Las matr\u00edculas de la serie \u201cAlfa-Ex-Ray\u201d comenzaron a ser empleadas en la d\u00e9cada de 1980, pasaron a reserva en la d\u00e9cada de 1990 y revivieron en los primeros cinco a\u00f1os de la d\u00e9cada de 2000. Buena parte de las matr\u00edculas iniciales (inscriptas a fines de la d\u00e9cada de 1980) fueron registradas por el Chincul (constructor licenciatario de Piper) constituyendo un rasgo distintivo de este bloque y testimoniando el final de una era de oro para los fabricantes de aeronaves nacionales. Otro atributo espec\u00edfico de la serie es que, a\u00fan a pesar de que una matr\u00edcula civil argentina no puede ser empleada en m\u00e1s de una aeronave, dos de las identidades de este bloque fueron extra\u00f1amente empleadas dos veces. Los registros LV-AXG y LV-AXP, originalmente, fueron asignados brevemente a dos fumigadores Piper Pawnee montados por Chincul en Pocito (San Juan) y eventualmente exportados a Brasil. Una d\u00e9cada y media m\u00e1s tarde, sin embargo, ambas matr\u00edculas ser\u00edan reactivadas con otro par de fumigadores; aunque esta vez provendr\u00edan de los fabricantes extranjeros, Cessna (de EE.UU.) y Pezetel (de Polonia).<\/p>\n<figure style=\"width: 655px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.gacetaeronautica.com\/gaceta\/wp-101\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/LV-AXM_large.jpg?resize=655%2C436\" alt=\"LV-AXM\" width=\"655\" height=\"436\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">El Piper Warrior II LV-AXM, un exponente t\u00edpico de las primeras matr\u00edculas de esta serie, es un visitante habitual a Santa Fe\/Sauce Viejo, donde fue fotografiado en junio de 2011 (foto: v\u00eda Aeropuerto Sauce Viejo\/blog extraoficial).<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Este rango de matr\u00edculas contiene solo tres exponentes del <strong>transporte a\u00e9reo comercial<\/strong> y todos merecen un comentario especial. Los dos primeros ingresaron al pa\u00eds con el ocaso de la d\u00e9cada de 1980, cuando el constructor sueco SAAB logr\u00f3 colocar dos de sus transportes regionales SF-340A con las aerol\u00edneas provinciales Transportes A\u00e9reos Neuqu\u00e9n (TAN) y L\u00edneas A\u00e9reas Entre R\u00edos (LAER). Poco despu\u00e9s del cambio de siglo, por su parte, Aerol\u00edneas Argentinas registr\u00f3 en esta serie la segunda de tres \u201cReinas del Cielo\u201d, el Boeing 747-400 LV-AXF, ejemplar que tendr\u00eda el raro privilegio de ser el \u00faltimo Jumbo Jet en prestar servicio comercial bajo bandera argentina (v\u00e9ase \u201c<a title=\"Texto de Pablo Luciano Potenze\" href=\"https:\/\/www.gacetaeronautica.com\/gaceta\/wp-101\/?p=1788\">So long, Jumbo<\/a>\u201d). Al menos dos de nuestras fuentes tambi\u00e9n aseveran que un Junkers Ju-52 de Aeroposta Argentina habr\u00eda tenido reservada la matr\u00edcula LV-AXB en la d\u00e9cada de 1930, aunque nos falta confirmar el dato (ya sea formal fotogr\u00e1ficamente).
