Destaca Atenas como principal destino con dos vuelos diarios en de Marzo a Octubre, y un vuelo diario el resto del a\u00f1o. Equipado con una disposici\u00f3n de asientos totalmente econ\u00f3mica, cada avi\u00f3n ten\u00eda capacidad para 144 pasajeros. Estas aeronaves cesaron sus operaciones entre 2021 y 2022, lo que dio lugar a su almacenamiento y posterior desguace.<\/p>\n<p>A partir de ese momento, Chipre Airways emprendi\u00f3 una importante ampliaci\u00f3n de su flota realizando pedidos de cuatro aviones Airbus A320-200. El primero de estos aviones entr\u00f3 en servicio en mayo de 2022, seguido de cerca por el segundo en julio de 2022. La empresa no intenta atraer a los viajeros de las lowcosts, ya que sus clientes habituales del la regi\u00f3n del Mediterr\u00e1neo Oriental y Medio Orientes valora mucho la comodidad y el servicio.<\/p>\n<p>A pesar de la situaci\u00f3n b\u00e9lica desatado por el terrorismo de Hamas y Hezbollah el pasado 7 de octubre de 2023, hay un gran tr\u00e1fico desde el L\u00edbano. Por su parte, 40.000 israel\u00edes viven en Chipre. En ambos casos la gente tiende a acudir en masa a la isla cada vez que hay conflicto en la regi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_53917\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-53917\"
