M\u00e1s all\u00e1 de las primeras comunicaciones, que daban cuenta de una\u00a0reducida\u00a0lista\u00a0de aeronaves de la Fuerza A\u00e9rea de Chile (FACH) que participar\u00e1n\u00a0del show a\u00e9reo\u00a0el fin de semana, la n\u00f3mina de asistentes comenz\u00f3 a ponerse interesante\u00a0con la revelaci\u00f3n\u00a0de que cinco n\u00fameros\u00a0acrob\u00e1ticos y tres de paracaidistas de demostraci\u00f3n\u00a0estar\u00edan presentes en Pudahuel.<\/p>\n<p>Tras su forzada ausencia en la edici\u00f3n de 2014, regresar\u00edan\u00a0las formaciones\u00a0militares de\u00a0Chile, <strong>Halcones<\/strong>, y Brasil, <strong>Esquadrilha da Fuma\u00e7a<\/strong>; esta \u00faltima re-equipada con entrenadores EMB-314 Super Tucano (A-29 seg\u00fan\u00a0la designaci\u00f3n de la For\u00e7a A\u00e9rea Brasileira). (foto: Carlos Ay). <\/div> <\/div> <\/div> <!-- close group --> <\/div> <!-- close row --> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Despu\u00e9s de ese\u00a0inicio de mes, el cual promet\u00eda dar gran impulso a\u00a0la revelaci\u00f3n de nuevos participantes, la siguiente\u00a0semana de marzo estuvo bastante tranquila y las \u00fanicas novedades que registramos fueron\u00a0las confirmaciones oficiales de la presencia de los\u00a0jets ejecutivos\u00a0<strong>Cessna<\/strong> Citation Latitude\u00a0(debutante que entr\u00f3 en producci\u00f3n en febrero de 2015) y <strong>Gulfstream<\/strong> G280 y G450 y del deportivo liviano <strong>Pipistrel<\/strong> Virus SW.\u00a0Desde la siempre efervescente\u00a0Provincia de C\u00f3rdoba (Argentina), por su parte, nos llegaron\u00a0comentarios que indicaban que <strong>FAdeA<\/strong>\u00a0se presentar\u00eda en un stand mostrando s\u00f3lo maquetas de\u00a0su \u00faltimo proyecto,\u00a0el entrenador deportivo liviano IA-100 (v\u00e9ase <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gacetaeronautica.com\/gaceta\/wp-101\/?p=14526\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">\u00abFAdeA IA-100\u00bb<\/a>), y del entrenador y caza liviano IA-63 Pampa.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Lunes 21\u00a0de marzo (Semana -1)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>A ocho d\u00edas\u00a0de la inauguraci\u00f3n del martes 29, la lista de participantes segu\u00eda\u00a0creciendo con nuevas confirmaciones oficiales y otros tantos\u00a0rumores del ambiente aeron\u00e1utico.\u00a0<strong>Airbus<\/strong> inici\u00f3 la segunda semana del mes\u00a0anunciando la llegada de un A350 XWB\u00a0y un A400M de la <strong>Real Fuerza A\u00e9rea Brit\u00e1nica<\/strong>, los que propon\u00edan un nuevo debutante y el regreso de la escarapela azul y roja del Reino Unido,\u00a0ausente desde 2008, a la feria. Al anunciar estas novedades,\u00a0<strong>Rafael Alonso<\/strong>, presidente de Airbus para Am\u00e9rica Latina y El Caribe, afirm\u00f3\u00a0que <em>\u201cla regi\u00f3n tiene un tremendo\u00a0potencial para el desarrollo de rutas adicionales de largo alcance y \u2013 con el A350 XWB operando actualmente en\u00a0<\/em><em>la zona \u2013 es el avi\u00f3n perfecto para exhibir en FIDAE\u201d<\/em>.\u00a0Observadores locales reportaron\u00a0tambi\u00e9n la llegada de la primera c\u00e9lula que se presentar\u00eda en FIDAE 2016: Se tratar\u00eda de una maqueta escala 1:1 del m\u00e1s moderno proyecto de <strong>Bell Helicopter<\/strong>, el Model 505 Jet Ranger X, que se presentar\u00eda por segunda vez en la exposici\u00f3n,\u00a0a\u00fan\u00a0sin estar en condiciones de mostrarse en vuelo\u00a0(v\u00e9ase \u00ab<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gacetaeronautica.com\/gaceta\/wp-101\/?p=8521\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Bell Helicopter escucha a un mercado relevante en FIDAE 2014<\/a>\u00ab).<\/p>\n<p>Esa\u00a0semana tambi\u00e9n\u00a0se realiz\u00f3 una conferencia de prensa en la que los organizadores revelaron\u00a0que la feria registraba <strong>550 expositores<\/strong> confirmados provenientes de\u00a0<strong>50\u00a0naciones<\/strong> diferentes, incluyendo debutantes de <em>\u00abM\u00e9xico, El Salvador, Emiratos \u00c1rabes Unidos,\u00a0Panam\u00e1, Nueva Zelanda y Venezuela\u00bb<\/em> (aunque las \u00faltimas dos en realidad repetir\u00edan\u00a0su presencia de 2010, v\u00e9ase <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gacetaeronautica.com\/gaceta\/wp-101\/?p=1864\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">\u00abFIDAE 2010: Una feria especial\u00bb<\/a>). Estos n\u00fameros, adicionalmente, proyectaban un aumento del\u00a012% en la cantidad de pa\u00edses participantes\u00a0respecto de 2014 y una ca\u00edda del 6% en la cantidad de expositores. Tambi\u00e9n pudimos presenciar la llegada de <strong>aeronaves no anticipadas<\/strong> en ediciones anteriores de esta nota, tales como los\u00a0Super Tucanos de la FACH, el G-120TP de\u00a0Grob, las delegaciones\u00a0de los clubes a\u00e9reos de Santiago y el Personal del Ej\u00e9rcito\u00a0o\u00a0el C295MPA Persuader de la Armada de Chile (\u00a1despu\u00e9s de seis a\u00f1os esper\u00e1ndolo en esta muestra!).<\/p>\n<p>Pero los \u00abingredientes del plato fuerte\u00bb de la feria se hicieron presentes\u00a0reci\u00e9n\u00a0el domingo 28, cuando el\u00a0aeropuerto santiaguino\u00a0presenci\u00f3 la llegada\u00a0de la delegaci\u00f3n militar norteamericana: Dos F-22 Raptor provenientes de la base a\u00e9rea de Langley, en las afueras de Washington, acompa\u00f1ados por un KC-10A Extender, dos C-130 Hercules de la Guardia A\u00e9rea Nacional y no menos de tres\u00a0C-17 Globemaster IIIs que tocaron tierra con las\u00a0\u00faltimas luces\u00a0del d\u00eda. Si bien\u00a0hubo varias jornadas en las que, una vez retirada la neblina, el sol y el cielo brillaban, la meteorolog\u00eda general fue bastante adversa para los fot\u00f3grafos y, ocasionalmente, hasta para las demostraciones en vuelo. A pesar de ello, el <strong>d\u00eda de la prensa<\/strong> se desarroll\u00f3 con total normalidad y, tras la neblina, conferencia y \u00e1gape de costumbre, el cielo se despej\u00f3 y los medios presentes en Pudahuel tuvimos oportunidad de recorrer las instalaciones de la feria y la exposici\u00f3n est\u00e1tica de aeronaves, como as\u00ed tambi\u00e9n presenciar las \u00faltimas demostraciones a\u00e9reas previas a la inauguraci\u00f3n: Escuadrillas Halcones, Hangar del Cielo y RV Team Chile, F-22 Raptor, KT-1P Torito, C-27J Spartan, Extra 300L de\u00a0Bolton Aerobatics, Pipistrel Virus y los ya mencionados representantes de la FACH.<\/p>\n<p>Enmarcada por la neblina matinal (y un cielo que no logr\u00f3\u00a0librarse\u00a0de una pertinaz capa de nubes durante el resto del d\u00eda), el martes 29 a las 10:00 hs. se dio inicio a\u00a0la <strong>ceremonia inaugural<\/strong> de la feria, encabezada por la Presidente de la Rep\u00fablica, Michelle Bachellet Jeria, y su ministro de defensa,\u00a0Jos\u00e9 Antonio G\u00f3mez Urrutia. Terminadas la ceremonia y la visita presidencial a la muestra, la feria qued\u00f3 abierta a otros\u00a0visitantes VIP que acudieron a Pudahuel en representaci\u00f3n de naciones tan distantes como los Emiratos \u00c1rabes Unidos, Gran Breta\u00f1a, Malasia, Centroam\u00e9rica o China. A mediod\u00eda, finalmente, las puertas se abrieron para el p\u00fablico profesional, delegaciones especiales y asistentes a los seminarios y conferencias que comenzaron a desarrollarse ese mismo d\u00eda en FIDAE 2016.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Las aeronaves participantes<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>La siguiente tabla proporciona detalles\u00a0de las\u00a0aeronaves que, seg\u00fan anuncios oficiales de la feria y\u00a0nuestras propias investigaciones u observaciones en la muestra, hicieron o har\u00edan\u00a0acto de presencia en\u00a0la XIX Feria Internacional del Aire y el Espacio. Con todas las\u00a0actualizaciones incoporadas\u00a0hasta el s\u00e1bado 2\u00a0de abril (inclusive), el listado supera\u00a0las 150\u00a0aeronaves participantes (sin incluir las tres que no se han hecho presentes a\u00fan). Esto coloca\u00a0a FIDAE 2016 un 6% por encima de la cantidad de aeronaves observadas en FIDAE 2014 y apenas un 4% bajo la feria m\u00e1s voluminosa de la \u00abera Pudahuel\u00bb (FIDAE 2006).<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s de indicar fechas de llegada o confirmaci\u00f3n, marcas especial y t\u00edtulos, el listado se\u00f1ala aquellas que participaron de\u00a0las demostraciones en vuelo.
