El objetivo es fomentar el turismo y lograr m\u00e1s gastos personales en los destinos.<\/p>\n<p>No es un invento argentino, porque otros pa\u00edses hacen cosas parecidas, algunas visibles a simple vista y otras que pasan desapercibidas. Si el territorio no daba para mucho la apuesta fue convertirse en uno de los principales actores del comercio internacional de otros pa\u00edses a trav\u00e9s de sus buques y sus puertos. Adicionalmente, estableci\u00f3 un peque\u00f1o imperio colonial a partir del siglo XVI. Sus posesiones llegaban a las Antillas orientales y occidentales, Ceil\u00e1n, Taiw\u00e1n, Sud\u00e1frica, Malasia, parte de Ocean\u00eda, las actuales Guayanas y algunos puntos de Am\u00e9rica del Norte. Vaya como ejemplo el hecho de que la actual ciudad de Nueva York fue fundada por holandeses con el nombre de Nueva \u00c1msterdam.<\/p>\n<p>Por supuesto hab\u00eda que tener una flota importante para llegar a esos sitios, y los holandeses no solo las tuvieron sino que construyeron los puertos necesarios en su territorio .Hoy Roterdam es el mayor puerto de Europa. T\u00e9cnicamente funcionaba como un hub que recib\u00eda todas las cargas del mundo y las distribu\u00eda al resto del mundo.<\/p>\n<p>Resumiendo, los holandeses pensaban que todo deb\u00eda pasar por su pa\u00eds, y lo lograban con un trabajo impecable. Con la invenci\u00f3n del avi\u00f3n la filosof\u00eda no cambi\u00f3, y as\u00ed resulta que la empresa de transporte a\u00e9reo m\u00e1s antigua que hoy est\u00e1 volando es KLM, fundada en 1919 por Albert Plesman, que buscaba hacer con el aire lo que sus antepasados hab\u00edan hecho en el mar. En 1924 su ruta a Yakarta era la m\u00e1s larga del mundo.<\/p>\n<p>Despu\u00e9s de la Segunda Guerra Mundial muchas cosas cambiaron en el transporte, pero la determinaci\u00f3n holandesa de ser actores principales se mantuvo, KLM volvi\u00f3 a volar casi en seguida y en 1947 lleg\u00f3 a Buenos Aires. As\u00ed se regalaron noches de hotel, comidas, alquiler de autos, y otros.<\/p>\n<p>Evidentemente funcion\u00f3, y su mayor aplicaci\u00f3n estuvo durante los a\u00f1os setenta.
