Por lo general el tramo final es as\u00ed, pero casi siempre hay sensores que entran en contacto directo con la informaci\u00f3n, que suele ser anal\u00f3gica porque el universo es anal\u00f3gico, y alimentan al sistema digital de procesamiento. El problema es que todo eso puede fallar.<\/p>\n<p>Pero, por suerte, existen algunos instrumentos, desarrollados hace mucho tiempo, que no fallan nunca, entre los cuales est\u00e1 la plomada, el nivel de burbuja y la varilla medidora del nivel de l\u00edquidos.<\/p>\n<p>El aprovisionamiento de combustible a las aeronaves en los primeros tiempos, se hac\u00eda con bidones o latas que, embudo mediante, descargaban el l\u00edquido en los tanques, que sol\u00edan estar en las alas o cerca de ellas, para que el consumo del l\u00edquido no afectara el centro de gravedad. Cuando se usaba nafta en vez de los combustibles actuales, era obligatorio que todos los pasajeros descendieran del avi\u00f3n por razones de seguridad. Deb\u00edan tomarse cuidados para evitar los derrames de combustible ante la eventualidad de que el tanque se desbordara y, en la medida en que estamos hablando de recipientes no transparentes, era necesario tener un mecanismo que permitieraa saber cu\u00e1nto carburante hab\u00eda almacenado para establecer cu\u00e1nto se pod\u00eda agregar.<\/p>\n<p>Los aviones ten\u00edan en sus tableros de comando instrumentos para medir el nivel de llenado de los tanques, pero estos instrumentos eran el\u00e9ctricos, por lo que exig\u00edan un suministro de energ\u00eda que no siempre estaba disponible en una aeronave detenida. Adem\u00e1s, como estaban en el cockpit, no estaban a la vista del personal que realizaba la tarea.<\/p>\n<p>En tiempos de los pistoneros, estas limitaciones eran serias, pero se subsanaban con un instrumento infalible, la varilla medidora, que no era otra cosa que un palo que se introduc\u00eda por el orificio de carga del tanque y, seg\u00fan hasta d\u00f3nde se mojara, indicaba con precisi\u00f3n la cantidad de fluido que hab\u00eda en el dep\u00f3sito.
