Con el tiempo se agregaron algunos campos, pero la esencia ya estaba muy bien definida entonces. Cuando lleg\u00f3 el sistema BSP, que fue la primera automatizaci\u00f3n grande realizada a nivel global, s\u00f3lo hubo que cambiar un campo. No deja de ser llamativo que se hable del \u201cDouglas Supermaster\u201d, un nombre muy forzado para el Douglas DC-4 Skymaster, pero tiene su explicaci\u00f3n. Alitalia era una empresa pobre, que volaba con un avi\u00f3n excedente de guerra, que no ten\u00eda cabina presurizada y era claramente antiguo frente a las flotas de sus competidores, integradas por DC-6 y Super Constellation, m\u00e1s veloces y confortables. En este marco, tiene cierta l\u00f3gica que no se haya abundado sobre el tema.<\/p>\n<p>Algunos p\u00e1rrafos est\u00e1n destinados a tranquilizar a un pasajero que, en gran medida, ten\u00eda miedo de volar. As\u00ed se califica al despegue como \u201cdulc\u00edsimo\u201d y se asegura que \u201cantes de darse cuenta ya estar\u00e1 en el aire\u201d. El folleto menciona juegos de cartas y ajedrez, diarios, libros, frazadas y almohadas. Seis tramos de vuelo, con cinco escalas intermedias y un promedio entre la ida y la vuelta de 38:23 horas de vuelo y 5:45 en las escalas, pero el recorrido de Buenos Aires a Roma era de 41:45 horas, y la rec\u00edproca 35. El tramo m\u00e1s largo, entre Natal e Isla de la Sal requer\u00eda de 10:15 horas y la vuelta 9:07. En algunos casos estos servicios se anticipaban en el aire para los pasajeros que desembarcaban en la pr\u00f3xima escala, cuando en \u00e9sta estaba prevista alguna comida.<\/p>\n<p>No sabemos c\u00f3mo eran los men\u00faes.
