El Sky Arrow del Instituto de Clima y Agua fue uno de los atractivos indiscutido de la muestra para los m\u00e1s chicos, y sin duda, para los m\u00e1s grandes tambi\u00e9n.<\/p>\n<p>Esta aeronave es operada por el Instituto de Clima y Agua del INTA Castelar con asistencia del Escuadr\u00f3n de Aviaci\u00f3n de Apoyo de Inteligencia 601 del Ej\u00e9rcito Argentino, en un marco de vinculaci\u00f3n tecnol\u00f3gica y de colaboraci\u00f3n t\u00e9cnica.<\/p>\n<p>Esta plataforma vol\u00f3 a baja altura sobre un sector del Valle del Rio Chubut, aproximadamente unas 4000 hect\u00e1reas de fincas y campos productivos, principalmente con actividad fruti-hort\u00edcola. Se obtuvieron alrededor de 3000 fotogramas con una resoluci\u00f3n espacial de 30 cm que luego de pre-procesadas en laboratorio ser\u00e1n enviadas al Departamento de Teledetecci\u00f3n de la EEA Trelew, a cargo del Ing. Jorge Salomone para su procesamiento final.<\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan Alejandra Casella, del Instituto de Clima y Agua, \u201caprovechando la oportunidad de estar en esa zona, se hicieron unas pasadas de reconocimiento en la meseta de la Estepa Patag\u00f3nica con el objeto experimental de determinar la aptitud de vuelo sobre esa regi\u00f3n y la posible detecci\u00f3n de animales locales, para posibles aplicaciones futuras. (de la sigla en idioma ingl\u00e9s Environmental Research Aircraft), fue desarrollado por la empresa italiana Iniziative Industriali Italiane Meteor SpA . Es un avi\u00f3n liviano, monomotor, biplaza, de ala alta y h\u00e9lice posterior.<\/p>\n<p>Construido enteramente en material compuesto de fibra de carbono, fibra de vidrio, kevlar y epoxi, propulsado con un motor Rotax 912s de 100Hp, alimentado con combustible regular de 95-98 octanos, desarrolla velocidades de hasta 110 nudos con una autonom\u00eda aproximada de 3 horas.<\/p>\n<p>La configuraci\u00f3n de ala alta y h\u00e9lice posterior favorece la aerodin\u00e1mica, y la sustentaci\u00f3n necesarias para poder efectuar vuelos a alturas y velocidades bajas. Este dise\u00f1o, alivia la zona frontal de la aeronave, permitiendo la \u00f3ptima ubicaci\u00f3n de sensores, minimizando los efectos generados por el desplazamiento en el aire de acuerdo se requiere en ciertas actividades de colecta de datos.<\/p>\n<p>El avi\u00f3n est\u00e1 equipado con una c\u00e1mara t\u00e9rmica, un GPS con sistema inercial, sensores de flujo de di\u00f3xido de carbono y vapor de agua y de radiaci\u00f3n solar; Permite obtener informaci\u00f3n sobre incendios, flujo de di\u00f3xido de carbono y vapor de agua, gases con efecto invernadero, \u00edndices de vegetaci\u00f3n, manejo de los recursos naturales, clasificaci\u00f3n de cultivos y estr\u00e9s h\u00eddrico, entre otras aplicaciones para la planificaci\u00f3n ambiental sustentable.<\/p>\n<p>El procesamiento de la informaci\u00f3n no es en tiempo real sino que se realiza en tierra una vez finalizado el vuelo. Nicol\u00e1s Mari y Martin Montini del Instituto de Clima y Agua, presentes en el stand, comentaron que \u201clos pedidos llegan al Instituto, que pueden ser de organismos p\u00fablicos o privados, luego se hace un presupuesto en funci\u00f3n de los costos de operaci\u00f3n, se hace una planificaci\u00f3n del vuelo y se eval\u00faa la factibilidad de volar en determinada zona. Luego de salir a volar, las im\u00e1genes tienen una etapa de pre-procesamiento y post-procesamiento.
