{"id":7589,"date":"2013-12-26T13:00:00","date_gmt":"2013-12-26T11:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.gacetaeronautica.com\/gaceta\/wp-101\/?p=7589"},"modified":"2017-07-03T23:02:06","modified_gmt":"2017-07-03T21:02:06","slug":"el-salto-a-marambio","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.gacetaeronautica.com\/gaceta\/wp-101\/el-salto-a-marambio\/","title":{"rendered":"Mi-171E: El salto a Marambio"},"content":{"rendered":"<figure style=\"width: 650px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.gacetaeronautica.com\/gaceta\/wp-101\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/cruce1.jpg?w=1140\"><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Argentina adquiri\u00f3 los Mi-171E para su uso en el continente ant\u00e1rtico, a donde finalmente fueron desplegados&nbsp; (foto: Guillermo Sentis).<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>El pasado d\u00eda 20 de Diciembre los dos helic\u00f3pteros Mi-171E de La Fuerza A\u00e9rea Argentina (FAA) realizaron el cruce desde el territorio continental argentino hasta la Base Ant\u00e1rtica Marambio, quedando constituido el Escuadr\u00f3n que operar\u00e1 en todo el sector ant\u00e1rtico argentino. De esta manera el Escuadr\u00f3n Ant\u00e1rtico queda compuesto por los dos Mi-171E de la VII Brigada A\u00e9rea y un DHC-6 Twin Otter de la IX Brigada A\u00e9rea. El Bell 212 que permanec\u00eda destacado en la base, retorn\u00f3 a borde de uno de los Hercules que escolt\u00f3 a la formaci\u00f3n de Mi-171E.  <\/p>\n<p>La misi\u00f3n de los helic\u00f3pteros H-94 y H-95 ser\u00e1 la de brindar apoyo a la Campa\u00f1a Ant\u00e1rtica de Verano 2013-2014 del Programa Ant\u00e1rtico Argentino. Entre sus tares estar\u00e1n ejecutar operaciones de sost\u00e9n log\u00edstico, asistencia en situaciones de emergencia, b\u00fasqueda y rescate, que requieran las bases ant\u00e1rticas argentinas, am\u00e9n de prestar apoyo a las de otros pa\u00edses si as\u00ed lo solicitasen. Ente las tareas log\u00edsticas asignadas a estas m\u00e1quinas estar\u00e1 la de realizar vuelos de transporte desde el buque polar Vasily Golvnin, alquilado nuevamente para esta campa\u00f1a, en tanto contin\u00faan las reparaciones al rompehielos ARA Almirante Irizar.  <\/p>\n<p>Los helic\u00f3pteros posicionados previamente en R\u00edo Gallegos, volaron a principios de Diciembre hasta Ushuaia, donde las m\u00e1quinas quedaron hangaradas y tripulaciones quedaron a la espera que se dieran las condiciones propicias para el cruce del pasaje de Drake. El vuelo de las dos m\u00e1quinas parti\u00f3 desde la ciudad de Ushuaia pasadas las 5:00 hs. de la ma\u00f1ana con destino a la base Marambio, donde arrib\u00f3 sobre las 11:00 hs. escoltada por uno de los Hercules involucrados en la operaci\u00f3n.  <\/p>\n<figure style=\"width: 650px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.gacetaeronautica.com\/gaceta\/wp-101\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/cruce2.jpg?w=1140\"><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">El salto al continente blanco totalizo unas seis horas de vuelo aproximadamente (foto: Guillermo Sentis).<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>El traslado de los helic\u00f3pteros ant\u00e1rticos cont\u00f3 con el apoyo y participaci\u00f3n de aeronaves y buques de la Armada y la Prefectura Naval Argentina y de la Fuerza A\u00e9rea de Chile. El despliegue de medios no fue menor, ya que la FAA aport\u00f3 dos C-130 Hercules, un DHC-6 Twin Otter y un Bell 212. La Armada Argentina dispuso un Lockheed P-3B Orion y del aviso ARA \u201cSuboficial Castillo\u201d<sup><a href=\"#_ftn1_2052\" name=\"_ftnref1_2052\"><strong>[1]<\/strong><\/a><\/sup><a href=\"#_ftn1_2052\" name=\"_ftnref1_2052\"><strong><\/strong><\/a>. Por su parte la Prefectura Naval Argentina provey\u00f3 de uno de sus CASA C-212, un AS-365N2 Dauphin y el guardacostas GC-27 \u201cPrefecto Fiqu\u00e9\u201d. Finalmente la Fuerza A\u00e9rea de Chile tambi\u00e9n contribuy\u00f3 con un helic\u00f3ptero Bell 412. <\/p>\n<p>Los Mi 17-1E fueron comprados en Septiembre de 2010 por el Gobierno nacional a trav\u00e9s de una contrataci\u00f3n con la empresa Rosoboronexport, compa\u00f1\u00eda que agrupa bajo su gesti\u00f3n todo el conglomerado de empresas de la defensa de Rusia. Los helic\u00f3pteros llegaron al pa\u00eds a fines de Noviembre 2011, y desde entones las tripulaciones y personal t\u00e9cnico designados para su operaci\u00f3n han estado realizando las instrucci\u00f3n correspondiente en esta nuevas m\u00e1quinas.  <\/p>\n<p>Inicialmente la idea fue desplegar uno de los helic\u00f3pteros para la campa\u00f1a 2012-2013, pero no pudo ser transportado en el barco alquilado para el reaprovisionamiento de las bases ant\u00e1rticas. Finalmente en 2013 se concret\u00f3 el despliegue por v\u00eda a\u00e9rea desde el territorio continental argentino y hasta el sector ant\u00e1rtico nacional. Un primer intento a principios de Diciembre fue suspendido aunque el ministro de defensa Agust\u00edn Rossi lleg\u00f3 a trasladarse a Marambio para recibir a uno de los helic\u00f3pteros. Posteriormente el dia 20 de Diciembre ambas m\u00e1quinas realizaron el salto al continente blanco.
