Una de las primeras cosas que dijo fue que Eurnekian le ten\u00eda miedo, en octubre de 2002 calific\u00f3 a Cirielli de \u201creh\u00e9n del pasado\u201d, y hay decenas de ejemplos similares.<\/p>\n<p>En el oto\u00f1o de 2006, en medio de un conflicto gremial importante, Mata Ramayo fue el fusible, que salt\u00f3 para llegar a un acuerdo, y debi\u00f3 dejar la presidencia de Aerol\u00edneas Argentinas siendo reemplazado por Esteban Maccari. Un tiempo despu\u00e9s vendi\u00f3 su participaci\u00f3n accionaria en la empresa en m\u00e1s de cien millones de d\u00f3lares.<\/p>\n<p>Una cl\u00e1usula del acuerdo que firm\u00f3 entonces con sus antiguos socios, D\u00edaz Ferr\u00e1n y Pascual Arias, le imped\u00eda, por dos a\u00f1os, hacer negocios aeron\u00e1uticos competitivos con los de Marsans, pero muy pronto su nombre estuvo directamente vinculado con una nueva empresa en formaci\u00f3n, Air Pampas. Algunos observadores supusieron entonces que estaba asociado con Juan Jos\u00e9 Hidalgo, cabeza del grupo espa\u00f1ol Globalia, titular, entre otras empresas, de Air Europa, competidor claro de Marsans en el viejo continente.<\/p>\n<p>En agosto de 2007 public\u00f3 avisos en los diarios de Buenos Aires solicitando personal aeron\u00e1utico de todas las especialidades, anunci\u00f3 que operar\u00eda una flota de veinticinco MD-83 y que sus destinos iniciales ser\u00edan los tradicionales, Bariloche, Calafate, C\u00f3rdoba, y Mendoza. Lleg\u00f3 a tener oficinas, y contrat\u00f3 alg\u00fan personal, en parte salido de Aerol\u00edneas Argentinas.<\/p>\n<p>Pero, como suele ocurrir en la Argentina, el principal desaf\u00edo que tuvo que enfrentar fue el pol\u00edtico, porque en ese momento el gobierno ten\u00eda la estrategia \u2014mantenida hasta ahora\u2014 de no autorizar a nadie a ingresar en el mercado aeron\u00e1utico.<\/p>\n<p>Mientras tanto, Mata Ramayo decidi\u00f3 publicar un nuevo diario en Buenos Aires, que se llam\u00f3 <em>Cr\u00edtica de la Argentina<\/em>, contratando al famoso periodista Jorge Lanata para dirigirlo. Al principio fueron formales, pero pronto el humor fue infiltr\u00e1ndose hasta llegar a cosas como la que mostramos hoy, publicada el 25 de mayo de 2008, en la que si bien el texto es normal para un caso como \u00e9ste, se incluye una caricatura del secretario de transportes Jaime que es ins\u00f3lita. Creo que esta serie es un caso \u00fanico en la prensa argentina.<\/p>\n<p>Mata Ramayo, que en sus tiempos de Aerol\u00edneas Argentinas hab\u00eda dicho (refiri\u00e9ndose a Cirielli) \u201cyo no estoy dispuesto a vivir de rodillas con nadie, si quieren guerra la van a tener\u201d extendi\u00f3 su ofensiva a otros campos, y lleg\u00f3 a hacer una denuncia muy fuerte en una entrevista publicada en la revista <em>Noticias<\/em> el 13 de junio de 2008 en la que sostuvo que el Gobierno le hab\u00eda pedido una coima de seis millones de d\u00f3lares para autorizar la operaci\u00f3n de la empresa. Para hacer m\u00e1s confuso todo, se\u00f1al\u00f3 que lo que se le hab\u00eda pedido fue que comprara Safe Flight, del grupo Cirigliano, en ese importe.<\/p>\n<p>Air Pampas nunca fue autorizada a operar.
