(Foto: Archivo fotogr\u00e1fico del MUAN) <\/div> <\/div> <\/div> <!-- close group --> <\/div> <!-- close row --> <\/div>\n<p>El 29 de mayo de 2018, luego de 64 largos a\u00f1os finaliz\u00f3 de manera simb\u00f3lica el vuelo que emprendieron hacia la eternidad 6 j\u00f3venes aviadores un desapacible domingo de 1954.<\/p>\n<p>Los Guardiamarinas Rene R. Igarzabal, Justo Hern\u00e1n Moll y Juan Alberto Irigoin acompa\u00f1ados por el Cabo Principal Aeron\u00e1utico Nicol\u00e1s Montani y los Cabos Segundos Aeron\u00e1uticos Ra\u00fal Torrengo y Ra\u00fal Ram\u00edrez emprendieron la ma\u00f1ana de un nuboso y desapacible domingo 29 de agosto de 1954 junto con el resto de sus compa\u00f1eros Pilotos Aviadores Navales y tripulantes mec\u00e1nicos de la Escuela de Aviaci\u00f3n Naval una navegaci\u00f3n EPO-CBA (Espora &#8211; C\u00f3rdoba) , diez aviones Vultee BT-13A y un transporte Douglas DC-2 \u00bd de apoyo, que enfrentando la meteorolog\u00eda reinante trep\u00f3 y comenz\u00f3 a volar sobre nubes, los Vultee divididos en dos secciones de 5 aviones siguieron volando en condiciones VFR (navegaci\u00f3n visual).<\/p>\n<p>Los Vultee eran aviones de entrenamiento b\u00e1sico de vuelo con un instrumental escaso y simple, solo adecuados para ser utilizados con buen tiempo y amplia visibilidad.<\/p>\n<p>Las secciones volaban con una formaci\u00f3n de V invertida con el L\u00edder en el v\u00e9rtice y dos numerales a cada lado en forma escalonada.<\/p>\n<p>Transcurridos aproximadamente 30 minutos de vuelo y apreciando el L\u00edder de la primera secci\u00f3n que la altura sobre el terreno era cada vez menor por la presencia de bancos de nubes cada vez m\u00e1s bajos y cerrados, ordena a los aviones ascender y volar sobre capa, como lo hac\u00eda el avi\u00f3n de apoyo.<\/p>\n<p>El L\u00edder de la segunda secci\u00f3n decide no ascender para evitar una posible colisi\u00f3n con la otra formaci\u00f3n. (Foto: Archivo fotogr\u00e1fico de Lorenzo Borri)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Volando sobre un cord\u00f3n monta\u00f1oso en cercan\u00edas de la ciudad de Pig\u00fce, ya entre nubes, sufren el efecto monta\u00f1a o sea turbulencia a sotavento de la misma, en este caso severa, debido a la poca altura del vuelo y los numerales pierden contacto con su L\u00edder.<\/p>\n<p>En esas circunstancias, el L\u00edder de la segunda secci\u00f3n ordena para prevenir una colisi\u00f3n en vuelo que los Numerales de la izquierda trepen con rumbo 300 y los Numerales de la derecha rumbo 360, el L\u00edder mantuvo rumbo 330.<\/p>\n<p>Los numerales de la izquierda, caen efectivamente al rumbo ordenado y embisten la sierra, con tal mala fortuna, que diez metros m\u00e1s arriba hubieran zafado.<\/p>\n<p>Los numerales de la derecha, pierden la formaci\u00f3n entre s\u00ed y mientras uno cae al rumbo 360 y se estrella, el otro se encuentra girando a la izquierda y casi en p\u00e9rdida de sustentaci\u00f3n alcanza a perforar las nubes y se re\u00fane con el L\u00edder sobre la capa. Posteriormente manifest\u00f3, haber visto a su izquierda un fogonazo.<\/p>\n<p>Los restos de los aviones se encontraban, dos casi juntos a la izquierda y el restante a la derecha, con una distancia entre ambos impactos ocasionada por los cambios de rumbo y aproximadamente a la misma altura.<\/p>\n<p>Los aviadores jam\u00e1s supieron lo que pas\u00f3, sus cuerpos quedaron reducidos a cenizas, por lo que pr\u00e1cticamente no se los pudo reconocer. (Foto: Archivo fotogr\u00e1fico de Lorenzo Borri)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Los pobladores acudieron de inmediato a prestar una ayuda que la fatalidad demostr\u00f3 no era necesaria por la muerte instant\u00e1nea de los j\u00f3venes marinos.<\/p>\n<p>Rescatados y evacuados los cuerpos, los restos de los aviones quedaron en el lugar de su tr\u00e1gica colisi\u00f3n, desmantelados por el paso del tiempo y los cazadores de recuerdos fueron desapareciendo, hasta llegar a los d\u00edas actuales en los que en el lugar no queda nada queda de ellos.<\/p>\n<p>El s\u00e1bado 26 de mayo el escritor Claudio Meunier acompa\u00f1ado por el fot\u00f3grafo Cristian Favalesa se reunieron con Marcos Oustry, oriundo de Pig\u00fce, quien en nombre de su familia les entreg\u00f3 como reliquias, restos de fuselaje de los Vultee recogidos del lugar del accidente por su padre Roberto para que fueran trasladados de regreso a la Base Aeronaval Comandante Espora, con destino al Museo de la Aviaci\u00f3n Naval Argentina.
