Muchos lo han intentado en circunstancias muy diversas, pero no es una comparaci\u00f3n muy feliz, en primer lugar, porque los accionistas de cualquier sociedad an\u00f3nima deciden cu\u00e1ndo compran y cuando venden sus t\u00edtulos, lo que significa que tambi\u00e9n deciden si quieren o no ser accionistas.<\/p>\n<p>Este aviso de Aerol\u00edneas Argentinas, que es un ejemplo m\u00e1s de esa costumbre, fue publicado en <i>La Prensa<\/i> del 13 de septiembre de 1957 y en otros medios de la \u00e9poca. Entonces la Argentina ten\u00eda veinte millones de habitantes, y la fecha, adem\u00e1s, coincide con el lanzamiento del lema SU compa\u00f1\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p>A poco que se mire, la primera conclusi\u00f3n es que no se trata de un balance, que es lo que quieren ver los accionistas, porque el aviso no dice una palabra de la situaci\u00f3n financiera ni de los resultados de la empresa. Podr\u00eda encuadrarse como un informe de producci\u00f3n, y visto as\u00ed parece muy atractivo, pero \u2014como ocurre ahora\u2014 estos datos sin ninguna referencia al costo de lograr esos resultados, no tienen mucho sentido.<\/p>\n<p>El aviso es de los tiempos de la revoluci\u00f3n libertadora, cuando la empresa estaba dirigida por Luis Ureta S\u00e1enz Pe\u00f1a, un abogado de la Fuerza A\u00e9rea que poco despu\u00e9s tomar\u00eda la decisi\u00f3n de comprar los Comet 4. La agencia publicitaria es Directa, que estaba dirigida por Alfredo Herrero.<\/p>\n<p>Cuando cambi\u00f3 el gobierno, y el comodoro Juan Jos\u00e9 G\u00fciraldes se hizo cargo de la empresa, se mantuvieron varias cosas, empezando por la agencia Directa. Ureta S\u00e1enz Pe\u00f1a fue designado representante general de la empresa en Europa (algo raro para un ex presidente) y el relato no cambi\u00f3, porque G\u00fciraldes sigui\u00f3 hablando de los veinte millones de accionistas.<\/p>\n<p>Hoy, las empresas a\u00e9reas que cotizan en bolsa tienen un link a sus balances oficiales en sus p\u00e1ginas de internet. No es un recurso publicitario, es una obligaci\u00f3n legal.<\/p>\n<h2>56 a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s<\/h2>\n<p>La tentaci\u00f3n de imaginar un aviso de estas caracter\u00edsticas, pero hecho hoy, es inevitable. Lamentablemente el \u00faltimo balance publicado por Aerol\u00edneas\/Austral es el de 2013, as\u00ed que las cifras no est\u00e1n muy actualizadas. En ese a\u00f1o, el verdadero debate que estaba en la calle eran las p\u00e9rdidas de Aerol\u00edneas Argentinas, sobre las que \u00e9sta no dec\u00eda nada.
