Su objetivo es proporcionar a las naciones participantes un curso de perfeccionamiento de t\u00e1cticas de transporte a\u00e9reo para mejorar el conocimiento t\u00e1ctico. B\u00e1sicamente durante el curso se pretende expandir la \u00abzona de confort\u00bb de las tripulaciones en escenarios hostiles e incrementar la capacidad de supervivencia en este tipo de operaciones a\u00e9reas. Estos ETTP constituyen la \u00abbiblia\u00bb del vuelo t\u00e1ctico y recogen la esencia de lo que un curso ETAP ha de transmitir a sus participantes.<\/p>\n<p>El cuerpo de instructores formado por los Tactical Instructor Pilots (TacIP) y por los Loadmasters (TacILM) ha sido formado por el ETAC y es el encargado de interpretar esa partitura musical que constituye el ETTP. En esta ocasi\u00f3n se ha realizado un curso Single-ship Day en el que las tripulaciones han sido instruidas inmersas en una configuraci\u00f3n de despliegue de teatro simulado, exponi\u00e9ndolas a complejas amenazas tierra-aire y aire-aire.<\/p>\n<p>Una misi\u00f3n del ETAP es un desaf\u00edo constante, desde que el avi\u00f3n despega hasta que se recupera unas dos horas despu\u00e9s en la base de Zaragoza los instructores someten a las tripulaciones a una exigente sesi\u00f3n de formaci\u00f3n sin apenas minutos para el descanso. El componente espa\u00f1ol del ETAC supera a\u00f1o tras a\u00f1o la prueba de rev\u00e1lida que supone la realizaci\u00f3n de un curso ETAP. Entre las naciones participantes es habitual quedar sorprendidos por el espectacular escenario que ofrece el entorno de Arag\u00f3n y Navarra para la realizaci\u00f3n de estos complejos ejercicios de entrenamiento a\u00e9reo.<\/p>\n<p>A las infraestructuras tales como la Base de Zaragoza o el Aer\u00f3dromo de Ablitas, se le suma un espacio a\u00e9reo descongestionado y la posibilidad de ampliar las operaciones a los cercanos aeropuertos de Teruel y Huesca. Asimismo la cercan\u00eda del CENAD de San Gregorio permite la simulaci\u00f3n de lanzamiento masivo de paracaidistas o de cargas.
