilidades de verlo volando en alguna fuerza de la regi\u00f3n:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>El A400M es la plataforma perfecta para las operaciones en Ant\u00e1rtida. Es un avi\u00f3n que puede cubrir perfectamente las necesidades futuras de transporte estrat\u00e9gico-t\u00e1ctico pesado de varios pa\u00edses latinoamericanos. Teniendo en cuenta esto, as\u00ed como la antig\u00fcedad de las flotas de C-130 que operan en la regi\u00f3n, creemos que las capacidades adicionales que el A400M puede ofrecer despertar\u00e1n el inter\u00e9s de determinados pa\u00edses de la regi\u00f3n. De hecho ya hay varios que han mostrado algo m\u00e1s que inter\u00e9s y creemos que hay interesantes posibilidades a medio y largo plazo.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, en el sector espacial, la compa\u00f1\u00eda europea ha construido los dos sistemas de observaci\u00f3n de La Tierra m\u00e1s poderosos de Am\u00e9rica Latina: El SSOT, tambi\u00e9n conocido como FASat-Charlie de la Fuerza A\u00e9rea Chilena, y m\u00e1s recientemente, la compa\u00f1\u00eda ha sido seleccionada como el contratista para desarrollar, construir y lanzar el primer sistema satelital \u00f3ptico de observaci\u00f3n de La Tierra de Per\u00fa. Por otra parte tambien coment\u00f3 que el centro de simulacion de vuelo que dispone la empresa en Brasil, ya ha dado formacion a m\u00e1s de 150 pilotos de helic\u00f3ptero.<\/p>\n<h2>El grupo Airbus en cifras<\/h2>\n<p>Repasar los n\u00fameros del fabricante europeo siempre es apabullante, aunque no por ello menos interesante. Airbus Group es una empresa aeroespacial global suministradora de equipos y servicios aeron\u00e1uticos, de espacio y relacionados para los sectores civil y militar. En 2015, el grupo, o lo que es lo mismo: Airbus, Airbus Defence and Space y Airbus Helicopters, generaron ingresos por la friolera de 64.500 millones de euros y empleando a m\u00e1s de 136.600 personas.
