en Long Beach, Los \u00c1ngeles (California), y se le asign\u00f3 el n\u00famero <strong>BuNo (Oficina de Aeron\u00e1utica) 159473.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Entregado al escuadr\u00f3n VMA-223 del <strong>Cuerpo de Marines de los Estados Unidos (USMC)<\/strong> el 31\/07\/1975, el avi\u00f3n tuvo una carrera variada en los EE.UU.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Servicio estadounidense<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Tras iniciar operaciones con el VMA-223 para realizar vuelos rutinarios de entrenamiento, el 28\/04\/1976 fue reasignado al VMA-311 en el Marine Corps Air Station regres\u00f3 al VMA-311 el 09\/06\/1977 y el 10\/11\/1983 pas\u00f3 al VMA-211, que lo reubic\u00f3 en la Estaci\u00f3n A\u00e9rea Naval (NAS) Iwakuni en Jap\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>El 21\/12\/1984, fue reasignado al VMAT-102 en MCAS Yuma (Arizona), cuya funci\u00f3n principal era entrenar nuevos pilotos en la funci\u00f3n de apoyo a\u00e9reo cercano.<\/p>\n<p>El 12\/09\/1987 se traslad\u00f3 al Marine Air Group 49 (MAG-49) en NAS Willow Grove (Pensilvania), realizando misiones de entrenamiento y permaneciendo disponible para emergencias.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_51082\" la NAS Miramar (California), donde fue empleado en el papel de agresor.<\/p>\n<p>Dos a\u00f1os m\u00e1s tarde, el 24\/05\/1994, fue retirado del servicio activo y almacenado en el Centro de Regeneraci\u00f3n y Mantenimiento Aeroespacial (AMARC), con el <strong>n\u00famero de inventario 3A777.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>El 03\/10\/1995 fue vendido a la <strong>Fuerza A\u00e9rea Argentina<\/strong> (FAA) en un lote de fuselajes excedentes de A-4M Skyhawk II que nunca volar\u00edan en el pa\u00eds y sirvi\u00f3 para obtener repuestos para 36 aviones similares que fueron \/>\n<p>En 2010, el \u00c1rea de Material R\u00edo Cuarto (ARMACUAR) de la FAA, lo don\u00f3 a la ciudad de Leones para ser colocado como monumento en memoria del soldado conscripto <strong>Jos\u00e9 Luis Allende<\/strong>, nativo de Leones que muri\u00f3 en combate el 28\/05\/1982 mientras luchaba con la Secci\u00f3n \u00abR\u00bb del Regimiento de Infanter\u00eda 25 durante la Batalla de Darwin , en la Guerra de Malvinas.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Honrando a un conscripto de Leones fallecido en combate<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Un gran n\u00famero de vecinos se reunieron durante las horas de la siesta del martes 30\/11\/2010, para ver a los t\u00e9cnicos de ARMACUAR elevar el Skyhawk a su pedestal final con la ayuda de una gr\u00faa de Reale y Serri Construcciones.<\/p>\n<p>El monumento esta ubicado en la esquina noroeste del predio ferroviario a unos 300 metros de la estaci\u00f3n de trenes de Leones y ocupa unos 340 metros cuadrados de superficie.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_51084\" Suboficial Mayor N\u00e9stor Miloch, el Suboficial Principal V\u00edctor Rol\u00f3n, Personal Superior Jorge Bernardes, y los Supervisores Sergio Hirsuta y Hugo Gorostidi.<\/p>\n<p>La intendencia de Leones brind\u00f3 una valiosa ayuda, con el ingeniero Rosso, el arquitecto Eduardo Hart\u00f3n, el jefe de almac\u00e9n de materiales, Gustavo Emiliani, y diversos t\u00e9cnicos tanto del municipio
