Registrado en noviembre de 1980, el biturbo h\u00e9lice prest\u00f3 servicio en el pa\u00eds hasta principios de la d\u00e9cada de 1990 (foto: Carlos Ay).<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Si bien la actividad aeron\u00e1utica civil argentina se remonta a principios de la d\u00e9cada de 1910, no fue sino hasta 1923 que se hicieron los primeros esfuerzos por formalizar distintos aspectos reglamentarios, jur\u00eddicos y t\u00e9cnicos de la materia. Si bien la Rep\u00fablica Argentina no adher\u00eda en aquel entonces a lo definido en la Convenci\u00f3n para la Reglamentaci\u00f3n A\u00e9rea Internacional firmada en Par\u00eds el 13 de octubre de 1919, el gobierno del Presidente Marcelo T. de Alvear fue el primero en fijar normas concretas para la actividad a\u00e9rea civil mediante un decreto promulgado el 4 de septiembre de 1925. Seg\u00fan esa norma transitoria, todas las aeronaves civiles existentes en el pa\u00eds y las que posteriormente se introdujeran en \u00e9l, se consideraban de matr\u00edcula nacional y sus propietarios estaban obligados a inscribirlas en el Servicio Aeron\u00e1utico del Ej\u00e9rcito (aviones, dirigibles o globos) y en la Jefatura del Servicio Aeron\u00e1utico Naval (hidroaviones o anfibios). Para registrar esas aeronaves se emplear\u00eda un prefijo de nacionalidad (la letra \u00abR\u00bb) y cuatro letras para identificar la matr\u00edcula.<\/p>\n<figure style=\"width: 655px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a title=\"Clic aqu\u00ed para ampliar\" href=\"http:\/\/www.airliners.net\/photo\/Rans-S-10-Sakota\/2015272\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.gacetaeronautica.com\/gaceta\/wp-101\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/2015272.jpg?resize=655%2C436\" alt=\"\" width=\"655\" height=\"436\" \/><\/a><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Una de las series especiales dentro del registro argentino es la de aeronaves experimentales, que emplean el prefijo LV-X seguido de un n\u00famero correlativo que inici\u00f3 en 1 en el a\u00f1o 1943. En la imagen un Rans S-10 Sakota matriculado LV-X252 (foto: Gabriel Luque).<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Las aeronaves inscriptas en el Ej\u00e9rcito llevar\u00edan por primera letra de matr\u00edcula la \u00abA\u00bb seguida de una \u00abC\u00bb si se trataba de aviones civiles, una \u00abG\u00bb si pertenec\u00edan al Ministerio de Guerra o una \u00abM\u00bb si eran del Ministerio de Marina. Los hidroplanos inscriptos en la Marina llevar\u00edan por tercera y cuarta letras distintas combinaciones de las letras T, V, W, X y Z. La norma entr\u00f3 en vigencia el 30 de julio de 1926 pero no tuvo gran adhesi\u00f3n hasta 1928. Para ese entonces, la matriculaci\u00f3n de cuatro letras ser\u00eda sustituida por un correlativo num\u00e9rico que, comenzando en \u00ab1\u00bb, alcanzar\u00eda el \u00ab350\u00bb. Adhiriendo a la Convenci\u00f3n de Par\u00eds, el 10 de noviembre de 1937 la Direcci\u00f3n General de Aviaci\u00f3n Civil dispuso discontinuar el sistema de matriculaci\u00f3n pre-existente y reemplazarlo por uno nuevo que utilizar\u00eda como identificaci\u00f3n una combinaci\u00f3n de cinco letras comprendidas entre LV-AAA y LV-ZZZ. En los m\u00e1s de 70 a\u00f1os transcurridos desde entonces, el espacio de matriculaci\u00f3n fue segmentado seg\u00fan distintas preferencias y gustos de las autoridades de turno.<\/p>\n<figure style=\"width: 651px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a title=\"Clic aqu\u00ed para ampliar\" href=\"http:\/\/www.airliners.net\/photo\/Policia-de-la\/Piper-PA-32R-300-Cherokee\/1725285\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.gacetaeronautica.com\/gaceta\/wp-101\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/1725285.jpg?resize=651%2C435\" alt=\"\" width=\"651\" height=\"435\" \/><\/a><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Para destacar su condici\u00f3n de aeronave oficial, muchos aviones y helic\u00f3pteros del estado (nacional o provincial) han empleado el prefijo LQ en vez del convencional LV. Aqu\u00ed vemos al Chincul Piper PA-A-32R-300 Cherokee Lance LQ-MDF de la Direcci\u00f3n A\u00e9rea de la Polic\u00eda de la Provincia de Buenos Aires (foto: Gabriel Luque).<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Aproximadamente a partir de la d\u00e9cada de 1980, sin embargo, las matr\u00edculas comenzaron ser asignadas m\u00e1s o menos secuencialmente y aprovechando todos los espacios dejados libres por sistemas de segmentaci\u00f3n parcial. A pesar de ello, algunos tramos parecen continuar reservados para casos especiales: Los planeadores emplean matr\u00edculas entre LV-DAA y LV-EZZ; aunque el rango LV-DMA a LV-DMZ se reserva para aeronaves demostradores. Los aviones experimentales y ultralivianos operan con prefijo LV-X, LV-U o LV-UX, respectivamente, m\u00e1s un correlativo num\u00e9rico; cosa que tambi\u00e9n hicieron brevemente algunas aeronaves de fabricaci\u00f3n nacional empleando el prefijo LV-F. Las aeronaves en tr\u00e1nsito (importaci\u00f3n) hacia el pa\u00eds, por su parte, reciben matr\u00edculas pasavantes en el segmento LV-PAA a LV-PZZ, identidades que (te\u00f3ricamente) son las \u00fanicas que se pueden emplear en m\u00e1s de una ocasi\u00f3n. Para terminar, vale la pena indicar que, si bien el prefijo nacional es LV, tambi\u00e9n se emplea el prefijo LQ para identificar aeronaves de uso oficial o gubernamental.<\/p>\n<figure style=\"width: 651px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a title=\"Clic aqu\u00ed para ampliar\" href=\"http:\/\/www.airliners.net\/photo\/Austral-Lineas-Aereas\/Boeing-737-228-Adv\/0106791\/\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.gacetaeronautica.com\/gaceta\/wp-101\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/0106791.jpg?resize=651%2C404\" alt=\"\" width=\"651\" height=\"404\" \/><\/a><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">La serie de matr\u00edculas civiles argentinas m\u00e1s compleja (\u00a1y m\u00e1s ef\u00edmera!) es la de los registros pasavantes que se emplean para trasladar aeronaves importadas hasta el pa\u00eds. La segunda vez que se emple\u00f3 la LV-PIP, por ejemplo, fue asignada a un Boeing 737-228Advanced que Austral L\u00edneas A\u00e9reas import\u00f3 al pa\u00eds en agosto de 2000 y que poco despu\u00e9s asumi\u00f3 la identidad regular LV-ZTX (foto: Jorge Albanese).<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>En las siguientes entregas de esta nueva <strong>secci\u00f3n especial<\/strong> de Gaceta Aeron\u00e1utica, comenzaremos a publicar un cat\u00e1logo ilustrado de aeronaves civiles argentinas. En \u00e9l, proporcionaremos lotes homog\u00e9neos de aeronaves civiles registradas en la Rep\u00fablica Argentina indicando su constructor, tipo y modelo, n\u00famero de serie o n\u00famero de construcci\u00f3n, \u00faltimo propietario conocido y fecha de matriculaci\u00f3n junto con (idealmente) una imagen de cada una de las aeronaves documentadas. A diferencia de otros contenidos del portal, este proyecto busca ser una iniciativa comunitaria que cuente con la activa participaci\u00f3n de nuestros colaboradores, lectores y visitantes.
