No es muy distinta de muchas que est\u00e1n circulando en estos d\u00edas, creadas por las aerol\u00edneas para mostrar su preocupaci\u00f3n por la salud de sus pasajeros. Lo \u00fanico que llama la atenci\u00f3n es que el avi\u00f3n sea un Jumbo, un modelo que hoy casi no se usa.<\/p>\n<p>La explicaci\u00f3n es que la foto tiene m\u00e1s de veinte a\u00f1os. Es una publicidad de United de 1999, cuando nadie pensaba en una pandemia como la del covid19. No est\u00e1 muy claro el por qu\u00e9, pero la empresa opt\u00f3 por promocionar que en sus aviones se pod\u00eda respirar el aire m\u00e1s puro, porque sus filtros garantizaban un ambiente 99,97% libre de bacterias.<\/p>\n<p>A principios de la d\u00e9cada de 1970 diversas empresas, por razones m\u00e1s comerciales que otra cosa, empezaron a crear \u00e1reas para no fumadores en sus cabinas, y alrededor de 2000 estuvo prohibido en todo el mundo.<\/p>\n<p>En Argentina se prohibi\u00f3 fumar en los vuelos dom\u00e9sticos en abril de 1998 y Aerol\u00edneas Argentinas hizo lo propio en sus servicios internacionales en junio de 1999.<\/p>\n<p>Evidentemente, \u00e9se era el momento para hablar del aire puro.<\/p>\n<p>Despu\u00e9s vinieron las sorpresas, si no se fumaba a bordo, todo el sistema de ventilaci\u00f3n se manten\u00eda m\u00e1s limpio, el mantenimiento era m\u00e1s sencillo y \u2014dato fundamental\u2014 los costos de mantenimiento menores.<\/p>\n<p>Pero el tema de la pureza sanitaria del aire nunca fue algo importante de la promoci\u00f3n aerocomercial, hasta que lleg\u00f3 el coronavirus. En ese momento las empresas recordaron que sus aviones ten\u00edan filtros de alta eficiencia, y volvieron a promocionarlos.
