Adem\u00e1s de ser un hito publicitario, se supone que estos documentos, que tienen cierta complejidad, son los que regir\u00e1n sus decisiones industriales y comerciales.<\/p>\n<p>Vengo analizando estas publicaciones desde 1996, cuando publiqu\u00e9 un art\u00edculo en la revista <em>Alas,<\/em> y veo que varias cosas han cambiado con el correr de los a\u00f1os. Hasta no hace mucho, lo m\u00e1s destacado era el valor pecuniario de estos pron\u00f3sticos, una informaci\u00f3n que hoy s\u00f3lo brinda Embraer, de modo bastante confuso. Probablemente nadie crea en los precios de los aviones nuevos que publican los fabricantes, y esto lo confirmar\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p>Tambi\u00e9n se observa una disminuci\u00f3n constante de la informaci\u00f3n metodol\u00f3gica, que fue muy densa y ahora casi no existe, o se limita a datos copiados de alguna consultora o banco internacional.<\/p>\n<p>Hoy no parece haber muchas discrepancias, pero las hubo en otros momentos. En un tiempo el tema en discusi\u00f3n fue sobre los bimotores, trimotores o cuatrimotores y m\u00e1s recientemente, Airbus despleg\u00f3 informaci\u00f3n muy detallada sobre por qu\u00e9 el mercado necesitaba un avi\u00f3n del tama\u00f1o del A-380 y Boeing insist\u00eda en que no ve\u00eda tal necesidad.<\/p>\n<p>En las ediciones de este a\u00f1o, Airbus marca el potencial de sus A-220 y A-321XLR, dos productos que no tienen un equivalente en el cat\u00e1logo de Boeing.<\/p>\n<p>Como l\u00ednea de conducta, Airbus siempre se caracteriz\u00f3 por incluir m\u00e1s informaci\u00f3n te\u00f3rica sobre la econom\u00eda mundial, aunque estos temas ya casi no tienen lugar en los informes. Otra caracter\u00edstica es que es muy dif\u00edcil hacer una comparaci\u00f3n por las diferencias metodol\u00f3gicas entre ambos, que siempre parten de bases num\u00e9ricas distintas. Como ocurre siempre en este tipo de estudios aeron\u00e1uticos, los pa\u00edses m\u00e1s destacados son islas (en este caso Islandia, con una contribuci\u00f3n de la aviaci\u00f3n a su PBI del 25,1% y la Rep\u00fablica Dominicana, con el 10,6%) Tambi\u00e9n como siempre, quedar\u00e1 la duda sobre c\u00f3mo se mide esto. La cifra final, que supuestamente \u00a0valida todo, es que el transporte a\u00e9reo genera el 3,9% de la econom\u00eda mundial.<\/p>\n<p>Airbus, al igual que Boeing, marca el crecimiento en lo que va del siglo, pero por cuestiones metodol\u00f3gicas los n\u00fameros no son comparables. Toma como ejemplo m\u00e1ximo el caso de Vietnam, cuyo tr\u00e1fico se multiplic\u00f3 por 7,5 en veinte a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<p>El cap\u00edtulo siguiente est\u00e1 dedicado al compromiso de la empresa kil\u00f3metro. El volumen dom\u00e9stico de China, un mercado inmaduro, est\u00e1 por encima de cualquier especulaci\u00f3n que pueda hacerse, pero el mayor crecimiento porcentual corresponde al dom\u00e9stico de India. Brasil, con todos los problemas que le conocemos, logra ubicarse en el puesto n\u00famero 20 (CAGR significa Tasa de crecimiento anual compuesta).<img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" Boeing es el principal protagonista de esa crisis, pero Airbus tambi\u00e9n tiene sus problemas, que en ambos casos se reflejan mayormente en un retraso de las entregas de ambas. Ninguno de los dos trata el tema.<\/p>\n<p>Tambi\u00e9n hay otra crisis, relacionada con el calentamiento global y c\u00f3mo est\u00e1 actuando la industria aerocomercial para enfrentarla (si est\u00e1 actuando m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de las declaraciones). Boeing no dice nada, y los europeos, si bien lo mencionan no profundizan sobre su influencia en el mercado que, como m\u00ednimo como consecuencia de que los costos ser\u00e1n mucho mayores.<\/p>\n<p>Ambos informes est\u00e1n escritos como si dentro de veinte a\u00f1os los aviones ser\u00e1n los mismos que est\u00e1n hoy en las l\u00edneas de producci\u00f3n, con sus virtudes, sus defectos y sus limitaciones. \u00bfQu\u00e9 tama\u00f1o tendr\u00e1 un avi\u00f3n de un pasillo en 2045? \u00bfy uno grande? \/>El cuarto fabricante de aeronaves comerciales del mundo occidental, ATR, tambi\u00e9n hace sus pron\u00f3sticos. Si bien sus n\u00fameros son m\u00e1s modestos, el trabajo tiene algunos puntos interesantes, como la toma de conciencia de que ser\u00e1 en este sector donde debutar\u00e1n los futuros aviones el\u00e9ctricos, h\u00edbridos o de hidr\u00f3geno.<\/p>\n<p>Este informe, cuantifica las necesidades de aviones de entre cincuenta y setenta asientos y cargueros algo menores, pero no se mete con la demanda de los productos m\u00e1s chicos.<\/p>\n<p>Despu\u00e9s de pronosticar que en los pr\u00f3ximos a\u00f1os la oferta del transporte a\u00e9reo regional crecer\u00e1 m\u00e1s que el PBI (5,7% contra 2,3% anual) plantea los principales ejes de su estudio:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>En los pr\u00f3ximos 20 a\u00f1os la demanda mundial de turboh\u00e9lices ser\u00e1 de 2100 aeronaves.<\/li>\n<li>El mercado seguir\u00e1 vi\u00e9ndose afectado tanto por las limitaciones de producci\u00f3n de aeronaves en el sector aeroespacial como por una situaci\u00f3n geopol\u00edtica incierta.<\/li>\n<li>En la aviaci\u00f3n regional, el envejecimiento de las flotas y la limitada producci\u00f3n de aeronaves han afectado a las flotas en servicio, con m\u00e1s aeronaves retiradas que entrantes. Por eso, la demanda de turboh\u00e9lices en los pr\u00f3ximos 10 a\u00f1os se centrar\u00e1 principalmente en la sustituci\u00f3n de aeronaves, mientras que la segunda d\u00e9cada estar\u00e1 m\u00e1s orientada al crecimiento.<\/li>\n<li>La creaci\u00f3n de nuevas rutas ser\u00e1 el principal impulsor de la expansi\u00f3n de la flota de turboh\u00e9lices.<\/li>\n<li>Prev\u00e9 que la flota alcanzar\u00e1 las 2.530 aeronaves para 2044, con 2.100 entregas de m\u00e1quinas nuevas.<\/li>\n<li>En el futuro, los precios del combustible, los impuestos sobre las emisiones y los programas medioambientales reforzar\u00e1n el atractivo de los turboh\u00e9lices como la aeronave m\u00e1s asequible y sostenible para volar rutas regionales.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Sigue el gr\u00e1fico de la tecnol\u00f3gicos y cambios geopol\u00edticos que generan incertidumbre a la hora de invertir (un modo elegante de hablar de las pol\u00edticas de Trump).<\/p>\n<p>A continuaci\u00f3n llama la atenci\u00f3n sobre el rol social de la aviaci\u00f3n regional, que define como el medio m\u00e1s eficiente para reducir los impactos negativos del aislamiento, destacando que 1.280 rutas operadas con estos aviones tienen funci\u00f3n social y que el 80% de los vuelos denominados \u201cPublic Service Obligation\u201d de la Uni\u00f3n Europea (algo parecido a lo aqu\u00ed llamamos servicios de fomento) se prestan con turboh\u00e9lices.<\/p>\n<p>Siguen consideraciones sobre el apoyo de la aviaci\u00f3n regional al crecimiento de las econom\u00edas de todo el mundo, y muestra casos de crecimiento de la conectividad en Estados Unidos, India, Jap\u00f3n, Indonesia, las islas Brit\u00e1nicas, etc\u00e9tera.<\/p>\n<p>A esta altura, no estamos frente a un pron\u00f3stico, sino a una
