TAM Airlines announced late last month the addition of a new frequency to the existing New York (JFK) to São Paulo (GRU), Brazil route beginning September 21, 2013. The new frequency offers travellers more options for planning travel from JFK to São Paulo and joins the company’s existing daily night-time flights from New York to São Paulo and daily flight to Rio de Janeiro. Flight JJ8083 now departs New York at 9:35 a.m. and lands in São Paulo at 7:55 p.m (all times, local). The return flight, JJ8082, leaves São Paulo at 8:30 a.m. and lands in New York at 5:10 p.m. The flight is being operated by modern Boeing 777-300 aircraft four days per week offering three classes of service with four seats in First Class, 45 in Business Class and 314 in Economy Class. These flights supplement night-time flights JJ8081, departing daily from New York/JFK at 8:15 p.m. and landing in São Paulo/Guarulhos at 6:35 a.m., and JJ8080, departing São Paulo/Guarulhos at 10:30 p.m. and reaching New York/JFK at 7 a.m.
