formaci\u00f3n de pilotos de combate del Ej\u00e9rcito del Aire y del Espacio (EAE) consta de cinco fases: fase 1 (elemental), fase 2 (b\u00e1sica), fase 3 (avanzada 1), fase 4 (avanzada 2) y fase 5 origen chileno fabricado por ENAER destinado a la ense\u00f1anza del vuelo elemental (Fuente EAE).<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<hr>\n<p>En la fase 1 se aprende a volar con el T-35C Pillan (E-26) y en la fase 2 con el C-101 (E-25) se afianzan los conocimientos de vuelo, estas dos  fases son comunes para todos los pilotos. El C-101 es un embajador de la industria aeron\u00e1utica espa\u00f1ola, y hay que tener en cuenta que una patrulla acrob\u00e1tica sin reactores es considerada como de segunda divisi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>El C-101 ha sido un formidable avi\u00f3n de entrenamiento, pero a todas luces es  una plataforma ya superada. Van a ir causando baja paulatinamente en el EAE, pero 24 PC-21 solo van a sustituir a parte de los C-101.<\/p>\n<p>Los Pilatus PC-21 (E-27) van suponer un cambio en la forma en que los futuros pilotos reciban su formaci\u00f3n, ya que no va a ser tan solo como pasar de un modelo de avi\u00f3n a otro. El concepto de entrenador por el que apuesta Airbus es de un reactor monomotor (el EJ200 que monta el Eurofigther), con ala de implantaci\u00f3n media, cabina doble mando en t\u00e1ndem, una deriva vertical y lerx. tipo de entrenador para las \u00faltimas fases de vuelo antes de sentarse a los mandos de un EF-18M, un Eurofigther y muy probablemente en un futuro al FCAS (Futuro Sistema A\u00e9reo de Combate).<\/p>\n<p>Los PC-21 se usar\u00edan en la fase 1 y parte de la fase 2, mientras que los nuevos AFJT deber\u00edan reemplazar a los C-101 en la parte m\u00e1s complicada de la fase 2 y a los F-5 en las fases 3 y 4.<\/p>\n<p>De esta manera solo ser\u00edan dos tipos de avi\u00f3n los que tengan que volar los pilotos destinados a unidades de caza antes de llegar a sus escuadrones de en 2028. Hay que considerar que se podr\u00edan utilizar componentes ya en uso y en el desarrollo participar\u00edan empresas del programa Eurofigther.<\/p>\n<p>Cabe destacar que los F-5B de la Escuela de Caza y Ataque del Ala 23 (denominados bicicletas por su facilidad de manejo, comparados con los T-33 y Saeta a los que sustituyeron) llevan desde noviembre de 1970 siendo el reactor de ense\u00f1anza avanzada por el que pasan nuestros pilotos. Durante el verano de 2022 estos ocho pilotos est\u00e1n realizando el plan de conversi\u00f3n para los instructores de C-101 de la AGA.<\/p>\n<p>Los ocho instructores ser\u00e1n los encargados de desarrollar los nuevos planes de instrucci\u00f3n y adiestramiento, del establecimiento de los procesos para el eficaz funcionamiento de los sistemas asociados. Y no menos importante, de realizar la transici\u00f3n del C-101 al PC-21 del resto de los instructores de vuelo.<\/p>\n<p>En septiembre de 2022 los cadetes que comiencen el curso de vuelo en la AGA van s ser los primeros que volaran el PC-21 en vez del C-101.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>El Pilatus PC-21<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>El PC-21 es el \u00faltimo producto de una familia de aviones de ense\u00f1anza desarrollados por la empresa suiza Pilatus.<\/p>\n<p>Su cockpit y su avi\u00f3nica est\u00e1n dispuestos de tal manera que el alumno siente que est\u00e1 a los mandos de un avi\u00f3n de combate de \u00faltima generaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Est\u00e1 dotado de piloto autom\u00e1tico y funci\u00f3n de simulaci\u00f3n, en el radar presentando amenazas o bien simulando diversos tipos de armamento con el que neutralizar tales amenazas.<\/p>\n<p>La palanca de control y la de potencia son tipo HOTAS, con pulsadores para controlar m\u00faltiples funciones. El motor es controlado por un sistema de gesti\u00f3n de vuelo (FMS) que hace que el vuelo se asemeje mucho m\u00e1s al de un reactor que al de un aparato turboh\u00e9lice.<\/p>\n<p>En la cabina delantera el alumno dispone de HUD y el instructor en la cabina trasera dispone de una r\u00e9plica del mismo.
