On 19 April, company spokesman Horacio G. Viqueira released a press communiqu\u00e9 revealing that three Ministry of Defence contracts had just been issued to the company.<\/p>\n<div align=\"center\">\n<table style=\"border-collapse: collapse\" id=\"table2\" border=\"0\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<th align=\"center\"><script type=\"text\/javascript\">\/\/ <![CDATA[\ngoogle_ad_client = \"ca-pub-6842223591044281\";\n\/* AM - Pie de portada *\/\ngoogle_ad_slot = \"2102090342\";\ngoogle_ad_width = 468;\ngoogle_ad_height = 60;\n\/\/ ]]><\/script><script type=\"text\/javascript\" src=\"http:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/show_ads.js\">\/\/ <![CDATA[\n\n\/\/ ]]><\/script><\/th>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/div>\n<p align=\"justify\">Assuring it a stable workload for years 2010-2011, the contracts are valued at Argentine Pesos 679 million (US $ 175 million) and are expected to result in continued Air Force aircraft and engine maintenance services (Contract #08); manufacture of 8 <strong>IA-63 Pampa Serie II<\/strong> airframes, re-engining of a further 8 aircraft and development of an upgraded version prototype (Contract #09) plus avionics upgrades por existing <strong>IA-58 Pucar\u00e1 airframes<\/strong> and development of a re-engined version prototype (Contract #10).<\/p>\n<figure style=\"width: 650px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.gacetaeronautica.com\/gaceta\/wp-102\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/Imagen-6705.jpg?w=1140\"><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">IA-63 Pampa Serie II made its first international tour under the FAdeA namesake in FIDAE 2010 (photo by author).<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p align=\"justify\">Further into the future, negotiations with the Ministry of Defence are expected to extend production and services until at least 2014 and comprise a number of prospects presently under evaluation.
