La inscripci\u00f3n \u201cMinisterio de Transportes\u201d atestigua lo primero y la leyenda \u201cAeroposta\u201d, sin el aditamento de \u201cArgentina\u201d lo segundo. Son dos aviones muy viejos pero, por su trayectoria en nuestra historia aeron\u00e1utica, merecen ser la foto de tapa de un libro de estas caracter\u00edsticas.<\/p>\n<p>Desde el punto de vista formal, el trabajo est\u00e1 presentado como una gran tabla, en la que en las filas aparecen las aeronaves, ordenadas desde el LV-AAA en adelante, y en las columnas se detallan fabricante, modelo, n\u00famero de serie, \u00faltimo due\u00f1o, y un comentario con informaci\u00f3n relevante sobre la m\u00e1quina. Inexplicablemente hay tres columnas que no tienen encabezamiento. Cuando es menester, se incluyen los LQ- y todas las matriculaciones especiales (LSA, ULM, X). Adem\u00e1s se consignan los cambios de matr\u00edcula, cuando los hubo.<\/p>\n<p>El trabajo est\u00e1 acompa\u00f1ado por miles fotograf\u00edas (s\u00ed, miles) que ampl\u00edan el conocimiento sobre cada aeronave.<\/p>\n<p>Sin duda alguna, se trata del material de referencia sobre equipo a\u00e9reo m\u00e1s importante y completo que se ha producido hasta la fecha y ser\u00e1 una herramienta de trabajo ineludible en futuras investigaciones.<\/p>\n<p>Queda para la discusi\u00f3n el tema de si un estudio de este tipo, a esta altura de los tiempos, debi\u00f3 ser publicado en papel o hubiera convenido un libro electr\u00f3nico. A favor del papel est\u00e1, en primer lugar, la tradici\u00f3n y cierta facilidad de lectura y portabilidad asociadas a la misma tradici\u00f3n, pero las contras de un libro de 748 p\u00e1ginas con encuadernaci\u00f3n pegada, son los evidentes problemas de manipuleo. Adem\u00e1s, el \u00fanico modo de incluir tantas ilustraciones de que pudo echar mano el editor fue reduciendo su formato, lo que hace complicada su apreciaci\u00f3n y, por qu\u00e9 no, su disfrute.<\/p>\n<p>Un libro electr\u00f3nico \u2014a\u00fan aceptando que nuestro medio todav\u00eda no est\u00e1 acostumbrado a ellos\u2014 hubiera permitido una mejor presentaci\u00f3n de las im\u00e1genes, y disponer de mecanismos de b\u00fasqueda m\u00e1s r\u00e1pidos.
