Chile?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Una vez que el pa\u00eds recuper\u00f3 parte de su estabilidad democr\u00e1tica tras dos intentos fallidos de reformular su constituci\u00f3n, nuestras investigaciones revelaron que la mayor\u00eda de las formaciones (pero no todas) sol\u00edan sobrevolar la <strong>cordillera del Cerro La Regi\u00f3n<\/strong> antes de ingresar al Gran Santiago desde el norte, en Pan de Az\u00facar<\/strong>, un hito distintivo de 914 metros de altitud en la entrada sur de Chicureo (un suburbio a 22 km. al norte del Parque O&#8217;Higgins), y lo escalamos el 19 de septiembre sin ninguna exploraci\u00f3n previa, solo para descubrir que era bastante inadecuado para nuestros prop\u00f3sitos: Dificultando la capacidad del sensor de nuestra c\u00e1mara para detectar aviones en movimiento r\u00e1pido, la mayor parte de las formaciones volaban a 2,8 km. o m\u00e1s al este de nuestra posici\u00f3n, con la luz del sol en sus colas y nubes de tormenta y el macizo de los Andes de sobrevolando el Pan de Az\u00facar en una larga aproximaci\u00f3n inicial a Pudahuel para aterrizar de sur a norte en la pista 35 debido a un clima inusual\u2026 \u00a1y pudimos vislumbrar c\u00f3mo Bertea (quien reside en Chicureo desde hace m\u00e1s de 20 a\u00f1os) y la reserva de tiempo para hacer una excursi\u00f3n exploratoria previa dieron como resultado un mejor prospecto ubicado en el <strong>Cerro El Huitre<\/strong>, de 900 metros de altitud, y ubicado 3,2 km. al este del Pan de Az\u00facar y en el mismo cord\u00f3n que el Cerro La Regi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<figure
