Desde 1999 realiz\u00f3 espor\u00e1dicamente servicios regulares en las provincias de Neuqu\u00e9n y Mendoza.<\/p>\n<p>La inmensa mayor\u00eda de sus vuelos son fletamentos contratados por empresas petroleras y mineras. Su principal base est\u00e1 en Neuqu\u00e9n y cuenta con equipos Dornier Do-228, Fairchild Swearingen Metro y ATR-42, m\u00e1s otros m\u00e1s peque\u00f1os para servicios de taxi a\u00e9reo.<\/p>\n<p>Dentro de la generaci\u00f3n de aerol\u00edneas que en los a\u00f1os noventa pugnaron por volar con aeronaves de diecinueve plazas American Jet fue, probablemente, la m\u00e1s s\u00f3lida. Supo buscar clientes permanentes, mantuvo una flota equilibrada de aviones alquilados seg\u00fan las circunstancias, realizando todo tipo de servicios, incluyendo algunos regulares.<\/p>\n<p>El pedido concreto que ser\u00e1 considerado en la Audiencia P\u00fablica, incluye 13 rutas, que comprenden un total de 27 destinos \u201420 dom\u00e9sticos y 7 internacionales\u2014 que involucran a 31 pares de ciudades servidos \u201424 dom\u00e9sticos, 7 internacionales, uno presumiblemente de 8\u00aa libertad. El pedido de rutas que est\u00e1 haciendo delata la intenci\u00f3n de utilizar m\u00e1quinas mayores (foto Miguel Rosales).<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Algunos detalles interesantes son el pedido de una ruta a las Islas Malvinas (por correcci\u00f3n pol\u00edtica no indicaron a qu\u00e9 lugar del archipi\u00e9lago) y para la ruta formulada como Neuqu\u00e9n &#8211; Rosario &#8211; Buenos Aires &#8211; Punta del Este se especific\u00f3 que la escala pedida es el Aeroparque, mientras que para las otras que llegan a la capital no se hizo esta salvedad. Queda la duda sobre si se trat\u00f3 de un error o se est\u00e1 pensando en un servicio a Punta del Este que, por razones competitivas, es conveniente operar desde el Aeroparque.<\/p>\n<p>Finalmente, es interesante acotar que varias de estas rutas y destinos ya hab\u00edan sido tratados en la Audiencia P\u00fablica 217, en 2005, pero no fueron concedidas.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>American Jet es una empresa que empez\u00f3 a operar en 1984 como taxi a\u00e9reo y que en la actualidad realiza casi exclusivamente vuelos no regulares con turboh\u00e9lices de menos de 43 plazas.
