Adem\u00e1s, m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de la compra inicial, el costo de financiaci\u00f3n invertido es ahora mucho mayor, ya que he arrastrado los contenedores por toda Inglaterra y luego a trav\u00e9s del Atl\u00e1ntico hasta los EE. UU. o lleg\u00f3 aqu\u00ed despu\u00e9s de otras escalas intermedias?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Butterfield: Siempre me propuse montar una tienda de restauraci\u00f3n de warbirds. De hecho, despu\u00e9s de que cerr\u00e9 la empresa de restauraci\u00f3n de autom\u00f3viles de Oxfordshire, pens\u00e9 en dedicar todo el equipo a la restauraci\u00f3n de aviones. Explor\u00e9 todos los aer\u00f3dromos remanentes de la guerra en el sur de Gran Breta\u00f1a a fines de la d\u00e9cada de 1980 en busca de una oportunidad para construir o restaurar un hangar. Eso me hizo pensar en trasladar el proyecto a un entorno m\u00e1s flexible y, con suerte, m\u00e1s econ\u00f3mico, y contribuy\u00f3 a mi plan de reubicarme en los EE. UU., lo que hice en 1994.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>De 1992 a 1996, mir\u00e9 casi todos los parques a\u00e9reos del sur de los EE.UU. con mi plan en mente y termin\u00e9 con un terreno con derechos a una peque\u00f1a pista de aterrizaje de c\u00e9sped aqu\u00ed en el oeste de Carolina del Norte, as\u00ed que traslad\u00e9 el avi\u00f3n aqu\u00ed en 1996. Lamentablemente, el propietario del aeropuerto no era un hombre de palabra y el uso prometido de la pista de aterrizaje y el terreno para construir un hangar nunca se concret\u00f3.\u00a0Desde entonces, varios esfuerzos ocasionales para encontrar el aer\u00f3dromo y el socio adecuados en alg\u00fan lugar de los EE. UU. se han visto frustrados por una raz\u00f3n u otra.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Ha sido muy decepcionante, pues un aspecto negativo de esta experiencia ha sido que \u00a1casi nadie sabe qu\u00e9 es un Pucar\u00e1!\u00a0<\/em><em>Incluso los pilotos m\u00e1s serios han perdido la apuesta cuando les digo que tengo un avi\u00f3n del que nunca han o\u00eddo hablar. La primera suposici\u00f3n ha sido a menudo \u00ab\u00bfes un ultraliviano\u00bb? Sin embargo, es posible que tenga que permanecer domiciliado en los EE. UU. o Gran Breta\u00f1a, ya que he firmado contratos con los gobiernos brit\u00e1nico y estadounidense que restringen el para qu\u00e9 se puede usar el A-517 si finalmente est\u00e1 vuelve a estar en condiciones de volar y d\u00f3nde se puede exhibir. Quiz\u00e1s con el paso del tiempo desde la guerra se podr\u00edan negociar cambios importantes si fuera necesario, pero todav\u00eda no hemos llegado a ese punto.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>En resumen, me gustar\u00eda seguir involucrado en llevar a cabo este proyecto y tal vez incluso llegar a volar en \u00e9l antes de que se establezca su destino final. Estoy abierto a compartir el A-517 con otros propietarios de aviones&#8230; \u00a1tal vez intercambiando incluso una participaci\u00f3n rec\u00edproca en un avi\u00f3n cotidiano m\u00e1s habitual del que pueda ser copropietario y volar!
