Antonio Buira expone ante el lector sus experiencias durante el conflicto de Malvinas, donde se desempe\u00f1o como Comandante de Learjet 35A, efectuando numerosas misiones dentro del Escuadr\u00f3n F\u00e9nix o \u201cAguiluchos Laguneros\u201d como se autodenominaban los pilotos pertenecientes de la Fuerza A\u00e9rea Argentina (FAA).<\/p>\n<p>La segunda edici\u00f3n de este libro se inicia con una introducci\u00f3n y un prologo que son seguidos por el primer capitulo, \u201cAntecedentes,\u201d donde el autor describe su carrera, su familia, su situaci\u00f3n al momento del estallido del conflicto, el pase de la Escuela de Guerra A\u00e9rea, donde se encontraba al comenzar la guerra, a su anterior destino, la II Brigada A\u00e9rea, para rehabilitarse en IA-50 GII y Learjet 35A.<\/p>\n<p>En el cap\u00edtulo II \u201cMis Operaciones A\u00e9reas\u201d detalla cronol\u00f3gicamente las misiones en las que form\u00f3 parte durante el conflicto, introduci\u00e9ndonos en la situaci\u00f3n t\u00e1ctica que motiv\u00f3 cada una de ellas, las vivencias diarias en la unidad de despliegue, como as\u00ed tambi\u00e9n otros aspectos no menos importantes, la faz personal, el miedo, las emociones, los pensamientos hacia sus seres queridos, etc.<\/p>\n<p>En el Cap\u00edtulo III \u201cAvi\u00f3n Learjet 35A\u201d describe resumidamente las principales caracter\u00edsticas y prestaciones de esta aeronave.<\/p>\n<p>En el pr\u00f3ximo Cap\u00edtulo, \u201cComentarios,\u201d encontramos una compilaci\u00f3n de distintos comentarios de personalidades destacadas, adversarios, periodistas, escritores y funcionarios, quienes hicieron menci\u00f3n al desempe\u00f1o de la FAA y aviadores argentinos durante el conflicto.<\/p>\n<p>El Cap\u00edtulo V \u201cAn\u00e9cdotas\u201d est\u00e1 conformado por distintas an\u00e9cdotas sucedidas en la vida diaria durante el conflicto.<\/p>\n<p>En el Cap\u00edtulo VI \u201cVuelo sin Retorno\u201d se narra la misi\u00f3n en la que fuera derribado el T-24 y reproduce la carta que el Mayor Juan Jos\u00e9 Falconier, ca\u00eddo en esta acci\u00f3n, le dejara a sus hijos.<\/p>\n<p>El Cap\u00edtulo VII \u201cEl Escuadr\u00f3n F\u00e9nix\u201d describe la gestaci\u00f3n y responsabilidades del Escuadr\u00f3n F\u00e9nix, el autor tambi\u00e9n deja asentadas algunas diferencias que surgieron con sus contrapartes civiles tras el conflicto.<\/p>\n<p>All\u00ed tambi\u00e9n encontramos un listado del personal que cumpli\u00f3 misiones dentro de la Zona de Exclusi\u00f3n Total (ZET) del Teatro de Operaciones Malvinas (TOM). Y un recuento de misiones realizadas por el Learjet 35 LV-ONN durante el conflicto.<\/p>\n<p>El Cap\u00edtulo VIII \u201cLas bajas de ambos bandos\u201d hace una enumeraci\u00f3n de las funciones cumplidas por la FAA durante el conflicto, dando varias cifras y porcentajes relacionados con las operaciones y las bajas de material y personal de la FAA como as\u00ed tambi\u00e9n de la Task Force, en este ultimo caso, se presentan datos oficiales y una estimaci\u00f3n de los reales.<\/p>\n<p>En el Cap\u00edtulo IX \u201cOperaci\u00f3n Mikado\u201d se detallan los distintos pasos para el intento de llevar a cabo esta arriesgada acci\u00f3n por parte de los brit\u00e1nicos, y las razones por las cuales la misma fracas\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>Esta obra culmina con el Cap\u00edtulo X \u201cEn Memoria y Reconocimiento\u201d En la que el autor comenta los pormenores sobre la peregrinaci\u00f3n de la Virgen de Luj\u00e1n a la Base Marambio, y se reproducen algunas palabras alusivas que tuvieron lugar
