La conectividad entre Italia y argentina no vari\u00f3 tras el paso de Alitalia a ITA Airways (foto: Fernando Puppio).<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<hr \/>\n<p>La adquisici\u00f3n por parte del Grupo Lufthansa de una participaci\u00f3n en la aerol\u00ednea italiana ITA Airways ha sido finalmente aprobada por los reguladores europeos de la competencia, tras la aceptaci\u00f3n de los candidatos a la adopci\u00f3n de medidas correctivas. La aerol\u00ednea afirma que la autorizaci\u00f3n se basa en las medidas correctivas acordadas por las partes, y a\u00f1ade que \u00abseguir\u00e1 trabajando en apoyo\u00bb del ministerio para cerrar la transacci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Los ejecutivos de ITA, la ex Alitalia, consignaron que la empresa <em>\u201cacoge con satisfacci\u00f3n la aprobaci\u00f3n final\u00bb<\/em> de la transacci\u00f3n, que implica la transferencia de la participaci\u00f3n en la empresa del Ministerio de Econom\u00eda y Finanzas italiano al operador alem\u00e1n.<\/p>\n<p>Tras la aprobaci\u00f3n de la Comisi\u00f3n Europea del pasado 29 de noviembre de 2024, Lufthansa y el ministerio italiano pueden completar la adquisici\u00f3n e implementarla. IAG y Air France-KLM fueron elegidas como las que adoptaron las medidas correctivas en las rutas de larga distancia. La Comisi\u00f3n ha aceptado a los tres candidatos, que afirma que cumplen los criterios de independencia respecto de Lufthansa, el ministerio e ITA, y que adem\u00e1s se presentan como competidores viables sin riesgo de retrasos en la aplicaci\u00f3n de las medidas.<\/p>\n<p>Cabe destacar que la Comisi\u00f3n s\u00f3lo acepta a los candidatos propuestos cuando est\u00e1 \u00abconvencida\u00bb de que tienen la capacidad y el inter\u00e9s para operar de una manera que se constituya una competencia de forma duradera y estable.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>EasyJet se lanza a ocupar espacios<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Por su parte, easyJet revel\u00f3 durante su reciente informe financiero anual que planeaba construir nuevas bases en Roma Fiumicino y Mil\u00e1n Linate como resultado de las medidas correctivas. EasyJet ha obtenido slots en Roma y Mil\u00e1n como parte de la aprobaci\u00f3n para la fusi\u00f3n de Lufthansa con ITA.<\/p>\n<p>A partir de la primavera europea de2025, instalar\u00e1 cinco aviones en Linate y otros tres en Fiumicino. Las medidas correctivas para los vuelos de corto recorrido aprobadas por la Comisi\u00f3n Europea se centraron en las rutas a determinados aeropuertos de Europa central desde Roma y\/o Mil\u00e1n.<\/p>\n<p>En teor\u00eda estas medidas correctivas deber\u00e1n garantizar\u00e1n que el mercado italiano siga teniendo competidores en aquellas rutas que operan ITA y Lufthansa.<\/p>\n<p>Ejemplo de lo anterior son las nuevas rutas, que comenzar\u00e1n a operar a partir de marzo y junio,\u00a0 que conectar\u00e1n Mil\u00e1n Linate con los aeropuertos espa\u00f1oles en Barcelona, Ibiza, Palma de Mallorca y Tenerife Sur. Con estas conexiones, la aerol\u00ednea prev\u00e9 un incremento del 6% en el flujo de pasajeros entre Espa\u00f1a e Italia.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Lufthansa si, Iberia no<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>La aprobaci\u00f3n de la fusi\u00f3n Lufthansa-ITA, casi exactamente un a\u00f1o despu\u00e9s de que la Comisi\u00f3n fuera notificada de la propuesta, se produce tras una investigaci\u00f3n exhaustiva sobre el posible impacto en la competencia.
