height: 245px;\" \/> <\/a> <div class=\"tiled-gallery-caption\" itemprop=\"caption description\"> El motor Rotax 912 S3 del avi\u00f3n est\u00e1 refrigerado por agua y aire con reductora integrada de 1:2.4286 (foto: Marcelo Cimino). <\/div> <\/div> <\/div> <!-- close group --> <\/div> <!-- close row --> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Dentro de este escenario, la propuesta de AEROTEC con el P2002 \u201cSierra\u201d resulta como la m\u00e1s indicada, al menos hasta la eventual llegada del IA-100, si ese fuera el camino elegido.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Licitaci\u00f3n<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>A finales de mayo de 2016, la firma AEROTEC envi\u00f3 a la EAM dos ejemplares P2002 \u201cSierra\u201d (LV-S019 y uno no determinado) para ser evaluados por los instructores y personal t\u00e9cnico de la escuela con vistas a las posibilidades de cubrir con este modelo el segmento de la instrucci\u00f3n b\u00e1sica inicial.<\/p>\n<p>El 27 de julio de 2016, la FAA ten\u00eda previsto abrir las ofertas de una licitaci\u00f3n p\u00fablica que ten\u00eda por objeto el alquiler, con opci\u00f3n a compra, de ocho aeronaves TECNAM P2002JP \u201cSierra\u201d para proveer mediante las mismas 5.856 horas de vuelo, por espacio de 18 meses, siendo la modalidad de la operatoria similar a los entrenadores Grob G120 TP-A, es decir \u201cpay per hour\u201d (pago por hora de vuelo), contemplando servicios de mantenimiento, ingenier\u00eda, repuestos, handling fees, garant\u00eda del fabricante y compromisos de niveles de servicio, para la reparaci\u00f3n y\/o soluci\u00f3n de las principales fallas que se puedan presentar en la operaci\u00f3n de las aeronaves.<\/p>\n<p>Partiendo de una dotaci\u00f3n inicial de dos aeronaves en el primer mes, el servicio debe proveer seis turnos diarios de operaci\u00f3n (lunes a viernes) de seis horas por avi\u00f3n cada uno. La uni\u00f3n ala-fuselaje, es f\u00e1cilmente removible para agilizar las inspecciones. Los tanques de combustibles se encuentran integrados al borde de ataque de cada semiala, con una capacidad de 50 litros cada uno alejados as\u00ed de la cabina, para garantizar una mayor seguridad.<\/p>\n<p>El fuselaje es una combinaci\u00f3n de una estructura tubular de acero al cromo molibdeno, revestido con paneles de duraluminio, piezas en aleaci\u00f3n ligera de aluminio y en ciertas zonas coberturas de material compuesto.<\/p>\n<p>Cabe acotar que, durante la etapa de dise\u00f1o, el equipo de proyectistas de Tecnam hizo intenso uso de programas inform\u00e1ticos avanzados, especializados en an\u00e1lisis estructural y din\u00e1mica de fluidos, logrando una aeronave eficiente aerodin\u00e1micamente, muy maniobrable, c\u00f3moda y muy simple de volar para el principiante.<\/p>\n<p>El tren de aterrizaje es fijo, tipo triciclo en la versi\u00f3n P2002 Sierra JR, el tren de aterrizaje principal se basa en una hoja de acero. Dispone de una amplia cabina insonorizada de 1220 mm de ancho, que permite 360\u00ba de campo visual, la misma se encuentra reforzada para ofrecer protecci\u00f3n a sus ocupantes en caso de capotar.<\/p>\n<p>En su interior, las butacas var\u00edan gradualmente la altura en la medida que avanza su recorrido. Los comandos son tradicionales: doble comando, doble pedalera y doble maneta (cuernos) al tablero de instrumentos.<\/p>\n<p>El estabilizador horizontal se mueve totalmente (todas las superficies de comando son de aleaci\u00f3n ligera de aluminio). Por su parte, el trim tab longitudinal y los flaps son accionados el\u00e9ctricamente, contando con indicador de posici\u00f3n en el panel de instrumentos.<\/p>\n<p>El TECNAM P2002 JR Sierra es propulsado por un motor certificado Rotax 912 S3 (FAR33), de cuatro cilindros opuestos horizontales (b\u00f3xer), cuatro v\u00e1lvulas por pist\u00f3n, de refrigeraci\u00f3n mixta aire-liquido, el cual proporciona unos 100hp de potencia, con un tiempo entre recorrdidas de 2000 hs.<\/p>\n<p>Esto permite reducir gastos de mantenimiento y operaci\u00f3n y al mismo tiempo excelentes prestaciones lo que significa una gran ventaja ante sus competidores del ramo y una buena posibilidad para pilotos y alumnos de volar un avi\u00f3n moderno al mismo costo que cualquier otra escuela o alquiler de aeronaves las cuales utilizan aviones que, aunque nadie pone en juego su nobleza, son mucho m\u00e1s antiguos y en muchos casos, desfasados.<\/p>\n<p>El motor Rotax 912 S3, utiliza combustible de autom\u00f3vil, con un consumo de aceite muy bajo en comparaci\u00f3n con el de otros aviones utilizados para el mismo fin. En cuanto valores de operaci\u00f3n del avi\u00f3n, el P 2002 tiene un costo bajo de mantenimiento y el consumo de combustible oscila entre los 15 a 17 litros por hora.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Algunas impresiones de vuelo<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>En palabra de alumnos e instructores, en el P2002 Sierra resalta la comodidad de sus asientos y la postura que estos brindan a sus ocupantes. Es un avi\u00f3n seguro en cuanto a los arneses de sujeci\u00f3n (dispone de cuatro puntos de sujeci\u00f3n) para ambos pilotos lo cual hace c\u00f3modo el rodaje, incluso en pistas de pasto en que los desniveles del terreno suelen hacerse notar.<\/p>\n<p>En el despegue, a poco m\u00e1s de 5000 RPM, el Rotax 912 S3 entrega sus 100 HP de potencia. Alcanzados los 40 nudos IAS la aeronave se encuentra en rotaci\u00f3n y a los 45 nudos ya en el aire, en una distancia recorrida sorprendentemente m\u00ednima. Cabe recordar que el fabricante establece en el manual de operaci\u00f3n una carrera de decolaje de 140 m (459 ft) y una distancia de decolaje de 310 m (1,017 ft).<\/p>\n<p>El pilotaje muestra un avi\u00f3n d\u00f3cil, que responde autom\u00e1ticamente a los movimientos de los mandos. A primera impresi\u00f3n puede confundir, haciendo pensar que, por su liviandad, la aeronave es susceptible a las posibles r\u00e1fagas de viento. No obstante esto, se contrarresta f\u00e1cilmente realizando los seteos correspondientes. Con potencia a full en ascenso, el piloto debe aplicar presi\u00f3n sobre el pedal derecho para contrarrestar el torque del motor al cual se debe estar atento.<\/p>\n<p>En p\u00e9rdida sin flaps, la aeronave se mantiene muy bien, sin necesidad que el piloto se exija demasiado. Y, si se practica la maniobra con full flaps, la aeronave tiene actuaciones excelentes. El avi\u00f3n no tiene ning\u00fan inconveniente en ejecutar alabeos pronunciados, apenas a unos grados del filo de cuchillo, virajes escarpados. Sale muy f\u00e1cil de la p\u00e9rdida, y recupera altura con agilidad.<\/p>\n<p>Dado que\u00a0no se tiene en claro a\u00fan el papel que jugar\u00e1 en un futuro cercano el desarrollo de FAdeA con el avi\u00f3n IA-100 (o el IA-74, en su futura versi\u00f3n de entrenador elemental militar),\u00a0la incorporaci\u00f3n de los TECNAM P2002 JF \u201cSierra\u201d al Curso B\u00e1sico Conjunto de Aviador Militar (CBCAM) permitir\u00e1 a la\u00a0Fuerza A\u00e9rea Argentina disponer\u00a0de una plataforma\u00a0moderna\u00a0con la cual\u00a0iniciar a los futuros pilotos de manera econ\u00f3mica y eficaz, dejando los m\u00e1s potentes G120 TP-A para el siguiente escal\u00f3n del proceso de formaci\u00f3n. Al tiempo que se ampliar\u00e1 el parque de aviones entrenadores de la Escuela de Aviaci\u00f3n Militar (EAM), lo cual permitir\u00e1 cumplir con la demanda cuantitativa de los alumnos actualmente en
