Si se lo compara con el 7% de incremento que tuvieron los aeropuertos europeos del `Top 100\u00b4, se queda lejos. Atenas-Venizelos, Londres-Stansted o Madrid-Barajas salen peor parados con un crecimiento negativo (foto: Fernando Puppio).<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Algunas cifras abruman. Tambi\u00e9n escapan a la escala de pensamiento humana. 3.200 millones de pasajeros pasaron por los 100 aeropuertos con m\u00e1s tr\u00e1fico del mundo durante 2011. Unos 998 millones de ellos lo hicieron en Europa y en Am\u00e9rica del Norte 989 millones, o sea casi dos tercios del trafico del \u201ctop 100\u201d.  <\/p>\n<p>Los aeropuertos m\u00e1s grandes del mundo siguieron viendo como se incrementaron los pasajeros que pasaron por ellos: Heathrow soporto un aumento del 5,1%, Atlanta (el mayor del mundo) un 3,3% y el de Pekin un 4,5%. Aunque los mayores aumentos porcentuales se dieron entre los pa\u00edses emergentes: la terminal de Nueva Delhi fue visitada por 34,7 millones de viajeros (un incremento del 17,8% respecto de 2010), R\u00edo no se qued\u00f3 atr\u00e1s con el 17% de nuevos pasajeros, y Xiamen en China tuvo un 15,9% m\u00e1s de visitas.  <\/p>\n<p>Del an\u00e1lisis de las cifras preliminares para el a\u00f1o 2011 brindadas por el Airports Council International, se observa que el estado de los problemas econ\u00f3micos mundiales tambi\u00e9n esta afectando a la operatoria aeroportuaria. Trece de los 100 aeropuertos m\u00e1s transitados del mundo han sufrido una disminuci\u00f3n en pasajeros. El que peor parado sale, y con diferencia, es el aeropuerto de Tokio con una disminuci\u00f3n de un 20,5%. Atenas presa de una crisis de confianza y envuelta en una alta conflictividad social perdi\u00f3 un 6,7% de pasajeros durante 2011, seguido de los dos aeropuertos japoneses Sapporo y Fukuoka. Estados Unidos no muestra grandes bajadas, pero si hay varias ciudades con una leve disminuci\u00f3n de tr\u00e1fico. Otro dato interesante es la perdida de pasajeros en el aeropuerto de Londres Stansted, donde Ryanair concentra gran parte de su operatoria. All\u00ed la circulaci\u00f3n de viajeros se redujo un 2,9%, hasta los 18 millones.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; <\/p>\n<table style=\"width: 100%\" id=\"table\" border=\"1\" bordercolor=\"#ffffff\" son malos, y a pesar de la recesi\u00f3n en varios pa\u00edses europeos y a las graves dificultades que sufren todos aquellos estados del sur de Europa, la cantidad de viajeros en la regi\u00f3n aument\u00f3 en un promedio de 7,4%, en comparaci\u00f3n la variaci\u00f3n general de toda la tabla del top 100 que estuvo en un 5,1% de incremento respecto a 2010.  <\/p>\n<figure style=\"width: 650px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.gacetaeronautica.com\/gaceta\/wp-101\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/top1.jpg?w=1140\"><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">A pesar de la crisis el aeropuerto de Barcelona es el que mas creci\u00f3 en Europa, seguramente a expensas de los aeropuertos catalanes de Girona y Reus (foto: Fernando Puppio).<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Entre los pa\u00edses europeos que padecen mayores dificultades debidas la crisis econ\u00f3mica y financiera que afecta al viejo continente, no se ven grandes desaceleraciones durante 2011, excepto por el caso de la terminal de la capital griega citado m\u00e1s arriba y que ocupa el puesto 99\u00ba de la tabla. Ni siquiera los pa\u00edses rescatados financieramente, o los que podr\u00edan estar pr\u00f3ximos a serlo, han sufrido grandes bajadas, Madrid-Barajas pr\u00e1cticamente se mantiene igual que el a\u00f1o anterior con una liger\u00edsima ca\u00edda del 0,4%, y contrasta con Barcelona-El Prat que creci\u00f3 un sorprendente 15,1%. Dubl\u00edn o Mil\u00e1n solo crecieron el 1,6% y el 1,8% respectivamente, pero mantuvieron una m\u00f3dica tendencia al alza.  <\/p>\n<h2>Latinoam\u00e9rica<\/h2>\n<p>En la tabla de los 100 aeropuertos m\u00e1s visitados del mundo, solo destacan seis aeropuertos latinoamericanos. En todos ellos la variaci\u00f3n respecto a 2010 es positiva y en promedio cercana al 10%. Brasil es l\u00edder indiscutido, ya que entre S\u00e3o Paulo (Guarulhos y Congonhas), Brasilia, y Rio de Janeiro (Gale\u00e3o), suman 78 millones de pasajeros durante 2011. Los otros aeropuertos con mayor tr\u00e1fico de pasajeros son Ciudad de M\u00e9xico y Bogot\u00e1 que registraron incrementos del 8,5% y 7,4% respectivamente. Se descuelgan del \u201ctop 100\u201d Arturo Merino Ben\u00edtez en Santiago de Chile con 11.892.179 pasajeros durante 2011 seg\u00fan la administraci\u00f3n de la terminal.  <\/p>\n<figure style=\"width: 650px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.gacetaeronautica.com\/gaceta\/wp-101\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/top2.jpg?w=1140\"><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Las pistas de Ezeiza soportaron durante 2011 63.160 movimientos de aeronaves (foto: Fernando Puppio).<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>El transporte a\u00e9reo en Argentina sigue sin despegar, y no muestra mayores variaciones respecto de 2010. A pesar que Aeropuertos Argentina 2000 pregona que Ezeiza es uno de los aeropuertos m\u00e1s grandes de Latinoam\u00e9rica, la terminal internacional de Buenos Aires se qued\u00f3 con 8.276.159 el a\u00f1o pasado seg\u00fan la propia concesionaria. Por su parte el Aeroparque metropolitano, tras la regionalizaci\u00f3n de los vuelos que desde all\u00ed operan, alcanz\u00f3 la cifra de 8.250.971 viajeros (seg\u00fan datos publicados en el n\u00famero 32 la revista <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aa2000.com.ar\/images\/33anews\/archivos\/aa2000-33ANEWS-N32.pdf\">33A News<\/a> publicada en 2012).
