De las percepciones y tendencias ya observadas en parte en FIDAE 2012, las opiniones sobre la feria caen entre la tajante aprobaci\u00f3n y la tajante condena, sin nada entre ellas. En otros reportes y en los comentarios de los usuarios a nuestras notas, pueden observarse puntos de vista cr\u00edticos que mencionan sin dudarlo ep\u00edtetos tales como \u201caburrida\u201d, \u201cdesastrosa\u201d, \u201cdecadente\u201d \u201ccara\u201d y \u201cpoco atractiva\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Sin embargo, los organizadores y la mayor\u00eda de los medios especializados no dudan en celebrar el \u00e9xito irrefutable de FIDAE 2014. Las estad\u00edsticas post-feria (no todas entregadas por la organizaci\u00f3n), resaltan este punto de vista, se\u00f1alando un crecimiento de los <strong>expositores<\/strong> en un 4% (un total de 587), un total de <strong>43 pa\u00edses expositores<\/strong> (y por primera vez Indonesia, Malasia, Lituania y Eslovenia), un incremento de los <strong>aviones en exhibici\u00f3n<\/strong> de un 11% y un <strong>p\u00fablico visitante<\/strong> a la feria de 150.000, un 25% m\u00e1s que la edici\u00f3n anterior y que casi igual\u00f3 los 160.000 asistentes que tuvo el festival musical Lollapalooza que se efectu\u00f3 en Santiago el mismo fin de semana del 29 y 30 de marzo.<\/p>\n<p>FIDAE 2014 tambi\u00e9n continu\u00f3 fortaleciendo su posici\u00f3n como un lugar clave para la realizaci\u00f3n de conferencias de alto nivel del rubro aeroespacial. Como anticipamos en nuestro \u201cadelanto del show\u201d (v\u00e9ase <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gacetaeronautica.com\/gaceta\/wp-101\/?p=7367\">\u201cFIDAE 2014 se prepara para el lanzamiento: \u00a1un mes y contando!\u201d<\/a>), FIDAE nuevamente alberg\u00f3 la conferencia de comandantes log\u00edsticos de las Fuerzas Aereas de Sud-Am\u00e9rica (15a edici\u00f3n), La VII conferencia de IATA \u201cWings of Change\u201d y la II Conferencia Espacial auspiciada por la Fuerza A\u00e9rea de Chile. Pero ese crecimiento solo se observ\u00f3 en aviones deportivos (ultraligeros, experimentales y deportivos livianos) ya que los aviones militares, ejecutivos y de aviaci\u00f3n general permanecieron igual y la aviaci\u00f3n comercial decay\u00f3 un 25%. Adicionalmente de ilustrar el crecimiento relativo, las estad\u00edsticas hacen evidente la civilizaci\u00f3n de la muestra, horadando su tradici\u00f3n militar, con un crecimiento del 38 al 44% desde al 2012 al 2014.<\/p>\n<p>Otro an\u00e1lisis por segmentos tambi\u00e9n muestra una relevante expansi\u00f3n en la presencia de las <strong>alas rotatorias<\/strong>, creciendo un 24% sobre FIDAE 2012, y representando a su vez un importante 25% de toda la muestra. Si bien reten\u00eda una aplastante mayor\u00eda de 74%, el segmento de <strong>aviones<\/strong> de ala fija obtuvo solo un 7% de aumento y los <strong>planeadores<\/strong> permanecieron sin cambio con un 1%, aunque si con dos representantes (dos Janus de la FACH).<\/p>\n<h3>Novedades en exposici\u00f3n<\/h3>\n<p>Ostensiblemente dificultado por recortes presupuestarios y temas diplom\u00e1ticos, hubo una significativa escasa presencia de <strong>aeronaves militares extranjeras<\/strong>. Sin embargo aunque no completamente nuevos en el show (e incluso no parte del show mismo), tambi\u00e9n se pueden mencionar las m\u00e1s recientes adiciones a la flota de la aviaci\u00f3n del Ej\u00e9rcito de Chile (AS532ALE Cougar y Citation Sovereing), la FACH (Cirrus SR-22 y Extra 300L) y la Fuerza A\u00e9rea Argentina (Learjet 35 EW).<\/p>\n<p>El segmento de la <strong>aviaci\u00f3n comercial<\/strong>, vivi\u00f3 uno de sus m\u00e1s aburridas FIDAEs y fue dominado indiscutiblemente en un presentaci\u00f3n que dur\u00f3 la semana completa, por el buque insignia de Airbus, el A380. Boeing resign\u00f3 la competencia oponi\u00e9ndose apenas con un Boeing 737-800 que efectu\u00f3 el primer vuelo en Brasil de un avi\u00f3n propulsado con bio-combustibles. Adem\u00e1s la presencia de Gol vino a apoyar la memoria visual del publico chileno, en preparaci\u00f3n del reinicio de las operaciones de esta compa\u00f1\u00eda a Chile. Airbus reaccion\u00f3 y coloco por un breve tiempo uno de los Airbus A320 de LAN, equipados con sharklets. Las \u00fanicas novedades en este segmento fueron la \u00faltima evoluci\u00f3n del Bombardier Dash (el Q400 Next Gen) y el \u00faltimo modelo del Cessna 208, El Gran Caravan EX.<\/p>\n<h3>Segmentos inferiores, expansiones superiores<\/h3>\n<p>Contrario a los segmentos altos de la industria aeron\u00e1utica, la aviaci\u00f3n deportiva, general y ejecutiva, a\u00f1adieron vida y espacio a la feria. Fabricantes de modelos de <strong>aviaci\u00f3n ejecutiva<\/strong> de diferentes partes del mundo se reunieron en FIDAE para ofrecer sus m\u00e1s nuevos productos como por ejemplo el primer AW119Ke de Sudam\u00e9rica y el AW109SP por AgustaWestland, el primer EC130B2 y EC155B1 de Chile, por Airbus Helicopters, y los modelos 429WLG y 505 Jet Ranger X, de Bell Helicopter. Pero fue la <strong>aviaci\u00f3n deportiva<\/strong> la que dio el salto m\u00e1s grande entrando con fuerza en FIDAE. No solo provey\u00f3 a la feria con la \u00fanica escuadrilla acrob\u00e1tica que se present\u00f3 al p\u00fablico (leer m\u00e1s abajo) sino que present\u00f3 una amplia gama de ultraligeros y aviones experimentales, como tambi\u00e9n tres aviones del segmento aviaci\u00f3n ligera deportiva (Harmony, Skyleader, y Pipistrel).<\/p>\n<h3>\u00a1El show debe continuar!<\/h3>\n<p>Como anticipamos en nuestros avances \u201cpre-show\u201d, FIDAE 2014 careci\u00f3 de sus m\u00e1s tradicionales atractivos, La escuadrilla \u201c Fuma\u00e7a\u201d de la FAB (For\u00e7a A\u00e9rea Brasilera) y el team Halcones de la FACH. La escuadrilla brasilera se encuentra realizando la conversi\u00f3n al A-29 Super Tucano, y los Halcones se recuperaban del accidente que marzo pasado le cost\u00f3 la vida a uno de sus pilotos y a uno de sus mec\u00e1nicos (de hecho, el avi\u00f3n de reemplazo fue exhibido en la feria solo est\u00e1ticamente). Cubriendo la doble vacante, se present\u00f3 un team acrob\u00e1tico civil argentino, con sus tres aviones experimentales RANS, en una experiencia de la cual su fundador, Cesar Falistocco, asegur\u00f3 haber vuelto \u201ca casa con una escuadrilla muy distinta\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Lejos de los d\u00edas en que el sonido del motores de los jets de combate representaban \u201cel sonido de la libertad\u201d (como un ejecutivo de Boeing Defence &amp; Space se\u00f1al\u00f3), restricciones ambientales y de seguridad convirtieron las rutinas de vuelo en aburridas, cortas y carentes de espectacularidad. La separaci\u00f3n del evento en dos, uno que apunta a los profesionales del sector aeroespacial y la defensa y otro al p\u00fablico en general, dio sus frutos a las luces de las cifras expuestas anteriormente. Y, con nueve empresas de Rusia, Brasil, el Reino Unido, Ucrania, Bielorrusia, Italia y la India reserv\u00e1ndose 1.722 metros cuadrados de stands para FIDAE 2016 antes de terminar la edici\u00f3n 2014, se espera que el negocio \u201csiga como siempre\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>No importa mucho que los entusiastas de la aviaci\u00f3n se quejen de la falta de \u201cpesos pesados\u201d (F-22, T-50\u2026 \u00a1al menos un Sukhoi venezolano!) o legitimas innovaciones de vanguardia. Tampoco importan las largas filas para todo\u2026 para entrar a la feria, para entrar al A380, para comer, para ir al ba\u00f1o, o para salir de la Feria (los servicios esenciales han sido el lado flaco de la feria por varias ediciones, y eso con gran eco en la prensa). Es dif\u00edcil que la feria cambie substancialmente en el futuro independiente de las tendencias mundiales que a pesar de la \u201caldea global\u201d no llegan con gran velocidad por estos rumbos.
