Poseedor del n\u00famero de serie 2022, luce matr\u00edcula E-815 y destaca por ser el primer ejemplar del modelo que fue terminado de construir por <strong>Lockheed Martin Aircraft Argentina<\/strong> (LMAASA), firma de capital norteamericano que administr\u00f3 la planta cordobesa entre 1995 y 2009, y su historial es un t\u00edpico exponente de la traum\u00e1tica historia industrial aeron\u00e1utica argentina de las \u00faltimas cuatro d\u00e9cadas.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Del AMC a FAdeA, con escala en LMAASA<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Su historia comenz\u00f3 a inicios de la d\u00e9cada 1990, cuando el <strong>\u00c1rea de Material C\u00f3rdoba<\/strong> (AMC) transitaba no sin dificultades la ejecuci\u00f3n de la que hoy conocemos como la primera serie del IA-63, integrada por tres prototipos (EX-01 a EX-03), dos c\u00e9lulas de ensayos y 19 aviones de serie (E-801 a E-819).<\/p>\n<p>Las primeras evidencias de su existencia datan de octubre de 1996, cuando este autor y <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gacetaeronautica.com\/gaceta\/wp-101\/?author=39\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Guillermo Acerbi<\/a> visitamos por primera vez a <strong>Lockheed Aircraft Argentina<\/strong> (LAASA, designaci\u00f3n original de la concesionaria hasta la fusi\u00f3n entre Lockheed y Martin) y en el Hangar 90 detectamos la presencia de dos c\u00e9lulas IA-63 en distintos niveles de terminaci\u00f3n: Uno casi completo pero a\u00fan sin pintar (el futuro E-815) y otro en su cuna de montaje (c\/n 2023, futuro E-817).<\/p>\n<p>Como apreci\u00e1bamos en la nota que redactamos en aquel entonces para la revista Pista 18, llamaba la atenci\u00f3n que <em>\u201cla l\u00ednea de producci\u00f3n del IA-63 Pampa, aunque inactiva, todav\u00eda no haya sido desmantelada\u201d<\/em>, lo que demuestra que los ingenieros de la concesionaria no descartaban la factibilidad (\u00a1o no perd\u00edan la ilusi\u00f3n!) de revivirla cuando terminara el contrato de modernizaci\u00f3n de A\/TA-4AR Fighting Hawk que en ese momento copaba la capacidad de trabajo de la planta.<\/p>\n<div align=\"center\">\n<div class=\"tiled-gallery type-rectangular tiled-gallery-unresized\" data-original-width=\"1140\" data-carousel-extra='{&quot;blog_id&quot;:1,&quot;permalink&quot;:&quot;https:\\\/\\\/www.gacetaeronautica.com\\\/gaceta\\\/wp-101\\\/photo-book-el-renacimiento-del-primer-ia-63-marca-lockheed-martin\\\/&quot;,&quot;likes_blog_id&quot;:26943182}' itemscope itemtype=\"http:\/\/schema.org\/ImageGallery\" > <div class=\"gallery-row\" style=\"width: 1140px; height: 235px;\" \/> <\/a> <div class=\"tiled-gallery-caption\" itemprop=\"caption description\"> En muestra est\u00e1tica durante una exhibici\u00f3n en su primera unidad operativa en la FAA (foto: v\u00eda Gabriel Pavlovcic). <\/div> <\/div> <\/div> <!-- close group --> <\/div> <!-- close row --> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Y esto se har\u00eda realidad entre nuestra visita y 1999, cuando la concesionaria complet\u00f3 la c\u00e9lula protagonista de esta historia gracias a su avanzado estado de terminaci\u00f3n y al rescate de partes y piezas canibalizadas de otros Pampas que hab\u00edan quedado fuera de servicio y esperaban ser recorridos o reparados por la empresa.<\/p>\n<p>LMAASA entreg\u00f3 la aeronave al brigadier <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gacetaeronautica.com\/gaceta\/wp-101\/?author=73\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Horacio Rodr\u00edguez<\/a><\/strong>, Jefe de Estado Mayor del Comando de Material de la <strong>Fuerza A\u00e9rea Argentina<\/strong> (FAA), en una ceremonia realizada el 28 de septiembre de 1999 en la que la empresa destac\u00f3 que el \u201cEcho Ocho Uno Cinco\u201d era el primer Pampa terminado en pr\u00e1cticamente una d\u00e9cada: <strong>Daniel W. Patterson<\/strong>, Presidente de <strong>Lockheed Martin Aircraft &amp; Logistics Centers<\/strong> (unidad de negocios a la cual reportaba LMAASA) afirm\u00f3 en el acto que\u00a0<em>\u00abm\u00e1s de una d\u00e9cada despu\u00e9s de [iniciar] la producci\u00f3n original del Pampa, el avi\u00f3n contin\u00faa desempe\u00f1ando un papel importante en el entrenamiento de pilotos de la FAA\u00bb<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Y, desafiando la percepci\u00f3n de que el programa Pampa hab\u00eda muerto tras su eliminaci\u00f3n en la competencia por el <strong>Joint Primary Aircraft Training System<\/strong> (JPATS, Sistema de Aeronaves de Entrenamiento Primario Conjunto) de la fuerza a\u00e9rea y aviaci\u00f3n naval norteamericanas, Patterson destacaba como un logro que el\u00a0<em>\u201cPampa es un avi\u00f3n de entrenamiento extremadamente capaz y econ\u00f3mico que fue competidor JPATS\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Encabezando un grupo de siete aeronaves terminadas por LMAASA y entregadas a la FAA hasta 2008 (dos de la primera y cinco de la segunda serie), el E-815 sigui\u00f3 camino a El Plumerillo (Mendoza), donde el 30 de septiembre de 1999 se integr\u00f3 a las filas del II Escuadr\u00f3n del Grupo 4 de Caza (Esc.II\/G4C, tambi\u00e9n conocido como \u201cEscuadr\u00f3n CB-2\u201d) de la IV Brigada A\u00e9rea (IV Br A\u00e9).<\/p>\n<h3><strong>\u00c1frica M\u00eda<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Un a\u00f1o m\u00e1s tarde, sin embargo, fue cedido por casi dos meses a LMAASA ya que, por tratarse del ejemplar m\u00e1s moderno de la serie, tuvo que ser preparado para su exhibici\u00f3n en una feria aeroespacial y de defensa que marcar\u00eda la primera y hasta ahora \u00fanica presentaci\u00f3n de una aeronave de dise\u00f1o nacional en continente africano.<\/p>\n<div align=\"center\">\n<div class=\"tiled-gallery type-rectangular tiled-gallery-unresized\" data-original-width=\"1140\" data-carousel-extra='{&quot;blog_id&quot;:1,&quot;permalink&quot;:&quot;https:\\\/\\\/www.gacetaeronautica.com\\\/gaceta\\\/wp-101\\\/photo-book-el-renacimiento-del-primer-ia-63-marca-lockheed-martin\\\/&quot;,&quot;likes_blog_id&quot;:26943182}' itemscope itemtype=\"http:\/\/schema.org\/ImageGallery\" > <div class=\"gallery-row\" style=\"width: 1140px; height: 318px;\" \/> <\/a> <div class=\"tiled-gallery-caption\" itemprop=\"caption description\"> Desprovisto de alas, tim\u00f3n, estabilizador horizontal, varias puertas de inspecci\u00f3n, (aparentemente) el motor y esperando la recorrida que lo devolver\u00eda a la l\u00ednea de vuelo (foto: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aviationcorner.net\/gallery.asp?photographer_id=6102\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Rub\u00e9n Pablo Nieves @ Aviation Corner<\/a>). <\/div> <\/div> <\/div> <!-- close group --> <\/div> <!-- close row --> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>En 2004, sin embargo, esa estrategia empez\u00f3 a perder vigor y los Pampas de la brigada mendocina comenzaron a mostrar los tres \u00faltimos d\u00edgitos de su matr\u00edcula (o la matr\u00edcula completa) en color verde, primero de alto contraste y posteriormente de baja visibilidad, y el escudo del Escuadr\u00f3n CB-2 color verde de baja visibilidad tambi\u00e9n en el tim\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>En el caso del \u201cOcho Uno Cinco\u201d, ese cambio de estrategia se habr\u00eda aplicado s\u00f3lo parcialmente, ya que s\u00f3lo luc\u00eda los \u00faltimos tres d\u00edgitos de su matr\u00edcula en el tim\u00f3n en la que entendemos fue su \u00faltima aparici\u00f3n p\u00fablica conocida, un episodio del programa de televisi\u00f3n por cable, El Garage TV, en el que el entonces instructor de vuelo del Esc.II\/G4C, primer teniente <strong>Ricardo Roberts<\/strong>, hac\u00eda de conductor en una visita a la IV Br A\u00e9 para mostrar el sistema IA-63 Pampa durante un intercambio con piloto del Grupo de Aviaci\u00f3n 1 de la Fuerza A\u00e9rea de Chile.<\/p>\n<p>Tentativamente al a\u00f1o siguiente, nuestro Pampa regres\u00f3 a LMAASA para someterse a una inspecci\u00f3n de ciclo mayor que, concluida en el primer trimestre de 2017, tuvo como resultado m\u00e1s evidente que volviera a la IV Br A\u00e9 con el nuevo padr\u00f3n de pintura adoptado desde la entrega del primer \u00abAT-63 Pampa\u00bb en 2006 (v\u00e9ase <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gacetaeronautica.com\/gaceta\/wp-101\/?p=3618\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">\u201c\u00bfAT-63 Pampa en servicio con la IV Brigada A\u00e9rea argentina?\u201d<\/a>): Una combinaci\u00f3n de tonos de gris de baja visibilidad con matr\u00edcula y escudo del Escuadr\u00f3n CB-2 en el tim\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>A poco de volver al servicio, durante el mes de abril de 2007 se hizo presente en Buenos Aires\/Jorge Newbery para participar de la ceremonia de despedida al MS-760 Par\u00eds y recepci\u00f3n del nuevo Pampa Serie II (v\u00e9ase <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gacetaeronautica.com\/aeromilitaria\/pista18\/notas\/2007\/0062pampa2\/index.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">\u201cLa \u2018era digital\u2019 llega a la Escuela de Caza\u201d<\/a>) y en Mor\u00f3n para la Jornada de Puertas Abiertas organizadas por el Instituto Nacional de Aviaci\u00f3n Civil y el Museo Nacional de Aeron\u00e1utica (v\u00e9ase <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gacetaeronautica.com\/gaceta\/wp-101\/?p=17400\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">\u201cMor\u00f3n 2007: Las Puertas Abiertas volvieron a Buenos Aires\u201d<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Despu\u00e9s de esas dos apariciones p\u00fablicas de alta visibilidad, nuestro protagonista desapareci\u00f3 de los \u201cradares spotters\u201d y s\u00f3lo volver\u00eda a ser detectado a fines de 2010, nuevamente estacionado al interior del Hangar 90 de la ya re-estatizada FAdeA en evidente proceso de revisi\u00f3n, dado que carec\u00eda de alas, tim\u00f3n, estabilizador horizontal, varias puertas de inspecci\u00f3n y (aparentemente) el motor; height: 319px;\" \/> <\/a> <div class=\"tiled-gallery-caption\" itemprop=\"caption description\"> Vista general del Hangar 90 en la que se aprecian la l\u00ednea de recuperaci\u00f3n de Pampas (primer plano), l\u00ednea de montaje de Pampas de \u00faltima generaci\u00f3n y los prototipos que actualmente operan con el Centro de Ensayos en Vuelo (foto: FAdeA). <\/div> <\/div> <\/div> <!-- close group --> <\/div> <!-- close row --> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h3><strong>\u00bfOtro s\u00edmbolo de \u00abLa D\u00e9cada Ganada\u00bb?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>La infausta situaci\u00f3n de nuestra aeronave comenzar\u00eda a cambiar reci\u00e9n siete a\u00f1os m\u00e1s tarde cuando, seg\u00fan revelaciones publicadas a fines de julio de 2018 por un ignoto medio web, la Jefatura del Gabinete de Ministros de la Naci\u00f3n Argentina hab\u00eda aprobado una erogaci\u00f3n de $ 107.750.449 para, entre otros servicios, contratar con FAdeA la inspecci\u00f3n y re-motorizaci\u00f3n del E-815 y la recuperaci\u00f3n, re-motorizaci\u00f3n o modernizaci\u00f3n de otros seis Pampas de la FAA (E-801, E-809, E-811, E-812, E-814 y E-822).<\/p>\n<p>Un poco \u00abanestesiados\u00bb por m\u00e1s de una d\u00e9cada de anuncios grandilocuentes y huecos emitidos por la gesti\u00f3n precedente (v\u00e9ase, por ejemplo, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gacetaeronautica.com\/gaceta\/wp-101\/?p=6806\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">\u201cFAdeA presenta en sociedad sus proyectos Pampa III y Unasur I\u201d<\/a>), no hicimos mucho caso de la noticia pero la archivamos porque sus im\u00e1genes ilustrativas parec\u00edan provenir de documentos \u00abrealmente oficiales\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Y las im\u00e1genes y noticias del 18\/10 dieron nuevo valor a esos recortes porque certifican que el E-815 acaba de pasar una inspecci\u00f3n de ciclo mayor de 1.200 horas, de ser re-equipado con motor Honeywell TFE731-40-2N de 1.792 kg. de empuje (20% m\u00e1s que el motor original del IA-63) y de ser restaurado tras al menos ocho a\u00f1os de inactividad (aunque FAdeA habla de diez).<\/p>\n<p>Pero las im\u00e1genes publicadas con esos anuncios tambi\u00e9n se distingue al E-822 y otros dos Pampas de la primera serie siendo recuperados en la nave Sur del Hangar 90\u2026 \u00a1entonces s\u00f3lo es cuesti\u00f3n de esperar los posts de FAdeA reportando la rehabilitaci\u00f3n de los otros seis aparatos!<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Agradecimientos<\/strong>: Alberto O.
