{"id":52367,"date":"2024-03-07T17:00:47","date_gmt":"2024-03-07T16:00:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.gacetaeronautica.com\/gaceta\/wp-101\/?p=52367"},"modified":"2024-03-06T09:59:40","modified_gmt":"2024-03-06T08:59:40","slug":"fidae-2004-punto-de-inflexion","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.gacetaeronautica.com\/gaceta\/wp-101\/fidae-2004-punto-de-inflexion\/","title":{"rendered":"FIDAE 2004: Punto de inflexi\u00f3n"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hace ya 20 a\u00f1os atr\u00e1s, la Feria Internacional del Aire y del espacio FIDAE, se encontraba en punto de inflexi\u00f3n, despu\u00e9s de haberse convertido en la \u00fanica exposici\u00f3n de su tipo en Latinoam\u00e9rica desde el a\u00f1o 1980 en que se efectu\u00f3 la primera edici\u00f3n en la base a\u00e9rea El Bosque. Un proceso paulatino de descenso en la cantidad de expositores, un mercado sin mayores planes de adquisici\u00f3n en materia civil y militar despu\u00e9s de, por ejemplo, haber sido adjudicado el proyecto caza 2000 que mantuvo al mundo de la defensa concentrado en dos ediciones de FIDAE (1998 y 2000), y la incertidumbre causada por el inminente cierre del aeropuerto de Los Cerrillos que le serv\u00eda de hogar.<\/p>\n<p>FIDAE 2004 se llev\u00f3 a cabo desde el lunes 29 de marzo al domingo 04 de abril.\u00a0 La inauguraci\u00f3n fue presidida por el presidente de la rep\u00fablica Ricardo Lagos Escobar, el comandante en jefe de la FACH General del Aire Osvaldo Sarabia Vilches y la ministra de Defensa Michelle Bachelet Jeria (a la cual le corresponder\u00eda inaugurar FIDAE 2006 como presidenta de la rep\u00fablica).<\/p>\n<p>Poco antes del d\u00eda inaugural fue anunciada la continuidad de la exposici\u00f3n el a\u00f1o 2006 en nuevas instalaciones que ser\u00edan construidas para ese fin en el grupo N\u00b010 de transporte, ubicadas en la zona norte del aeropuerto Arturo Merino Ben\u00edtez. Esto debido a que ya estaba fijado para el a\u00f1o 2005 el cierre de los Cerrillos para construir un proyecto inmobiliario y un parque.<\/p>\n<p>Por lo tanto, esta ser\u00eda la \u00faltima edici\u00f3n que se llevar\u00eda a cabo en el aeropuerto Los Cerrillos noticia que alegro a muchos vecinos aleda\u00f1os al aeropuerto, ya que \u00e9ste estaba inserto en una populosa \u00e1rea de la ciudad de Santiago y los reclamos por la contaminaci\u00f3n ac\u00fastica acompa\u00f1aron a la feria en todas las ediciones en que se desarroll\u00f3 all\u00ed.<\/p>\n<p>FIDAE se esforz\u00f3 por tomar medidas que redujeran el impacto ambiental que las operaciones a\u00e9reas provocaban sobre todo en las jornadas matutinas de la semana. height: 211px;\" \/> <\/a> <div class=\"tiled-gallery-caption\" itemprop=\"caption description\"> Royal Air Force E-3D Sentry de alerta a\u00e9rea temprana (foto: Luis Quintana). <\/div> <\/div> <\/div> <!-- close group --> <\/div> <!-- close row --> <\/div>\n<p>La guinda de la torta para el p\u00fablico fue poder apreciar en vuelo una vez m\u00e1s en FIDAE al Lockheed Martin F-16C, pero esta vez con un saber diferente debido a su reciente adquisici\u00f3n por parte de la fuerza a\u00e9rea de Chile en el marco del plan de renovaci\u00f3n de la flota de combate, proyecto caza 2000 el cual en octubre del a\u00f1o 2003 ya lo hab\u00eda anunciado como ganador.<\/p>\n<p>Dos unidades de este modelo fueron presentadas en esta edici\u00f3n de la feria por parte de la USAF provenientes del Viper West Demo Team, siendo apoyados en su traslado por un avi\u00f3n KC-135 y un C-130H.\u00a0 El toque ex\u00f3tico por el lado militar lo entrego por parte de los due\u00f1os de casa la presencia (solo para el d\u00eda inaugural) del, hasta ese momento, muy poco observado EB-707 Condor de la FACH y desde el extranjero la visita por primera vez en el pa\u00eds y en la feria de un Boeing E-3D Sentry de la Royal Air Force.<\/p>\n<p>El \u00fanico d\u00eda de la semana que estaba planificado su demostraci\u00f3n en vuelo hubo nubes bajas y lluvias por lo que se suspendi\u00f3 la actividad y su presencia se limit\u00f3 a exposici\u00f3n est\u00e1tica, toda la feria. Por la otra vereda Boeing si bien como compa\u00f1\u00eda no se present\u00f3 con aeronaves hacia presencia con un ejemplar de LAN de Boeing 737-204 CC-CSI (al menos el d\u00eda inaugural) y con otro Boeing 737-287 esta vez de Aerol\u00edneas Argentinas que promocionaba su \u00fanico ejemplar hasta esa fecha convertido a configuraci\u00f3n VIP con capacidad de 29 pasajeros (LV-JTD), en un proyecto que fue lanzado en Mayo del 2003 y que presentaba hasta esa fecha un promedio de 7 vuelos mensuales transportando a personalidades como Carlos Menen, Nestor Kitchner y Carlos Santana, entre otros. Aerol\u00edneas Argentinas (bajo la administraci\u00f3n de grupo Marsans) esperaba poder aumentar a dos aparatos convertidos dependiendo de la demanda, cosa que finalmente no ocurri\u00f3, siendo este aparato dado de baja a finales del a\u00f1o 2007, estando preservado en la actualidad en el parque la Rep\u00fablica de los ni\u00f1os en Buenos Aires. Cessna presento un flamante modelo Caravan con interior VIP apostando a un traslado ejecutivo con los costes de un avi\u00f3n turbohelice, aparte de presentar por segunda vez en FIDAE un modelo de su modelo Citation CJ-2.<\/p>\n<p>Las alas rotativas presentaban una singular novedad con la presencia de la compa\u00f1\u00eda polaca PZL Sokol y su modelo W-3A con los colores de su propia filial Heliseco, compa\u00f1\u00eda que presta servicios alrededor del mundo principalmente en rol de extinci\u00f3n de incendios forestales.\u00a0 El aparato realizo una campa\u00f1a de exhibiciones pre y post feria para las diferentes ramas de las FF.AA. Chilenas y otros estamentos, logrando a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s venden un aparato a CONAF en una muy controvertida adquisici\u00f3n.\u00a0 Otro novedoso participante que eso si no alcanzo a llegar a la feria pero despu\u00e9s de ella tambi\u00e9n estuvo en demostraciones con las FF.AA Chilenas fue el modelo de helic\u00f3ptero Dhruv\u00a0 de Hindutsan aeronautics, el cual no logro obtener ventas con posterioridad.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>ENAER<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Los anuncios de negocios curiosamente tambi\u00e9n reflejaron el escaso atractivo que presentaba la feria en general.\u00a0 Enaer anunci\u00f3 su incorporaci\u00f3n al proyecto del light jet Eclipse, para el cual fabricar\u00eda el morro del aparato en un contrato que promet\u00eda la construcci\u00f3n de m\u00e1s de 5.000 conjuntos hasta el a\u00f1o 2012, por un monto aproximado superior a los 100 millones de d\u00f3lares.\u00a0Lamentablemente la empresa fabricante aparato quebr\u00f3 y hacia el 2008 ENAER ya no constru\u00eda la nariz del aparato.<\/p>\n<p>Otro anuncio de ENAER en esta edici\u00f3n de FIDAE qued\u00f3 al debe al ser anunciado que Lockheed Martin le confer\u00eda la categor\u00eda de \u201cH\u00e9rcules service center\u201d autorizado para mantenimiento integral, lo que unido a acuerdo de marketing de dos a\u00f1os llevar\u00eda a ENAER a acceder a otros clientes en Sudam\u00e9rica y \u00c1frica, esperando llegar a realizar trabajos en hasta 12 aviones por a\u00f1o.\u00a0 En el tiempo se ha visto que este anuncio no fructifico como se esperaba y aparte del
