Era f\u00e1cil de decir, pero fue un proceso dif\u00edcil de poner en marcha, en el que todos (gobierno, oposici\u00f3n y empresas) cometieron todos los errores imaginables y tuvieron algunos aciertos.<\/p>\n<p>Los protagonistas principales fueron Juli\u00e1n Cook, cabeza visible y vocero de la empresa y Guillermo Dietrich, ministro de Transporte que, a veces, parec\u00eda ser accionista de la empresa. El campo de batalla principal fueron las redes sociales, un terreno en el que Flybondi siempre se movi\u00f3 con soltura. Del otro lado estuvo toda la prensa kirchnerista, los sindicatos y varios trolls.<\/p>\n<p>Posicionar una nueva l\u00ednea a\u00e9rea, en una Argentina que hab\u00eda combatido, de un modo u otro, con todos los competidores de Aerol\u00edneas Argentinas, no era f\u00e1cil. Flybondi opt\u00f3 por presentarse como algo absolutamente nuevo, sin pasado \u2014que no lo ten\u00eda\u2014 y propuso un ideal que siempre atrajo al p\u00fablico: las bajas tarifas.<\/p>\n<p>La primera noticia sobre la existencia de la empresa fue el edicto de su creaci\u00f3n, que se public\u00f3 en el Bolet\u00edn Oficial del 30 de Junio de 2016 y la primera aparici\u00f3n en un medio informativo fue una peque\u00f1a referencia en <em>Air Transport World,<\/em> el 30 de septiembre, en donde se avanzaba con la noticia de que ser\u00eda una low cost. Al d\u00eda siguiente el portal chileno <em>En vivo desde SCL<\/em> se hizo eco de la informaci\u00f3n agregando algunos comentarios y la noticia sali\u00f3 en <em>La Naci\u00f3n<\/em> de Buenos Aires el lunes 3 de octubre.<\/p>\n<p>La empresa no ten\u00eda nada, pero dio mucha informaci\u00f3n a la prensa sobre lo que tendr\u00eda y lo que har\u00eda, lo que le permiti\u00f3, desde el primer momento, crear expectativas, sobre todo en materia de precios. Para el p\u00fablico su modo de contacto fueron las redes sociales, donde estuvo activa desde principios de 2017.<\/p>\n<p>Lo primero fueron pedidos de personal, algo que, sin ser pol\u00edtico, mostraba que se estaban creando puestos de trabajo de todo tipo, algunos muy especializados. A veces son beneficios que se dan a cualquier empresa, otras veces se inventan para alg\u00fan caso particular que pueda justificarse. Pasa en todo el mundo, incluida la Argentina, desde los tiempos de Aeroposta. La primera fue qu\u00e9 era una low cost, y la segunda que el concepto de low cost no significaba vuelos inseguros. Despu\u00e9s de estas prioridades, hubo algunos temas m\u00e1s pol\u00edticos, como la condici\u00f3n de argentina de la compa\u00f1ia y el uso de El Palomar. \/>\n<p>Al mismo tiempo que Flybondi iba haci\u00e9ndose conocer y propon\u00eda novedades que parec\u00edan positivas, el sector aeron\u00e1utico nacionalista tradicional, que siempre enfrent\u00f3 a cualquier competidor local de Aerol\u00edneas Argentinas, empez\u00f3 a desperezarse y actuar para que Flybondi y el resto de las nuevas compa\u00f1\u00edas creadas a la sombra de la revoluci\u00f3n por los sindicatos (imagen PLP).<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong>La hora de la verdad<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Flybondi empez\u00f3 a volar regularmente el 26 de enero de 2018. Como toda empresa nueva, tuvo sus sobresaltos, pero pudo mantener la regularidad prometida, con las limitaciones de una pol\u00edtica de operaciones pensada sobre la base de que los aviones no tendr\u00edan ning\u00fan percance, algo que no sucedi\u00f3 y dio lugar a demoras y cancelaciones que no fueron muy bien resueltas. Con pocos aviones y horarios exigentes no se pod\u00edan hacer milagros, y no se hicieron (ver <em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gacetaeronautica.com\/gaceta\/wp-101\/?p=29247\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Flybondi (II): La realidad<\/a><\/strong><\/em>). La empresa trat\u00f3 de mostrar una puntualidad que no ten\u00eda, e hizo todas las trampas tradicionales en este tema. alpargatas, el dulce de leche, un aplauso para el asador, los feriados puente, la frase de Bal\u00e1 un kilo y dos pancitos, la milanga a caballo con fritas, el comandante Ricardo Fort, La Mona Jim\u00e9nez y alg\u00fan otro s\u00edmbolo popular de la patria. El objetivo se cumpli\u00f3 a fines de julio de 2018, cuando una resoluci\u00f3n del Ministerio de Transporte oficializ\u00f3 la libertad total para fijar precios. Inmediatamente la empresa amarilla mejor\u00f3 sus ofertas, cuyo piso se ubic\u00f3 en los 199 pesos. Aerol\u00edneas se ubic\u00f3 en 500.<\/p>\n<p>En febrero lleg\u00f3 la oferta de pasajes a un peso pero, sumadas las tasas y los impuestos, los pasajeros deb\u00edan pagar m\u00e1s de doscientos. Cuando entr\u00f3 JetSmart al mercado, se hizo cargo de las tasas, y Flybondi la sigui\u00f3. Desde su nacimiento hab\u00eda transportado m\u00e1s de 2.500.000 pasajeros, pero su punto d\u00e9bil era la puntualidad y la confiabilidad de su flota, que ten\u00eda fallas que generaban la cancelaci\u00f3n de muchos vuelos. En enero de 2020, seg\u00fan las mediciones de la ANAC, tuvo el 9% del market share de cabotaje.<\/p>\n<p>Julian Cook, declar\u00f3 entonces que, ante el regreso del peronismo, se ir\u00eda del pa\u00eds, definiendo al partido ganador de las elecciones como un \u00abc\u00e1ncer\u00bb. El lema de Flybondi ahora era \u201cEl Palomar o nada\u201d. Hab\u00eda superado todas las maniobras que buscaron tumbarla y, quiz\u00e1s por eso, hubo menos turbulencia pol\u00edtica en su contra, por lo que no tuvo necesidad de tocar ese tema en su publicidad.
