La ciudadan\u00eda es muy consciente de lo destructivos que pueden ser estos incendios.<\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan fuentes oficiales, solo en 2021 en el estado de California, 2.568.948 hect\u00e1reas fueron consumidas por el fuego, provocando la p\u00e9rdida de m\u00e1s de 3.000 viviendas y dejando 3 muertos. Ante este escenario, la aviaci\u00f3n se ha convertido en un excelente aliado para evitar la propagaci\u00f3n y extinci\u00f3n de estos eventos incendiarios.<\/p>\n<p>Muchas empresas se vieron en la necesidad de modificar sus aeronaves para este fin, y en algunos casos, de adquirir aeronaves construidas espec\u00edficamente para este fin. Esto nos permiti\u00f3 conocer de cerca dos de sus ic\u00f3nicos modelos de aviones.<\/p>\n<p>Una de las principales caracter\u00edsticas de esta empresa es su potente avi\u00f3n Canadair CL-415 (variante turboh\u00e9lice del CL-215). Esta aeronave dise\u00f1ada exclusivamente para el combate a\u00e9reo de incendios es capaz de transportar hasta 6000 litros almacenados en sus dos grandes tanques.<\/p>\n<p>Para recargar estos dep\u00f3sitos, la aeronave necesita navegar sobre la superficie del agua a una velocidad de 60 a 70 nudos, y en tan solo 10 segundos, recargar el agua, y una vez que los tanques est\u00e9n llenos, el avi\u00f3n est\u00e1 listo para alzar vuelo y realizar la siguiente descarga.
