De a poco, la sala de recepci\u00f3n se fue poblando con la llegada de representantes de la prensa, autoridades y agregados militares extranjeros; ya que posteriormente ser\u00edamos embarcados en el F.28 Fellowship TC-55, perteneciente a la I Brigada A\u00e9rea, que ser\u00eda el encargado de efectuar el vuelo de traslado hacia la VII Brigada.<\/p>\n<p>Mientras esper\u00e1bamos nuestro Fellowship, que proven\u00eda de El Palomar, se produjo el arribo a la plataforma militar del Hughes 500D PGH-03. Posteriormente, ambas aeronaves despegaron para dirigirse a Moreno. La llegada del TC-55, de hecho, coincidi\u00f3 con el despegue de un UH-1H Huey del Comando de Aviaci\u00f3n del Ej\u00e9rcito que hab\u00eda transportado\u00a0hasta ah\u00ed a autoridades del Batall\u00f3n de Helic\u00f3pteros de Asalto 601.<\/p>\n<p>En la plataforma de la otrora VIII Brigada A\u00e9rea, que albergara a los Mirage IIIEA\/DA, ahora se encontraban alineados los helic\u00f3pteros CH-47C Chinook H-93, los UH-1H Huey H-10 y H-16 y los Hughes 500D \u201cAvispa\u201d H-39 y H-40. Otra de las aeronaves de la Fuerza A\u00e9rea Argentina (FAA) all\u00ed presente era el PA-28 Dakota PG-441 perteneciente al Instituto Nacional de Aviaci\u00f3n Civil (INAC), con t\u00edtulos conmemorativos por los 20 a\u00f1os de servicio de ese sistema dentro de la FAA. Como si todo esto fuera poco, tambi\u00e9n pudimos apreciar la llegada del Bell 222 LV-WNP del cual descendieron algunos invitados especiales.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Ceremonia en la plaza de armas<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Posteriormente fuimos trasladados hacia la plaza de armas de la unidad, donde se encontraban formados los efectivos que tomar\u00edan parte del acto. All\u00ed tambi\u00e9n se dispuso al <strong>Bell 212 IFR H-88<\/strong> con un ploteo alusivo a esta ocasi\u00f3n. Este consist\u00eda en una cheat line con los colores nacionales y una gran escarapela que ocupaba casi la totalidad del portal\u00f3n, con los t\u00edtulos <strong>\u201cBell 212, 30 A\u00f1os, 1978-2008\u201d<\/strong>, en el lateral izquierdo de la aeronave. Ambos se instalaron en el palco de autoridades, donde ya se encontraban presentes el Segundo Comandante Operacional del Estado Mayor Conjunto, <strong>Brigadier Mayor Ignacio Rafael M\u00e1rquez<\/strong>, el Comandante de Operaciones A\u00e9reas, <strong>Brigadier Carlos Perona<\/strong>, ex jefes de brigada y de grupos, autoridades del Ejercito Argentino, la Gendarmer\u00eda Nacional y la Prefectura Naval , el intendente municipal de San Miguel, <strong>Mart\u00edn de La Torre<\/strong>, representantes de Modena Helic\u00f3pteros y otras empresas e invitados especiales. Tras entonarse el himno nacional, se realiz\u00f3 una invocaci\u00f3n religiosa a cargo del capell\u00e1n de la unidad y el Comodoro Vergara hizo uso de la palabra, destacando los siguientes conceptos:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00abHoy la VII Brigada A\u00e9rea hace un alto en sus tareas habituales para celebrar los 30 a\u00f1os de la incorporaci\u00f3n de los helic\u00f3pteros Bell 212 IFR a las filas de la instituci\u00f3n. La Fuerza A\u00e9rea Argentina incorpora en el a\u00f1o 1978 los helic\u00f3pteros Bell 212 a su inventario, adquiriendo ocho unidades de la versi\u00f3n IFR, estos helic\u00f3pteros recibieron la matricula H-81 al H-88, siendo destinados al Escuadr\u00f3n I junto a los Bell UH-1H.\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u00abEst\u00e1n aqu\u00ed junto a nosotros, el personal t\u00e9cnico y los pilotos que se encargaron de realizar los cursos de mantenimiento y de vuelo en este sistema de armas, muy novedoso para la Fuerza A\u00e9rea de aquel entonces, por sus singulares caracter\u00edsticas de operaci\u00f3n, en condiciones meteorol\u00f3gicas instrumentales, por su gran maniobrabilidad y versatilidad, conformando una aeronave por dem\u00e1s confiable y segura ante nuestra actividad de vuelo.\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u00abDesde la incorporaci\u00f3n de\u00a0los helic\u00f3pteros Bell 212 hasta el d\u00eda de la fecha se alcanzaron un total de <strong>45.650 horas de vuelo<\/strong> surcando los cielos de la patria y tambi\u00e9n en los cielos del exterior, posicionando a esta unidad de combate en el selecto grupo que operaban equipamiento de primer nivel tecnol\u00f3gico. Brea). <\/div> <\/div> <\/div> <!-- close group --> <\/div> <!-- close row --> <\/div>\n<p><em>\u00abLos helic\u00f3pteros Bell 212 han realizado una gran variedad de operaciones a\u00e9reas en diferentes escenarios, a saber: Al poco tiempo de su llegada hombres y helic\u00f3pteros fueron puestos a prueba en el duro entorno de la <strong>operaci\u00f3n ant\u00e1rtica<\/strong>, realizando vuelos log\u00edsticos desde las bases Marambio y Matienzo, en apoyo a la actividad cient\u00edfica nacional e internacional, alcanzando un total de 5.400 horas de vuelo y participando hasta la fecha en 27 campa\u00f1as ant\u00e1rticas de verano.\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u00abEn el Noroeste Argentino en apoyo a <strong>tareas humanitarias<\/strong> ante la lucha contra el c\u00f3lera, en el litoral y centro del pa\u00eds en apoyo a nuestra comunidad, que se vio afectada por importantes inundaciones, en diversas ocasiones brindando apoyo de <strong>b\u00fasqueda y rescate<\/strong> a aeronaves civiles y militares accidentadas. Es de destacar en forma particular el apoyo brindado a la regata 1.000 kil\u00f3metros del delta en diciembre de 1989, trasladando a un participante herido desde la localidad de Ramallo hasta el aeropuerto de Rosario en solo 17 minutos de vuelo, logrando poner su vida a salvo. En nuestra Patagonia junto al Plan Nacional del Manejo del Fuego ante devastadores <strong>incendios forestales<\/strong> producidos en plena \u00e9poca estival entre los meses de noviembre y abril de cada a\u00f1o.\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Bautismo de fuego<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><em>\u00abLa prueba m\u00e1s exigente estaba a\u00fan por llegar. En el a\u00f1o 1982, los helic\u00f3pteros Bell 212 y sus tripulaciones, hoy aqu\u00ed presentes, fueron probados en combate durante el <strong>Conflicto del Atl\u00e1ntico Sur<\/strong> realizando tareas de observaci\u00f3n y reconocimiento, patrullaje a\u00e9reo, traslado de personal y material, implementaci\u00f3n de la Base A\u00e9rea Militar C\u00f3ndor y el abastecimiento de la Red de Observadores del Aire. Brea). <\/div> <\/div> <\/div> <!-- close group --> <\/div> <!-- close row --> <\/div>\n<p><em>\u00abNuevos horizontes avizoraron y un singular escenario de operaci\u00f3n iba a ser testigo de la importantes tareas que estos helic\u00f3pteros desarrollar\u00edan en el exterior <strong>al servicio de Naciones Unidas<\/strong>, donde se han alcanzado un total de <strong>7.840 horas de vuelo<\/strong>, participando en operaciones para el mantenimiento de la paz en Chipre, desde el a\u00f1o 1994, y en Hait\u00ed desde el a\u00f1o 2004, apoyando a contingentes propios y de otras nacionalidades en tareas tales como traslado de personal y material, reconocimiento a\u00e9reo, patrullaje y, adem\u00e1s, trabajar mancomunadamente con nuestro personal del hospital militar en Puerto Pr\u00edncipe, Hait\u00ed, en operaciones de MEDEVAC y CASEVAC.\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u00abEl 25 de junio del 2006 se traslad\u00f3 al <strong>primer ministro liban\u00e9s Foaud Siniora<\/strong> y miembros de su gabinete desde Beirut hasta Larnaca en Chipre, siendo esta una operaci\u00f3n muy particular, dado que se efectu\u00f3 mientras se produc\u00edan combates entre las fuerzas beligerantes. Hecho que fue destacado por las autoridades de las Naciones Unidas al gobierno argentino por el abnegado profesionalismo puesto de manifiesto por el personal participante en esta riesgosa misi\u00f3n. Ser\u00eda muy dif\u00edcil rememorar todas las tareas exitosas desarrolladas por estos helic\u00f3pteros, pero sin lugar a dudas, hoy podemos afirmar que la incorporaci\u00f3n de este material de vuelo fue muy acertada y oportuna, ya que increment\u00f3 sustancialmente la capacidad operativa de las alas rotativas en su principal tarea, la de b\u00fasqueda y rescate sobre tierra y agua.\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Finalizada la alocuci\u00f3n del Comodoro Vergara se record\u00f3 al personal militar fallecido que integr\u00f3 el sistema de armas Bell 212. Posteriormente, las autoridades hicieron entrega de plaquetas y diplomas de <strong>reconocimiento al personal<\/strong> que efectuara la recepci\u00f3n de los primeros helic\u00f3pteros Bell 212 y de quienes integraron el primer servicio de mantenimiento del Grupo T\u00e9cnico 7. Tras esto se realiz\u00f3 la entrega de similares distinciones al personal de pilotos, t\u00e9cnicos y especialistas que participaron como tripulantes del sistema de armas Bell 212 durante el Conflicto del Atl\u00e1ntico Sur. La ceremonia culmin\u00f3 con un desfile del personal de esta unidad, tras lo cual se invit\u00f3 a los presentes a un vino de honor. Posteriormente, y gracias a las autoridades de la unidad, Gaceta Aeron\u00e1utica\u00a0pudo efectuar una breve visita a la plataforma de esta brigada, que aprovechamos para fotografiar a las aeronaves mencionadas m\u00e1s arriba.
