Desde hace d\u00e9cadas, todos los d\u00edas a la misma hora salen aviones de los mismos aeropuertos para recorrer exactamente la misma ruta, a la misma velocidad y llegar a los mismos destinos.<\/p>\n<figure style=\"width: 200px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.gacetaeronautica.com\/gaceta\/wp-101\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/kaiken33.jpg?resize=200%2C133&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"133\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">La empresa Kaik\u00e9n empez\u00f3 a volar con monomotores, pero en 1993 ya dispon\u00eda de este Piper Navajo (foto: Pablo Luciano Potenze).<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p align=\"justify\">Es dif\u00edcil imaginar algo m\u00e1s aburrido que eso, y por la contraparte, si en alg\u00fan momento deja de cumplirse con este libreto es porque hay problemas graves. Mejor que sea aburrido.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Claro que fuera de la operaci\u00f3n puede haber cosas divertidas. El marketing y la publicidad son campos propicios, aunque poco usados, y algunos personajes del medio, a veces, hacen muy bien de payasos.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">En este momento creo que el m\u00e1s destacados es Michael O&#8217;Leary, CEO de Ryanair, que aparece de vez en cuando con actitudes tan c\u00f3micas como bien estudiadas. Por lo general lo hace atacando a alguien, y suele recibir cr\u00edticas muy despiadadas, lo que no invalida el potencial de la chanza. En el ambiente aeron\u00e1utico hay cosas que decididamente parecen un chiste, as\u00ed que no veo por qu\u00e9 no ponerlas en evidencia con otro chiste.<\/p>\n<figure style=\"width: 200px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.gacetaeronautica.com\/gaceta\/wp-101\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/kaiken44.jpg?resize=200%2C133&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"133\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">El Metro II LV-WDV estacionado en R\u00edo Grande en 1995 (foto: Pablo Luciano Potenze).<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p align=\"justify\">Uno de los modos elegidos por Ryanair para atacar a sus competidores ha sido la inscripci\u00f3n de frases en sus aviones. Cuando Alitalia estaba al borde del colapso (\u00bflo est\u00e1 a\u00fan?) vaticin\u00f3 su muerte con un Boeing 737 que llevaba la inscripci\u00f3n \u00abArrivederci Alitalia\u00bb (<a href=\"http:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/_NjMBSCFmND0\/SPHVTARmo3I\/AAAAAAAAAiQ\/zjvO17o71U0\/s1600-h\/Pisa+006.JPG\">ver foto<\/a>), y tambi\u00e9n lo hizo ante la ca\u00edda de SkyEurope (la operadora anterior de algunos de los Boeing 737\/700 que hoy vuela Aerol\u00edneas Argentinas) con otro jet con la inscripci\u00f3n \u00abbye bye skyeurope\u00bb (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.airliners.net\/photo\/Ryanair\/Boeing-737-8AS\/1116827\/L\/\">ver foto<\/a>). Hasta se le anim\u00f3 a Lufthansa, a la que bautiz\u00f3 Latehansa por sus demoras (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.blingcheese.com\/image\/code\/33\/bye+bye.htm\">ver foto<\/a>), y tambi\u00e9n se ocup\u00f3 de los cargos adicionales de combustible de sus competidoras, aunque esto tuvo menos de chiste (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.berlin-spotter.de\/focus\/2004\/ryanair738nobafuel.jpg\">ver foto<\/a>). Hubo muchos otros, y tambi\u00e9n hubo otras empresas que practicaron este tipo de publicidad.<\/p>\n<h2>La se\u00f1al de Batman<\/h2>\n<figure style=\"width: 200px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.gacetaeronautica.com\/gaceta\/wp-101\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/kaiken22.jpg?resize=200%2C133&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"133\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">El De Havilland Canada Dash7, seg\u00fan Valls, fue elegido porque siendo cuatrimotor les permitir\u00eda volar a la Ant\u00e1rtida y Malvinas cumpliendo con todas las normas. Nunca pudo hacer esas rutas, pero fue utilizado en otras que llegaron desde Tierra del Fuego a C\u00f3rdoba y Mendoza sin pasar por Buenos Aires. Si vamos a hablar de lo que llaman aviaci\u00f3n federal\u2026 (foto: Pablo Luciano Potenze).<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p align=\"justify\">Durante los a\u00f1os noventa en la Patagonia se puso en marcha un interesante programa de subsidios llamado PIDAP (Programa Integral de Desarrollo A\u00e9reo Patag\u00f3nico), que si bien tuvo muchos defectos, sirvi\u00f3 para impulsar a las empresas privadas que operaban en la regi\u00f3n, El Ping\u00fcino, Kaik\u00e9n, SAPSE y TAN. Las dos primeras eran privadas, SAPSE y TAN eran provinciales, pero la segunda fue privatizada en esos a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Los operadores ten\u00edan bastante libertad para elegir sus rutas y flotas, y as\u00ed fue que en varios tramos hubo competencia entre ellos. Algunos de los tramos m\u00e1s concurridos fueron los que un\u00edan el continente con Tierra del Fuego, donde se enfrentaron Kaik\u00e9n, basada en R\u00edo Grande, y El Ping\u00fcino, de R\u00edo Gallegos.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Oscar Valls, fundador y CEO de la empresa fueguina era un empresario de frases agudas, ideas novedosas y sentido del humor. Cuando tom\u00f3 conciencia de que su enemigo era El Ping\u00fcino decidi\u00f3 tomar como emblema al h\u00e9roe que siempre ha derrotado al Ping\u00fcino: Batman.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Y as\u00ed fue que sus tres Fairchild Swearingen Metro II (LV-WDU, LV-WDV y LV-WJY), que estaban pintados con un esquema empresario sin estridencias, un d\u00eda fueron modificados, y en sus derivas apareci\u00f3 la se\u00f1al de Batman. Aparentemente dio resultado, porque el Ping\u00fcino lleg\u00f3 a la bancarrota en 1995, pero Kaik\u00e9n tambi\u00e9n dej\u00f3 de operar en 2000.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Como dato adicional que confirma que la pol\u00edtica es el arte de quedar bien con todos, N\u00e9stor Kirchner, cuando era gobernador de Santa Cruz, present\u00f3 en sociedad a El Ping\u00fcino en la Casa de Gobierno provincial, y unos a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s Cristina fue madrina de un Dash7 de Kaik\u00e9n en el aeropuerto de R\u00edo Gallegos.<\/p>\n<figure style=\"width: 640px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.aviationcorner.net\/show_photo.asp?id=197383\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.gacetaeronautica.com\/gaceta\/wp-101\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/kaiken0.jpg?resize=640%2C426&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"426\" \/><\/a><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">El Saab SF-340A LV-WYS <em>El Yagan<\/em> de la aerol\u00ednea patag\u00f3nica expuesto en el stand exterior del fabricante sueco durante FIDAE 98.
