En funci\u00f3n de ello, las aerol\u00edneas se est\u00e1n adaptando lo mejor que pueden a las consecuencias de la nueva guerra entre Israel y Hamas.<\/p>\n<p>En t\u00e9rminos del impacto inmediato a la conectividad, la mayor\u00eda de las compa\u00f1\u00edas a\u00e9reas internacionales han reducido o dejado de prestar servicios en el aeropuerto Ben Gurion de Tel Aviv, prometiendo revisiones peri\u00f3dicas de esa decisi\u00f3n. Se puede ver un mix de vuelos en curso, programados o cancelados.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Inicialmente esto gener\u00f3 operaciones de evacuaci\u00f3n de turistas bloqueados en el destino, o ciudadanos con doble nacionalidad que deseaban retornar, al menos moment\u00e1neamente, a sus pa\u00edses de origen. Para ello varias fuerzas a\u00e9reas realizaron vuelos de traslado.<\/p>\n<p>Por otra parte, no se puede negar que tambi\u00e9n hubo alrededor de 30 aerol\u00edneas ofrecieron al menos 50 vuelos de regreso al pa\u00eds la segunda semana de octubre de 2023<strong><a href=\"#_ftn1\" name=\"_ftnref1\"><sup>[1]<\/sup><\/a><\/strong>. En la imagen lo vemos en su habitual base de Larnaca, Chipre (foto: Fernando Puppio).<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong>Como era volar en Medio Oriente hasta octubre de 2023<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Para el pasajero, volar a Turqu\u00eda, L\u00edbano, Israel o Egipto, implica c\u00f3mo m\u00ednimo lidiar con varias capas de seguridad adicionales, que no se ven en otros lugares.<\/p>\n<p>M\u00e1s all\u00e1 de los cuestionarios impresos, visados, y las preguntas de agentes en los controles fronterizos, o en la fila del check-in, el paso por dos y hasta tres arcos de seguridad y su respectivo esc\u00e1ner de equipajes asociado, es una incomodidad tan frecuente como necesaria. Las tarifas b\u00e1sicas incluyen desde el primer momento una o dos maletas en bodega, equipaje de mano, selecci\u00f3n de asientos, catering muy completo y cierta posibilidad de cambios en la reserva. Los precios son competitivos y el servicio a bordo de primera calidad.<\/p>\n<p>Por su parte el servicio de las aerol\u00edneas israel\u00edes guarda una calidad igual o superior a la media antes de la infame invasi\u00f3n terrorista estaba a unos pocos puntos porcentuales de la paridad con los niveles de 2019.<\/p>\n<p>De hecho, Israel ya se convirti\u00f3 antes de la pandemia en un popular destino mediterr\u00e1neo para un gran n\u00famero de turistas, y una amplia variedad de aerol\u00edneas europeas y norteamericanas volando a Tel Aviv.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_51189\" de que el aeropuerto Ben Gurion est\u00e1 abierto, las decisiones de reducir la capacidad se basan en factores como las evaluaciones de seguridad y la disponibilidad (y el costo) de los seguros para \u00a0europeas, norteamericanas, africanas, chinas, y del Golfo P\u00e9rsico. Obviamente las aerol\u00edneas israel\u00edes contin\u00faan volando desde, y hacia, el aeropuerto Ben Gurion.<\/p>\n<p>Las aerol\u00edneas vuelan en un \u00e1mbito de capacidad limitada, por lo que la reasignaci\u00f3n de capacidad no es necesariamente el desaf\u00edo que alguna vez pudo haber sido.
