Whitney R-1830. Como en \u00e9pocas pasadas un Douglas C-47 volv\u00eda a surcar el cielo de una de las otrora principales estaciones a\u00e9reas de nuestro pa\u00eds. Era el LV-BEH, \u00fanico ejemplar de los diez sobrevivientes en nuestro pa\u00eds, que se encuentra en condiciones de vuelo. De esta manera conclu\u00eda el traslado que horas antes hab\u00eda tenido inicio en el Aeropuerto Internacional Gobernador Francisco Gabrielli, de la provincia de Mendoza.<\/p>\n<p>El Skytrain lentamente se incorpor\u00f3 al circuito que lo llevar\u00eda a tocar en la cabecera 19, luego de ir perdiendo velocidad y detenerse recibi\u00f3 la autorizaci\u00f3n para ingresar a rodaje, desplazando sus estilizadas l\u00edneas con la elegancia que caracteriza a este verdadero cl\u00e1sico de los cielos, m\u00e1s tarde hizo su ingreso a la plataforma del hangar 5 ante la atenta mirada de una nutrida concurrencia congregada para ser testigo de este poco usual hecho y procedi\u00f3 a cortar los motores. height: 757px;\" \/> <\/a> <div class=\"tiled-gallery-caption\" itemprop=\"caption description\"> Cockpit del LV-BEH (foto: Esteban Brea). <\/div> <\/div> <\/div> <!-- close group --> <\/div> <!-- close row --> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Este C-47 quedar\u00eda afectado a la FEDIAC (Fundaci\u00f3n para la Evoluci\u00f3n y Desarrollo Integral de la Aviaci\u00f3n Civil) que es ONG sin fines de lucro que tiene como finalidad \u201clograr el mejoramiento de la aviaci\u00f3n civil en general, incorporaci\u00f3n de la mayor cantidad de personas con vocaci\u00f3n aeron\u00e1utica, contribuir a la educaci\u00f3n de aquellas por medio de cursos de capacitaci\u00f3n t\u00e9cnica complementarias a las ya vigentes, para pilotos, t\u00e9cnicos auxiliares de a bordo, administrativos y realizar acciones tendientes a colaborar para el desarrollo integral de la aviaci\u00f3n civil.<\/p>\n<h2>Un poco de historia<\/h2>\n<p>Esta aeronave es un C-47B-15-DK, su C\/n es 15349\/26794, la misma nace a trav\u00e9s del Contract AC-40652 para ser entregada a la United States Army Air Force el 30 de noviembre de 1944 quien lo emplea con la matr\u00edcula 43-49533. M\u00e1s tarde es convertido a la versi\u00f3n C-47D y pasa a revistar en la Misi\u00f3n A\u00e9rea de los Estados Unidos en la Rep\u00fablica de Per\u00fa, luego hace lo propio en Ecuador, Chile, Argentina y nuevamente en Per\u00fa. El 4 de agosto de 1957 se asigna a la Misi\u00f3n de los Estados Unidos en nuestro pa\u00eds. El 22 de mayo de 1959 realiza un aterrizaje corto en la Escuela de Aviaci\u00f3n Militar accident\u00e1ndose, en esas condiciones es ofrecido a la Fuerza A\u00e9rea Argentina (FAA) que lo adquiere por el monto de U$D 5.000. En 1960 comienza a operar en la IV Brigada A\u00e9rea como T-35, hasta 1962 cuando se lo rematricula TC-35. En 1981 pasa a la II Brigada A\u00e9rea y finalmente en 1990 a la V Brigada. Luego pas\u00f3 a manos de Aero Servicios Parrague donde es convertido para tareas de lucha contra incendios, siendo rematriculado CC-PLU.<\/p>\n<p>Finalmente es adquirido por Alberto Moreno Vera quien efect\u00faa el traslado a nuestro pa\u00eds el 8 de abril de 2006, proveniente desde Santiago de Chile, hace su arribo al Aeropuerto Internacional de Mendoza, all\u00ed es inmovilizado por la Direcci\u00f3n Nacional de Aeronavegabilidad aduciendo problemas en documentaci\u00f3n.
