{"id":44724,"date":"2022-04-25T17:00:58","date_gmt":"2022-04-25T15:00:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.gacetaeronautica.com\/gaceta\/wp-101\/?p=44724"},"modified":"2022-04-26T21:51:01","modified_gmt":"2022-04-26T19:51:01","slug":"futuro-monumento-skyhawk-en-campana","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.gacetaeronautica.com\/gaceta\/wp-101\/futuro-monumento-skyhawk-en-campana\/","title":{"rendered":"Futuro monumento Skyhawk en Campana"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>El s\u00e1bado 2 de abril de 2022 se present\u00f3 a la comunidad, en el Museo del Autom\u00f3vil Manuel Iglesias de la ciudad de Campana, provincia de Buenos Aires, una secci\u00f3n trasera de Douglas A-4 Skyhawk.<\/p>\n<p>Cedida por la Fuerza A\u00e9rea Argentina a dicho municipio, para realizar un monumento en honor a los veteranos y ca\u00eddos en el conflicto del Atl\u00e1ntico Sur. Teniendo en cuenta que el Primer Teniente Fausto Gavazzi, ca\u00eddo en combate en el Skyhawk C-248, el 12 de mayo de 1982 sobre Pradera del Ganso (Isla Soledad), era oriundo de Campana.<\/p>\n<p>El gobierno municipal, luego de gestionar el FMA IA-58D Pucar\u00e1, A577, que actualmente se encuentra instalado en el Parque Urbano Ingeniero Roberto Rocca, en homenaje a los H\u00e9roes de Malvinas, tal como reza una placa en su pedestal, hizo lo propio con la popa de la aeronave. Para fines de 2019, la misma ya se encontraba preparada en el \u00c1rea de Material R\u00edo IV.<\/p>\n<p>Es de un OA-4M, adquirido por Argentina en 1995, junto a otros de su tipo, para ser utilizados en el programa que llev\u00f3 a cabo la reconstrucci\u00f3n y modernizaci\u00f3n de aviones Skyhawk. Con los mismos, se obtuvieron treinta y dos A-4AR y cuatro OA-4AR Fightinghawk, m\u00e1s c\u00e9lulas sobrantes para repuestos.<\/p>\n<p>Hasta el momento no se ha elegido el lugar donde se realizar\u00e1 el monumento y como fue cedida sin pintar, se puede notar que fue reacondicionada con partes de A-4AR y apreciar todav\u00eda su Bureau Number, el 154645. Esto nos indica que fue el TA-4F, manufacturer serial number 13763, salido de la f\u00e1brica de McDonnell Douglas en Long Beach (Estado de California) en 1968 y que en mayo del \u201880 fuera convertido en OA-4M.<\/p>\n<p>Fue entregado al U. S. En el \u201988, el escuadr\u00f3n se combin\u00f3 con el H&amp;MS-15, formando el MALS-12 (Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 12) Marauders.<\/p>\n<p>En 1990 pasa al Strike Aircraft Test del NATC (Naval Air test Center), basado en la Naval Air Station (NAS) Patuxent River (Maryland).<\/p>\n<p>Finalmente, en abril del siguiente a\u00f1o es almacenado en el AMARC (Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Center), con asiento en la Davis Monthan Air Force Base, donde recibe el c\u00f3digo 3A599.<\/p>\n<p>Otra marca que se le puede notar a la secci\u00f3n trasera, es la leyenda MAG-12 SAMURAI, junto a la figura de un bulldog ingl\u00e9s, mascota del Marine Corps, ataviado con un kabuto, que es un casco medieval japon\u00e9s. Esto se debe a que el MAG-12 (Marine Aircraft Group 12), est\u00e1 basado en Jap\u00f3n y es el grupo a\u00e9reo al cual respond\u00eda el H&amp;MS-12 y actualmente el MALS-12.<\/p>\n<p>La secci\u00f3n de fuselaje de Skyhawk se puede apreciar en el Museo, de lunes a jueves de 10 a 16 horas y viernes de 10 a 15 horas.
