Opera m\u00e1s de 100 aviones Airbus desde bases en toda Europa en una extensa red principalmente punto a punto, y con algunos pocos hubs.<\/p>\n<p>Ya repasamos la historia de la compa\u00f1\u00eda en nuestro art\u00edculo <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gacetaeronautica.com\/gaceta\/wp-101\/?p=9702\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">10 a\u00f1os de Vueling<\/a><\/strong>. La aerol\u00ednea ocupa gran cantidad de posiciones de estacionamiento en la Terminal 1 (foto: Fernando Puppio).<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong>Los 320ceo: La familia A320 original<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Seg\u00fan datos de Airfleets, actualmente hay 125 aviones operando en la flota de Vueling Airlines. Seg\u00fan lo establecido, todos son modelos de Airbus, y la familia de aviones m\u00e1s numerosa en este caso es el A320ceo original. Los aviones de esta serie representan el 80% de la flota, con un total de 100 aviones de diversas edades, siendo el A319 el de menor tama\u00f1o y n\u00famero, con seis ejemplares.<\/p>\n<p>Avanzando en tama\u00f1o, el A320ceo es el avi\u00f3n m\u00e1s com\u00fan en la flota de Vueling en su conjunto, con 76 ejemplares presentes. Estos por s\u00ed solos suponen m\u00e1s del 60% del total de aviones disponibles de la aerol\u00ednea de bajo coste espa\u00f1ola. Actualmente, 68 de los 76 A320 est\u00e1n activos y tienen una edad promedio de 10,6 a\u00f1os. Estos birreactores de 220 asientos son m\u00e1s j\u00f3venes que sus contrapartes m\u00e1s peque\u00f1as de la familia Airbus A320ceo, ya que tienen una edad promedio de solo 6,3 a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>La serie A320neo<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>En los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os, Vueling tambi\u00e9n comenz\u00f3 a modernizar su flota de fuselaje estrecho mediante la incorporaci\u00f3n de aviones de la familia A320neo (<em>new engine option<\/em>). Al momento de redactar este art\u00edculo, la empresa dispon\u00eda de 25 A320neo (todos activos). Tambi\u00e9n tiene previsto recibir 12 unidades del m\u00e1s largo A321neo. La lowcost con sede en Barcelona arrend\u00f3 un Airbus A330 de la aerol\u00ednea de bandera irlandesa Aer Lingus (tambi\u00e9n del grupo IAG) para ayudar a aumentar la capacidad en las rutas desde su base operativa Par\u00eds CDG.
