Cuando comenz\u00f3 el conflicto la red de esta empresa cubr\u00eda casi todo el planeta, y el plan era crecer como nunca cuando llegara la paz.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">La Convenci\u00f3n de Chicago de 1944 fue un parte de este programa, porque su objetivo primordial fue establecer cielos abiertos en todo el mundo. Fracas\u00f3 en ese empe\u00f1o porque los brit\u00e1nicos comprendieron que por ese camino se llegaba a un monopolio sin alternativas, pero el intento se hizo, y el uso de la f\u00f3rmula \u201clibertades del aire\u201d para designar los tipos de tr\u00e1fico es un indicio fuerte de las ideas que se quer\u00edan imponer.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Al mismo tiempo que la pol\u00edtica hac\u00eda su trabajo y la industria planificaba los aviones que entrar\u00edan en servicio para este imperio del cielo, el brazo ejecutor, Pan American, ten\u00eda que convencer al mundo de que su proyecto era viable y ser\u00eda lo mejor para el mundo. Para lograr este cometido, a partir de 1944 la empresa realiz\u00f3 una fuerte campa\u00f1a publicitaria global mostrando los logros que hab\u00eda alcanzado hasta ese momento, y anunciando los beneficios que recibir\u00edan los viajeros de la postguerra.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Este aviso fue publicado en Selecci\u00f3nes (Reader\u00b4s Digest) de abril de 1945, y es muy claro al respecto.
